She drove and went to a concert after this? Oh no. She didn’t fully feel the weight of what she did. It is true though, that the brain of a teenager isn’t fully developed until 25yrs old. Netflix has a whole series on how to commit suicide, it’s pushed in the kids faces, they also have other self-destructive behaviors flaunted in their faces… even by books their public school libraries choose to put on their book shelves. If society doesn’t shield and protect kids from these evils, they will impact some kids to make bad choices and influence their decision making, and someone else’s bad choices can negatively impact many innocent people. This is a horrible tragedy, I was crying the whole time I watched the police body cam of Dominic’s mother being told the news. I can not even imagine the sorrow. I pray for both boy’s families… and I also pray for this girl and her family. Even though this who situation seems like ashes, I pray that somehow God can bring something good from it all, so that those boys didn’t die in vain. God can take horrible things and bring something beautiful from it. Mothers, you will see your sons again, but I know it’s going to be what seems like eternity. I pray that your hearts are comforted and God brings you peace of heart… this all may spare the lives of countless people, teens… especially those cont I’m playing suicide right now. They likely haven’t thought about how devastating their deaths would be to their families, just thinking about escaping their own pain. This will save lives.

This is what happens when you tell your kids they are always right. That there are no consequences for actions. When parents fail to discipline then a judge has to step in. Judge didn't care if she was a model prisoner in juvie or if Mackenzie issued a fake statement in court. She had to step in and parent this girl because her mother didn't know how. She made her feel the weight of her actions and listen to all the pain she has caused. She didn't sugarcoat it like her parents did. This is just the beginning of it setting in. I hope she grows up in prison and realizes the implications of her crime. Listen up parents, when you don't lay down the rules at home, there will always be another parent who will step in and finish the job. Let that sink in.

    • @RedceLL1978
      @RedceLL1978 9 месяцев назад +8

It's 15 years for EACH victim to be served concurrently. So, two 15 year bids is the sentence, you probably missed it when she said it. So she has to serve 15 years, deal with the parole board to be paroled for that sentence, THEN begin another brand new 15 years sentence and then deal with the discretion of the parole board at the end of that sentence too. Granted, with good behavior, you can get 1/3 off of each of those sentences, making it 10 years until she gets to see the parole board on each sentence and often they deny parole on the first parole hearing, which I think is a stupidly arbitrary policy that too often foregoes nuance in favor of parole board power tripping, but not every parole board does that. Realistically, this girl will probably do 30 years and be out around the time she's 50. I was in prison for burglary, went up for parole and was paroled the first time. It does happen.

It looks like narcissism runs in the family. The mother is insufferable. Her narcissism runs so deep she doesn't understand how she is perceived. She is SO self-centered so as not to notice. Her daughter murdered two young men from selfish ego. When you listen to the mother speak, you know where she got it from. The sentences should definitely have run consecutively, NOT concurrently. And that narcissistic family doesn't understand that in 15 years, when her parole comes up, all their behavior and lack of remorse will weigh against their MURDERER daughter. And if such a thing is possible, this case is compounded by the fact that she brought along another innocent victim that had nothing to do with anything. She could have told the boyfriend that she wanted to talk to him alone, and left the other kid alive! Society can do without this family's contribution.

An accident is speeding 100mph in a city? 🤔 nobody should be going that fast in a city!
The mom so worried about how her daughter looks.
Hell after my horrible car wreak. I didn’t WANT to go anywhere! Especially in my wheelchair! I was doing good just trying to recover and rethinking my life decisions! Definitely changed after that!
I’m so glad the Judge brought up the selfishness of this lady. Wow.
So sorry to the families who lost their babies. Heartbreaking 💔 🥺

This girl never shed a tear during Dominic's family telling about their lose but now that her mother is a speaking she's bawling it's not remorse it's the fact that her mother is describing her as a good girl.pitiful.

Bruh the mother of the girl has no remorse. Same with the kid. Fake cry was the worst omg. She’s not a murdered and is innocent, the gal of her saying that is appalling. They did not care not the daughter not the mom not the father.

My heart breaks for the family of the two young men. I disagree with judge's decision. I believe separate time for each young man murdered would have been just. That being said, I do sincerely hope the parole board decides to keep her at least 40 years or long enough to deny her the chance to ever become a mother herself. I pray these two families find a way to forgive her but think it will make that harder if they see her out free to live her life after she robbed the lives their children should be living.

You don’t follow court cases much do you? She’ll be out in 15 years or less & most likely will be sooner than that. It was considered an accident according to her atty, & that’s what her family is believing going by what the daughter told them. She should have been in front of a jury trial and not a bench trial in front of a judge in these type of cases. She was a minor and the federal mandated law requires she be given parole after she does 1/3 the time.

