It always surprises me how different the music taste of each army can be also when we all like the same artists. Because I would have ranked a lot of songs differently but that is just my own taste. My favourite is Yet To Come, it's the best song of the year. I love what it represents: BTS past, present and future that is yet to come. The lyrics & the mv are very meaningful and special for BTS and Army. And now it's Grammy nominated which it truly deserves to win ❤️

jitb and indigo did it for me! they're the best releases of this year and lord they are fucking masterpieces!! i guess im hobi and joon biased bc their music and style just speaks to me. at first I didn't really like the astronaut bc it's not the genre of music i find myself listening to but it's such a dreamy and beautifully executed song and these days im appreciating it more. I'm especially excited for future releases of taehyung and yoongi bc im so curious to hear a jazzy tae and yoongi simply never disappoints

It's super difficult to rank BTS songs, specially that most of the songs have meaning to ARMY and hits right to our hearts. 💜 But for me, I do have my faves in 2022. Run BTS, For Youth, Yet to Come and Indigo album are top tier. 😍
We had some matches and of course we had some huge differences, lol, because even though we are all Army, we're all different people. 😉😊 But what I really want to say is that Boracity Magazine was one of MY very FAVORITE things about 2022. - So, thank you so much for that! Thanks for reminding us of all the amazing content our amazing guys put out this year. And thanks for making me SO proud to be Army. Keep up the good work! Best in 2023 💜💜

When you get that many releases in just one year of 3 years of the pandemic, I don't know why people call me delusional for not hating the English tracks one bit...they never lost their mindful artistic skills or interest due to some experiments...but I shouldn't be expecting better from kpoppies

15:36 for youth is sooo underrated, not so many armys realize it’s a masterpiece! Some armys try to stay away from this song cause the moment jungkook sings “if i never met you” it makes them cry (including me at first tbh). For me, at some point, for youth really evokes emotional-kinda of gloomy side of me which i don’t really want it at times lol if that makes sense. But i genuinely enjoyed for youth now after i could finally not that emotional over bts’ group activity breaks situation💜
The more you listen to indigo..the more you fall in love. It's my personal experience. I liked yun first. Still do . But now I like all songs of Indigo 💜 they just grew on me day by day

Hiatus for 2 years or not ( because of their enlistment ) . Their solo I is making such a big noise to the music industry. BTS dedication to their artistry and great love to ARMY is what makes them the best boy band in the planet. Each BTS member have a lot to offer for their fans because they are just talented. Together as 7 they are DYNAMITE.
Bora you’ve got yourself here some excellent taste. The final version seems like I’m getting a preview of a BTS 2022 playlist. Ranked very well. You have a interesting taste to say the least, some songs you didn’t rank as high were replayed so much for me. My highlights of 2022 in order:
Run BTS, Still Life, Closer, Lonely, The Astronaut, Dreamers, Equal Sign, Future, With You, My You, Stay Alive, Rush Hour, Wild Flower. Just the highlights that were constantly being played for me. Special shout-out to Epiphany demo version & DNA j-hope demo version bc I forgot they were even in the album, now I’ll go listen to them more! 💜

Spring Day v demo ver is one of my favorite like, songs? Line? Demo? I heard it super early into my baby army career and it was one of the things that solidified Tae as my bias there's something about his line that just satisfies my brain in some way I can't understand the melody and the way he sings is beautiful and I love it

I love jhope DNA version, Hectic, and What If was one of my favs as well. JITB & Indigo are just amazing in general. I felt similar of the various L&R versions. Good list. Thanks for sharing!

i commend you for doing this LOL it's super hard to rank bts songs cuz they explore sooo many different genres that it's just hard to compare 😭 but that's one of the most beautiful things about bts i feel
The variety, range and quality of music we got this year is actually mind blowing. I love listening to Change pt.2 and then Arson right after. Run BTS has grown on me a lot and Young Love should have been released officially- its so good.

i LOVE I Need U Demo. It just feels so intense and raw which imo fits the theme of the song perfectly and I don't think the melodies were half bad ( i unironically listen to the chorus on loop)

It's quite fun to see how different genres people within the fandom prefers.
Like I personally are very picky with the different rap genres, because I'm not really into that.
However because of how good BTS is at creating music regardless of their genres, I do listen to music I normally wouldn't really do.
So if I were to do this, while we do have a lot in comment, there also a lit I would change.
Also the Hyundai version of Yet to come is a banger! Sometimes, I mix up the versions, and can't remember what is part of what.
Also the last tie being called On ft. Sia is what I'm living for.
At this point it's probably going to be considered the fandoms most hated song ever. 🤣🤣🤣

