You can easily build difficult habits
Просмотров 1,4 тыс.2 года назад
I've been thinking about why most habits fail within weeks, and it's not because we're lazy, or not trying the right techniques. It's because we're working on them separately from everything else. We're ignoring our life as a whole and trying to introduce something new into it. Eventually, habits that don't become a sustainable part of our lives are destined to fail. We may feel like we're givi...

How focusing on work is ruining your life
Просмотров 6 тыс.2 года назад
Why work makes you feel drained and unhappy is my theory about how focusing on work is ruining our lives. We take so much time to prepare, focus and do the work that our mental health, physical health, relationships, and recreation remain completely neglected. Then we wonder why work makes us feel tired and unfulfilled, it has nothing to do with who we truly are and the notion of "work-life bal...

I Quit My "Dream Job" for My Actual Dreams

I thought I'd always wonder if there's an actual dream job out there, that fits me like a glove, and not just the one that sits right by all societal standards. What is the name of your watch ⌚
I’m 19 turning 20 soon and I’ve spent the past year working most days and it’s truly miserable. I want the energy to workout, work on art and learn new things. I recently asked to be put on part time and I’ve felt so bad about myself cause of it this helped
Hey what are those round things from your board from last year and where did you get the papers you wrote on?
I have two interviews tomorrow. Both part time .. Ppl are going to think that I’m crazy. But I know how much my mental çan take .
Pretty easy when you are student and ALSO collecting special foreigner student suplimental grants for housing Stop deceiving
If we weren't trapped under capitalism but rather lived in communities based in mutual aid, we wouldn't need to individually crunch our lives into smaller and more minimal boxes just to survive with a few more scraps of freedom. I appreciate the tips on how to cope and make life easier right now, but big picture we must co-create true revolution and liberation
I guess you could also use the watch to help you remember to pray and to track your focus and breathing when praying. Your relationship with God is the most important metric to track and Improve in life. Making quality time for Jesus and following through on that time could dramatically improve your prayer life. You could even set your watch up to start prayer time after you clear your mind with the meditation app.
You make $1,368 a month in US dollars?
I was initially wanting part time work to balance my masters classes after being miserable as a full time working student with no time to learn. But now this sounds like the real lifestyle, just work 4 days a week and quit the grind l. Problem is my future career plans are basically full time jobs only. Thinking to just move to a cheap US city and live on part time retail job, which are readily available .
Glad gen Z have the guts to admit this, thank you. I'm an "elder millennial" and have been self employed since my mid 20s because I felt like all of the things mentioned were such BS. I want to run my day while working asynchronously doing high quality work.
Thank you for sharing. I learned about small steps. I have to add things to something I am already doing, aka a trigger. For me it helps me remember. So, after breakfast I do a meditation, then shoes on and out the door. On the way out the door for my walk, I put the laundry in the dryer (it's old and it really only fluffs), when I get home I hang them up to finish drying then on my way to the back to put away yesterdays laundry and get dressed for the day. Each one was built on the other. Things have to flow for me or something that feels like a speed bump won't get done. PS PLEASE be careful with the diffuser and your sweet kitty. Their livers can't process the concentrated form of that. I lost a Boxer dog due to his fascination with peppermint - I didn't know 😞
If you are a guy and do this, you will be a very lonely guy xD
Hey, how can you got that quick timer widget in new one ui watches default looks soo messy
Nice. I hate full-time work. No matter what it is, it's not worth spending 40 hours per week doing.
nice review and reflection on the whole smart watch thing, thanks. Are you still using the same watch ?
Sugar is good but don't like it no more
make sure not to soak the cat😅 But thanks so much for the recipes
Watched ur vedio from India so nice mam
Are you there 🧐 it's sooo sad to not see a response for about one year.
Moneyless! More free time, less work, less stress, better city systems, The Venus Project by Jacque Fresco
The idea of having a smartwatch appeals to me, however I wondered if it was just another fad wish of mine. So, I decided to look for the benefits of smartwatches and stumbled upon your video. Now, I have no doubts that I want to give it a try. Thanks so much.