@@dudemorris7769unfortunately you're 100% right. Add the fact she's probably (if she really is gonna die on the "it was an accident" hill) going to appeal and the judge said both counts she gets to serve concurrently. If I were to take an educated guess she will be outa there in 10-15 yrs max

These poor poor parents. My heart hurts for them. I just don't understand why anyone would do something like this..? Multiple bad choices and decisions cost lives and a girl who is very young to never be in life to see what her life could have be. But most of all lives of kid's that will never get to hit the mile markers and stopping stones in growing up. Their parents sister's cousins will never have any of the special moments with them ever again. My heart goes out to the family's of the boys my heart goes out to the siblings of these boys. Its so incredibly important that no matter what we as parents need to stress the point of making incredibly good choices and to stop and think is it worth taking anger out on someone else because they didn't get their way and that every decision that we make and involve others in can impact more than just yourself. To think wisely long and hard and if your upset to walk away and take a break and not take it out on anyone else. To make sure that we don't teach our kids to be carless because they didn't get their way and thats how life is. Not to throw a fit and be careless after making that bad decision and own the decisions that you make regardless of it being good or bad and except the punishment for their actions. This should have Never happened if parents.were more involved with stressing what is right and wrong. My heart breaks for these families especially after hearing her say cant they take her license away for 10 years or something..? Wow my mind cannot comprehend that question after careless thought and killing to people that were loved by so many. Yes that was very careless and it truly shows. Now she cries not because shes full of remorse but because she's going to prison for her actions. At least she will be able to talk and see her family. At least she'll have a roof over her head and a bed to sleep in every night atleast she will have 3 meals a day.. she will never have to worry about paying bills or not having needs of every day living. And because of her poor choices we as tax payers will be supporting her stay at her local prison for the rest of her life. She got the easy way out. A csr is a weapon and she used it as such. I wish their was a death penalty in her state for her to be sent home to the ultimate judge for her real sentence and for all who murder out of hate like this. Her Time as well as everyone else who did something horrible like this as well as others like her but us as well. I hope that she comes to know the lord and ask for forgiveness from this and i hope one day she will truly feel remorseful for this. Because the only one that can save her soul is the king in heaven and the trip to heaven is a narrow path but worth serving to spend eternity with the lord in heaven. Im praying for the families and friends of the to young boys that lost their lives from this and that the lord will give their families the strength to fight for the justice of their baby boys. May the lord bless them and carry them through the horrible things that Satan has put on them that he will embrace these families and shelter them from the work of Satan and his evil followers. May their sweet boys finally rest in peace. ❤❤😢

Listening to Mrs Shirilla excusing her daughter from all accountability and STILL addressing the crash as accidental instead of intentional with murderous intent behind the being the outcome, yet her mother paints Mackenzie as a saint and perpetual victim. It's no wonder she turned out the way she has when her own parents have the audacity to voice those excuses not just in a court room, but in front of the families of the murdered victims. Never before have I heard a judge interrupt a 'victin' impact statement, but I'm glad she did. The judge couldn't believe how 'tone-deaf' Mrs Shirilla was as she argued that her precious little daughter was upset enough without being imprisoned for (in parents words)"an accident". Sometimes circumstances permit its best to say nothing! Yelling "WE LOVE YOU KENZ" as the prisoner is led away shows that family has ZERO respect for the REAL victims in this!

I was thinking just about everything you said, super offended about the family shout outs at the end. In court during a double murder sentence, with victims families present, is not the best time to tell “you’re innocent.”

Her mother addressing the court about that damn Facebook post and taking up 90% of the statement focusing on her repulsive daughter to the point of being reprimanded by the judge is not only shocking, as I’ve never seen someone be so blatantly disregarding during a so called “Victims Impact Statement” but also downright disgusting and nauseating to listen to and tells me everything I need to know about her. Her father yelling out “We know you’re Innocent!” Tells me a lot about him also. 🤦🏻‍♀️ McKenzie’s selfish ignorance, woe is me attitude, lack of accountability and the crying only for herself was bred by her parents and only grew when she was released into the world to become someone’s else’s problem smh! I feel so sad for the families of these young men and may God be with y’all during this difficult time!! 🙏🏼

I can't help and notice when her mother came up to talk. They're just feeling of the sense of manipulation. No sincerity. No empathy unless it's just her demeanor and how she talks. It felt fake unless she was just nervous or or something. So it's hard to judge but outside looking in it just looking at her mother speak and just it didn't feel some sincere.
