It sounds like you are having a great summer! So sorry to hear about your sunburn. I went to Martinique back when I was in my 20’s. I was so vigilant about wearing sunblock but on the last day I was in the sun and had forgotten to cover my feet. Thank goodness it was the last day - I was so burned on the topS of my feet and lower legs that I couldn’t wear pants for at least a week! Enjoy your time at home and getting back to regular stitching and reading.
Your 12 days sampler is so inspiring and I get so excited whenever you show it! Thank you so much for spending time with me at MidSummer Stitch and love your case!! Your idea to use the covered compartment for ORTs is GENIUS!! xoxo
✈love your "show"-I have the Lavender and Lace ladies to stitch...now I feel a great need to kit one up! Thank you for the book reviews. I was in desperate need of some ideas! Be well.....peace! ☮
Poor Fergus!! 🐈⬛ Girl I KNOW how stressful it is when our fur babies have health issues! I am sure glad he’s okay now. Please give him extra pets from Aunt Meline. ☺️ I am glad your schedule has calmed down, and you can catch a breath. How wonderful that you were able to rescue those gorgeous stitches! It’s like they were meant for you. Thanks for sharing all your fun with us! Meline
✈️. Love your Celtic women art rescue. How beautiful! Cat mom here too. And audible stitch time!! You can’t always read and appreciate good literature but if you read a few mindless books every once in a while you’ll be able to see the difference. Love the kindle unlimited books! Balance is overrated! Craft what you love and are in the mood for just like you do with what you read!! ❤
🛬 awwww!! Best of luck to Fergus (hope I spelled his name right!) that he gets a clean bill of health from his vet and gets to leave behind that cone of shame! I had a cat named Oliver that was diagnosed w FUS and had to have that surgery and it was so touch n go w him at first but he pulled thru, alltho he hated me for a while cuz he needed to be on a restrictive (and expensive! 😭) diet which he did NOT like and let me know it but he had no choice but to get used to it quick! I bet ur kitty is so happy tho to not b in pain any longer so glad u were able to help him out ❤ So glad u r having an amazing summer n r getting to do all the fun things! Happy stitching! 🐈⬛🪡❤️
I feel you on the expensive diet! Fergus is on the same, and it's been a rough transition trying to make sure only he eats the special food😂 These fur babies really put us through it sometimes!
you have been a wonderful insipiration to me. I used to be an avid cross stitcher but over the years arthritis has made stitching very difficult. I won't give it up though I am just trying to find ways to stitch easier. Every time I watch your floss tubes I get so inspired. Your stitching is just beautiful and I love to hear about things going on with you(and your cat). I am old now(77) but i plan to stitch some how til the end of my time. thank you susan
Brigin I so enjoy you! Your stitching is impeccable & you get so much done. Do you think you could mention if a pattern you are stitching is Aida friendly? I only stitch Aida & that would be VERY helpful. I also LOVE your book talk. Thanks so much! ❤️ ✈️
Hi, thank you! You know, I'm not really much of an aida stitcher and there are a lot of things going through my head when I film, so I can't guarantee I'll remember, but I'll try! As a rule of thumb though, I think all patterns are aida friendly unless they've got a lot of quarter stitches or over one stitches! So as long as a chart doesn't have those you should be good to go!
Spring was the first of the four seasons that Marilyn Leavitt-Imblum designed. She also did Noel Celtic lady and, afterward, did the other 3 seasonal ladies. There are pages out there dedicated to various interpretations as far as colorways and hair colors, etc. for the seasons. The purples that Marilyn used were developed by her and, I think, are no longer available, although there are other colors that will come close, I'm sure. Just wanted to drop a little info about the celtic ladies...and Marilyn-Leavitt Imblum, who was the owner and designer for all three of her lines: Lavender and Lace, Butternut Road and Told in a Garden.
Very interesting! Thanks for sharing, as I had no idea. I have a 15+ year Lavender and Lace Angel of Hope unfinished WIP. She’s gorgeous…but I doubt I’ll ever complete her.
✈️ Fun video! Loved everything you’re working on, and so excited for you on your estate sale find!! I read Funny Story for my book club. My first time reading an Emily Henry novel, and now I want to go back and read all of her books. I recently read an article about her. Unlike most authors, her books sell so well that her publisher does not require her to go on book tours. Emily credits much of the popularity to the artist who designs her book covers-they tend to draw shoppers in.
Wow you are so lucky to find those pretty ladies at a Estate Sale. So glad that you saved them. So sorry your cat had surgery. Hope he feels better soon. Love all your progress on your projects. Happy Stitching.
Omg! Love your estate find!😍 they are fabulous! Your wips are coming along! Hopefully your cat makes a speedy recovery. Thank you for sharing! Happy stitching!✈️
Thanks for the video visit and sharing your projects and estate sale finds. Sounds like a fun but busy time. Hope the cone can come off of your cat soon! ✈🌴📘🪡
