I love your class!! I am a full-time mom for years and going back to college (after i got my GED and in ESL class for a long time.) My goal is to get my first bachelor and i was stuck because of math. Every time when i think about going back to college, i was scared of doing a math assignment and thought that i will never be able to get into the class. Your lesson is helping me to such. It helps me to understand math better and i like your style of teaching. It’s easy to learn and fun to watch. As i enjoy watching your videos and learning a new subject everyday, i want you to know that you are helping someone that hate math like me to love math a little more. Thank you so much!!!
I know this is an old question but thought I'd answer. The teacher likes to make the learning engaging, fun, exciting and anxiety free as possible. He does different things ( as I'm sure you noticed) like joking around, sometimes dressing in costumes, and just keeping it relatively stress free for the kids to feel comfortable with not only learning but in asking questions without the general fear that a lot of people get with math lessons. I'm not sure if the bubbles are anything other than something fun and tactile that the kid(s?) can do but I was watching and thinking that it may have an additional assistance in the calming properties of blowing bubbles - if you think about it a person has to breathe a certain way to blow bubbles like these - in hale, long even exhale - which is a good stress reliving breathing exercise. So the short answer to my long educated guess is : they are fun, a good stress relief and something tactile for the kids to do while he is teaching (and not overwhelmingly distractive).
I just thought I'd say that as sad as it is, you are helping a college student pass their college algebra class with you awesome videos. Thanks!
are you know ok, you might reply to this since it has been a around 6 year but, are you now achieving at life?
I have a strong inclination to fix the black spot in your board. I just need it to go away. Lol

huge help for this older new college student. thanks a million!
what happens at 2:30?
I would tell you but I think it's a little too late for that 😂
I like this video, i am doing this to review for my exam and it really helps.
Thanks! Great teacher!
Why didn't you set the first example to 0? Do you always have to set them to 0 or can you just leave them like you did in the first example?
Set to 0 if you have to solve. Don’t set to zero if you are just factoring
Thanks Jacob I had the same question👍🎩
thanks helped a lot :)
What's with the bubbles? They are funny..
