hey vey random request, you don't have to do it , but would you be able to upload a high resolution image of those two fish panels? one for the background and the other for the foreground? all unwrapped that is.
I want to use this concept for an art piece like a small moving background painting. An ideas on the type of motors that rotate that slow? I can prob figure the rest out. Big thanks!
I'm also curious about this, also do you know what film and such you'd use to replicate the fish but with a different image? I was thinking some vinyl onto acetate but wondering your thoughts?
Hey Erik. My motor on mine is working fine, but the LED lights are not working anymore. Would you have a solution to fix that? I don’t know much about electrical output or soldering though :(
It’s the opposite over here- motor doesn’t work- light does It was given as a gift- he’s 18 now - he wants to convert it- I’d like to see if it’s fixable - it looks new ‘til the switch is turned on 🥴
I won't suggest taking it apart, unless you have experience in electrical circuits. But, most likely I will guess the electric motor has failed. Those had the biggest failure rate in my experience. It was cheaper to buy another unit, than to get a drop in replacement motor. A bit of advice, out of the 3 units I have purchased, none of them had a fuse anywhere.
@@erikyater2215hey my motors are still moving on mime the only issue is that the paper doesnt seem to be wedged onto the motors that are spinning. should i try and remove it and slip it into place like u did in the end ?
I think it would be worth a shot. If I recall, I may have applied some light grease to the spindles pivot points as well. It is tricky getting everything lined up, but it all falls into place once you do. @@cinthyadina9893
So beautiful! I wish I could fix mine though haha

Hey I know this is a old video but any tips how to fix the lights? the motors works just fine just the LEDS don’t work
I’m in the same predicament any chance you got to fix it
Found one of these at a thrift shop. I’m in the same boat as yall. Motor works fine, but the LEDs don’t work
@@kingrhythmo9045if u search it here there’s a vid of a guy manually replacing it. Not user friendly tho
I was considering buying a fake tank for my cat too, but looking at the poor quality products on amazon... I might just get a cardboard box
Probably a good choice, cardboard boxes are very popular.
wanting to purchase a tank and replace the image inside is disassembly pretty straightforward? is the risk of breaking the lamp very high?

P.S.
I took it apart without totally dissembling it and it’s clean but I’m by no means mechanical 😳
P.P.S.
The motor works on and off- more off than on 🤔
Hello! Mine stopped moving, do you have any ideas how to fix it? Thank you!
