Perfect response. I appreciate the slow build of a film, it makes the end product more complete.

100% AGREE … maybe it’s because I’m a writer that edits the hell out of every word on the page that I don’t want someone else changing a thing!

He is great at making movies you can become lost in, and they hold up. Epic stuff.

Exactly! Just making films because of what’s popular or trending will most likely be forgotten sooner than later. Better to make something that’s timeless and will be loved forever even if it’s not popular at the time.

DANCES WITH WOLVES is an epic. OPEN RANGE is an unsung classic to date but appreciated by many. So I'm really looking forward to the 4-movie HORIZON. When you think about the last 25 years of serialised television starting with THE SOPRANOS, it makes sense that movies can also be serialised. We have had movie trilogies before but not a 4-movie serialisation, and given that Costner's strength as a director is character development, this is a great format for him.

Omg this is a MUST SEE
I AM A TRUE HEARTED COUNTRY GAL AND I LOVE THE SCENES THAT HAVE THE FOOTAGE OF OUR GREAT NATION....TO TELL A STORY YOU MUST GET THE LAYOUT PERFECT...the look of it is a sure win with this cowboy and cowgal nation lovin from The canyons to the layout of the mountains ranges of trees.. this movie is this is a story that's going to be told over many generations what time is just capsulated in a period and every other period is going to be intrigued to know about this one because it's towards in the beginning... In the beginning of us settling in to our country

I totally agree. I think this will be an epic classic. Western westers don't always have to get to the gunfight. There's a story involved and I think this series will be a classic in the long run, great job🎉

I love how all the characters had brand new clothes and the actresses had perfect eyebrows and the native men had perfectly manicured nails. Really brought a taste of realism to the whole thing.