Linkin Park is my favourite other band too! Personally, I always feel like I ended up being a fan of BTS because the band's way of doing music felt similar to Linkin Park..except for the sound obviously. Most of LP content are about their music production similar to BTS or at least to me. When Yoongi released D-2..I kinda have a "mini" hope that we will get a Collision Course Part 2 with BTS 🤡🤣🤣🤣

As much as I say 'IDOL' is my favorite, I feel happy when I listen to any song, and believe me, no other artist does this to me, no artist has ever made me so confused about songs. But of course I have my preferences, but they are based on how much I like and appreciate listening to it, not the musical twin, after all, I'm eclectic, so I like everything, but if it doesn't have a catchy beat, whether it's sad music or glad I won't listen to her. And that counts with the lyrics as well, by knowing the lyrics they can also define what kind of feeling I can feel when I listen to it, however, but once BTS breaks me for that, why 'House of Cards' for example , it's sad as hell but her vibe is so sexy. And that makes me confused and worried at the same time about knowing what the lyrics are about, and feeling other kinds of feelings that have nothing to do with the music. I only say one thing, BTS is amazing.
I love all BTS songs. I can't decide which one is my favorite.
I dunno why some people don't like yet to come. Anyways I like it and never skipped until now💜in my playlist

There were a couple things I would change if I was ranking them myself, like I would put The Astronaut in Boraheaven and I'd put Born Singer and My You higher up in the tiers, but other than that I agree with your choices! Run BTS, Yet to Come, Wild Flower, Arson, More, For Youth, and The Astronaut are all amazing and my absolute favourites from this year! I also love With You and Dreamers too, aahhh, we've been spoiled with incredible song after incredible song, it's impossible to choose one favourite. Looking forward to what's to come in 2023! 💜
My biggest secret as an army has always been that Make it Right is my least fav song from them and when I realised that it's one of the fan favorites i've felt so bad about it lol. But now I feel validated, boracity feels a similar way, good to know. (but that part when Jungkook harmonizes with Yoongi's rap tho? i can get behind that)

Same here. Make It Right is one of my least favourite songs of BTS (definitely my least favourite from MOTS era). I felt the same way for Boy With Luv initially, but it grew on me. Can't say the same for Make It Right. I also felt bad for not liking it as much, but I'm relieved to know that I'm not the only one.
I loved Make it right when I first heard it. But the more I heard it , I started disliking it. I realised I found the instrumental really annoying and repetitive , that's the only reason I dislike it , I love the verses of the members, the lyrics and music video. I rarely listen to it but don't skip when it plays on shuffle.
@@OK-nl2gm I guess it's the same reason for me too (there are some songs I like that are repetitive, but this isn't the one). I just think the song pales in comparison to their other songs. Like you said it, I won't go out of my way to listen to this song. But I won't really skip it either if it ends up getting played.

I just love the absolute sweep of genres we get from BTS. Listening to the runthrough at the end you'd never expect it to be songs from artists of the same group. After all these years it shouldn't surprise me, but it still does. I just love them so so much 💜💜💜 and thank you for sharing your ranking with us 👍

I'm late here but you do a really good job explaining your personal choices in an effective way and I really applaud your work that you put into making this list. Everyone has genres that gravitate to but I love that somehow bts are able to make amazing songs that are genres we don't normally listen but we fall in love with. I've had a few songs this year that I liked immediately that I was surprised stayed in the middle for me where I just "liked" them and there were other songs that I thought there good but not the type of song I would listen too normally but somehow found myself loving after listening to them more and more. They did so much this year and it's crazy that the general population will probably not understand that because of massive misunderstandings like we got this year with their announcement of a break from group activities. Like your video before stated they don't understand that they were going to have to take a forced break anyways because of the military, it was unavoidable and they had planned to do this in 2020. I'm glad the members are getting to explore their own interests and music before having to go. I think maybe RM needed this the most after explaining how much pressure he felt and confusion he had about what was best for the group, how that might be different from what his personal thoughts are. I think he just needed the time to breathe and figure it out before he'd have to go to serve, they were way busy these last 2 years and it was a whirlwind for them not to mention the toll the pandemic took. Also wanted to say I loved your "On ft Sia" tier title because it's very understandable. I have a few features that I don't listen to personally that one being a bit pointless (I'm not sure how to say it nicely? maybe underwhelming perhaps) and others could be a "me issue" too but I don't particular care for certain rap features where the lyrics don't match the song at all. I'm aware this may be because they just had the music or beat for the song without any other context that's possible but then again maybe they didn't ask for the context like lyrics or meaning they could have translated by someone as I've seen other great features that do make since lyrically or fit (though this maybe because the bts member was actually the feature and they did their homework to make their verses fit).