the sooner we distinguish between a job and "work" as a society the better.
What about waiting for trains and buses all the time thats a lot of time
Very inspirational.
You're really beautiful, I truly mean that
I'm subscribed. This is also always bothering me but I never dare to leave my job, because full time and paid less than my time spend for the work. but now I got laid off and I am trying hard to get part time job, still don't find it. I want to do creative work that I am not good at but I really want, for example create youtube.
Good luck doing that in the Biden/Harris world we live in now.
I have two advice here. 1. With an increasing salary the tax ratio goes up as well. Calculate the sweet spot for you. 2. Contrary to what I've just said, work half a day more and invest it into a broad index fund. Over time, you accumulate more and more money that eventually gives you even more time.
What happened to this beautiful lady?
not gonna lie, I've been a traditional analog watch wearer for 6+ years. I tried one of the first or second generation smart watches, but reverted back to traditional. the way you broke down all the features (Holy Molly they've come a long way) has me wanting to make the switch. I scroll all day every day, don't drink enough water, and can use the exercise reminders, but aparently there's so much more that, with how use my phone, the watch would be so much better for me overall, and could potentially replace my phone in its entirety.
So in short, if you are able to work less - you should work less. I been doing this for the last 5 years, I have a very flexible contract and only work 2-4 days a week, I own my home and have no debt and strangely enough enjoy my work more now than when I was "forced" to work a 40hr week. It frees up so much time to pursue personal interests.
Working part-time is not beneficial unless you have inherited wealth. You need to work full-time for retirement and health care benefits.
I WAS LOOKIN FOR THIS THNK YOU. SIS I LOVE U.
Great video, very useful. Thank you ❤
Your title says it all and is exactly how I feel, I don't want to work full time either. Freedom is very important to me and I'd rather earn less but have a nice work-life balance, which part time work provides. I can't wait to watch more of your videos on minimalism and living simply!
Hi Antonia, so glad I stumbled upon your site. I'm also a minimalist and I enjoy your philosophy that less is more. Simple but meaningful is how I try to model my life as well. I also LOVE the idea of part-time work to support yourself so you can have the ultimate freedom to design your life. This video is 4 years old now. What new insight or wisdom have you gained since then about life, minimalism, simplicity, etc? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
I stopped refined sugar for like 28 days but now I have dizziness and one day I fainted also why that's happening could you please tell me?
Temporary, Staffing agencies usually make an average margin of 25% - 100% of an employee's salary or charge a flat fee of $15k per employee.
no comparison how you looked before quitting and after quitting.. bunch of BS.....
Full time job is bad 😞I have to see my boss every day.
Putting it out here after the "Fruit is godlike." comment: I don't like fruit. It tastes to sweet for me and I prefer vegetables, not bitter ones though. At the same time I do love a lot of different sweets (European chocolate, Haribo, brownies...), full well knowing they are way sweeter. Yet when trying fruit it always comes down to the sweetness for me, especially with bananas or certain pears. I don't understand it at all.
I get what your saying but in my opinion this does not work honestly in reality. With the way things are and the prices of food or rent going up it would be very hard for someone living in the U.S. to do part-time. The issue here is wage, really even if someone does work full-time with the cost of things it is still not enough to live on. I think your idea would work for someone younger or who has other interests maybe doesn’t have much bills and can meet their basic needs and is fine with that. But the for the rest who have families and taking care of kids or wants to plan for the future with having retirement it is not sustainable to work part-time. There are people who have full-time jobs and can still enjoy everything life has to offer. I think it all depends really on where a person is at in life and their chosen lifestyle.
you are very pretty. like damn
Definitely agree infinite %! Indeed stay beautiful always 🖤
All I want is a watch that can replace my phone. I want to walk out the door without my phone and use my watch for calling, and texting. I think these watches still need to be connected to your phone right?
The biggest flex in life is deciding how you get to spend your time here. Money equals freedom if you plan accordingly.
I just bought my video for day 1.Thank you
I work 50 hours a week, and if I lose my current apartment I’ll be out on the street.
