Also if you scared of jumping in feet first. I would suggest trying to switch your current job to part time if possible. I work 3 days a week at my wfh job and then the rest of the time I use it for my own goals. The pt job covers my living expenses and takes the pressure off of me trying to make my hobby a money maker.
Great video. I really enjoyed our perspective. I’ve found similar challenges since having kids, consulting and shifting to very part time but on a flexible work schedule. I recently found your channel and have watched a few, I can’t wait to catch up on some of your other videos.

Aww, I just saw you used the super thanks option too 😭 that's my first super thanks ever!! It means the world to me, thank you, Daniel ❤️ what a sweet surprise!! You made my day!
you always post about what I need to hear when I need it! It's so good to hear about your journey, thank you for all of the tips and good luck with everything. I love that you're constantly learning new things and doing a variety of different projects which is so inspiring and what i'd like to do as well and I'd love to hear about how you've balanced things in your life. right now I'm learning german alongside other projects and you're super inspirational and motivational! especially when things become hard to manage. I hope you're doing well and I wish you luck with all of your endeavors!
Thank you for sharing, Rachel! It's really amazing to hear about others' experiences too! I think the biggest tip I have for balancing everything is to pace yourself, do a little bit every day, and never do too much. It feels like sprinting might be the best way to make progress on everything at once, but as a generalist, it's better to bet on the long-term progress. We are not machines. We need time to reset and regenerate! I wish you a lot of luck, too, in the new year. I hope you find clarity and that you are healthy and happy every single day!
@@AntoniatheUniverse Thank you! This is really great advice. you're right about feeling the need sprint on new projects and when I'm learning new things so it's refreshing to hear that as generalists we need to work towards long term progress. Thank you so much, and I hope you have a happy new year and that you are also happy any healthy! I appreciate all your amazing work and hope you get some rest as well :-)
.. Aaand now you know why I was gone 💀 It's hard to stay on top of everything, but at least I learned a lot (right?)
Thank you Antonia for all that insight. I understand that it can be hard and I for one really apprechiate the work you put into everything!
