    Hi Angela! I'm so honored to know that Yay Math will be in your own classroom, what a great feeling. Please feel free to use everything on the site as you see appropriate. Perhaps as I did in Chicago and Atlanta, I could come to your school and meet with your fellow teachers, students, and even parents? Please feel free to get in touch with me directly on RUclips or my email address on the site. Thank you!

    Omg this is amazing. My worst struggle was not knowing where to plug in the two numbers inside the parenthesis and entering the same coefficient in both truly makes it easier. Thank you so much for posting!!

      Also I don't get why so many people struggle with math its literally just numbers that you manipulate to get an answer

      Do after school tutoring, ask your teacher for help, ask friends to explain the things you are confused on, ask you parents for help, etc... There are a lot of things you can do to understand math a little bit better.

    Great video! When I watched one of your videos for the first time I was thinking the jokes were taking my attention a little bit but now I realize it doesn't really... now I am more comfortable factoring and I have an important test in two days. Thank you very much !

    Hey I'm in 9th grade this year and Algebra 1 is not making sense to me. The work I'm doing doesn't tell me to factor the same way you do. I don't know how to choose the right factors. I really need help! Thanks!

    how does -3 and 4 foil to 5x?

    • @NightGraveHunting
      @NightGraveHunting 3 года назад

      (2x-3)(x+4)
      Foiled:
      First - 2x^2
      Outside - 8x
      Inside - -3x
      Last - -12
      All together- 2x^2+8x-3x-12
      Then you add like terms to simplify it as in math you always simplify when possible
      So since 8x and -3x are like terms you take 3 away from 8 which is 5 and you leave the x with it so its 5x

    Them: Yaaay Math! Me: Shuuut up! Seriously, this guy needs to stop fooling around and just focus on the math. That's what we're watching this for!

    • @jasonodell3869

      He does this so people will pay attention if he just talked people wouldn't listen so he makes it funny

    • @allama8255
      @allama8255 10 лет назад +1

      Personally, I think that people come here to watch this video because they're going to listen. He should know that. For this reason, I think that he doesn't have to make it "funny" to make us pay attention. Just saying, he wasted a lot of my, which I could have used on finding a good instructional video, which is what I thought I would get here.

      Qui-Gon Jinn Seriousely, I'm with you there he waste too much time fooling around.

    • @trixiagonzales166
      @trixiagonzales166 10 лет назад +4

      Oh you shut up..the way you complain is as if your paying him to do this...so if you don't like the way his teaching then go look for other videos and don't even bother discriminate others way of teaching instead be thankful as to how these videos are for free

    • @allama8255
      @allama8255 10 лет назад

      Trixia Gonzales I am paying him. I'm paying him with my time. Maybe you enjoy having your time wasted when you're trying to study for a test, but I don't. I don't think anybody watches these videos just for fun, and that's what he's trying to make it. I agree that it's okay to add humor, especially in a subject like math where it could easily get boring if you don't, and maybe that's his teaching style. Fine. But as I was saying, he added a little too much. Again, maybe you disagree. That's my opinion and you're not going to change it. It was a waste of my time.
