I love Bottom. I grew up watching it when i was a kid. I had to watch some episodes two or three times as i missed some of them through laughing so much.
Rik Mayall was comedy itself. A natural. His roles are usually bombastic larger than life characters. Kevin Turvey was probably my favourite but his Dreamy time escorts character in the mysteriously obfuscated Mr Jolly lives next door was a masterclass.
I was very late on the show but its my favourite show of all time. When I'm down or having a bad time at work or anything in general I put on bottom and it makes me laugh everytime

When it first came out I was watching it with my dad. He'd cracked a couple of ribs and we had to turn it off as he was in agony laughing so much.