Your Celtic ladies are exquisite! What a beautiful find for you. The matting is so unique. Don’t you wish you knew a bit about the stitcher? That would be great. Progress on your projects and your books was so good! Happy stitching until next time.✈️
Welcome back. My husband and I recently got back from visiting England where I also read Funny Story in between sightseeing. It was also my favorite Emily Henry book so far. I have been re-reading a big series (20 books) that I think you might enjoy if you run out of ideas. It is the Amelia Peabody series by Elizabeth Peters. I will say that the series gets really good in the middle but then peters out at the last few books but they are a fun murder mystery series centered around egyptian archaeology. Get well soon Fergus. 😿✈
Great video! You're so lucky to have found the celtic ladies! I'm glad they went to someone who appreciates them. Question for you-- did you have any issues going on the plane with your embroidery needles and scissors? I've had embroidery scissors confiscated at the airport before and I've been nervous to fly with anything sewing related since!
I feel really lucky to have found them! So I've taken embroidery scissors on every flight since I started stitching and I've never had an issue! Now, I do have TSA Pre-check so that makes the TSA process a lot easier, but on my flight back from Turks and Caicos I didn't have any issues! I've linked for you the ones I fly with, they're super small blades! www.amazon.com/Pieces-Scissor-Scissors-Portable-Embroidery/dp/B0CJ4ZDRTM/ref=sr_1_4?crid=D2I6OBG2DDFZ&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.xwHp1U8trubAmMCFU781DC-wMHhFsqNDgCUXoqh3uPbY99PP6z7Rbl86efoBNSE0hZa3fhoqwRwy37T-QVGjGv_9WVV9cJWs579bZdi-otDXNEKPdTKXJkKxoPBNB06XTZPNoGnvsC1GWHIMjMxoN-Gd4gmy6QOIYIroFpJ41ApNlGmaafV1om_VXd7JgZje1qdpQmI97kv-5GAG2zwUFaYlrCBOLvgja45UaOoXTIUntw3MMRCTVb40gPNUu0oF_wwRD7B7Kyt0tpy0nkuIF07t6pwBrvPlr0tJR_a2LfY.eZE_cUU8JtjTzZXOdyp1TIAxJzej2TbyleQdmW1oRcA&dib_tag=se&keywords=short%2Bembroidery%2Bscissors%2Bpink%2Byellow%2Band%2Bgreen&qid=1724446324&sprefix=short%2Bembroidery%2Bscissors%2Bpink%2Byellow%2Band%2Bgreen%2Caps%2C134&sr=8-4&th=1
🛩️ The stitched pieces you got from the estate sale are amazing! So beautiful! I am not into stitching fancy ladies at all, but I would definitely hang those in my house if I found them. It sounds like you have had some amazing adventures. This month my husband and I went to British Columbia and spent 10 days there. I brought stitching with me. It was challenging stitching on the plane but I was able to do it. It does pass time nicely. I was able to visit The Stitcher's Muse in Ninaimo on Vancouver Island. It's fun to visit a needlework shop when traveling. Hope Fergus is totally back to normal soon.
I also find stitching on the plane a bit of a struggle, I was only able to do it because the middle seat on some of my flights didn't show up and I got to spread out, lol!
@@TheMuseumStitcher When we went to Canada last month my husband upgraded our seats for the long flight home. It was nice because there is way more stitching space in 1st class. Totally worth the extra money. One flight I was stuck next to an aisle sleeper that kept using the arm rest. I was totally stitching scrunched up.
✈️ your days of Christmas is looking gorgeous 🤩. Amazing estate sale finds! When you say DND do you mean dungeons and dragons? Because I've been watching people play to fall asleep at night and I'm so jealous. I don't know a soul that does it but I want to try it so bad. 😅
I do! I had a friend I was watching live play with who invited me to join a campaign one of her friends was running and it's been so fun! Finding games is really hard, it took me about a year to find a group!
Oh no, poor Fergus. Fingers crossed he has good luck with his cone.
And wow, what an estate sale find!
Glad Ferguson is on the mend. Glad to see you back ✈️
Hope Fergus was able to get his cone off and is completely on the mend! Lovely stitching like always! ✈️
✈️🐱 hope everything is OK with fergus! Loved hearing about books again 😊 happy stitching!
Happy you are back. I hope Ferguson can get his cone off❤✈️
Those Celtics ladies are beautiful. Good find.
Oh no, Fergus! What a great estate sale find!
You really scored with the estate sale pieces! They are beautiful! Great video!✈️
Good to see you! I hope Fergus is doing better! ✈
✈️ enjoyed your video while waiting for my flight to board. I know you’re happy to get back to normal.
✈️ Great video. Best of vibes to sweet Fergus!

I just wanted to say no one wears blue like you do! Gorge!!
Also, I don’t mind admitting my jealousy of your estate sale find. What a score!!
Thank you!!
Your 12 days sampler is so inspiring and I get so excited whenever you show it! Thank you so much for spending time with me at MidSummer Stitch and love your case!! Your idea to use the covered compartment for ORTs is GENIUS!! xoxo
It was seriously so fun! I've got my second one on the way to make a smaller one to keep at work! Such a fun idea and your class was great!!

BEST ESTATE FIND! I'm so glad those pieces went to someone who truly appreciates them!! ✈️
So good to see you back. Sick kitties are the worst! Your Celtic Ladies are an incredible find. Your stitching is amazing as well. ✈️
What an amazing estate find!! I noticed that behind you right away! I'm not a big mat user but that added a lot!
I'm not a big mat user either but I agree, on these pieces it's amazing!

What a lucky duck! 😊 thank you for sharing your beautiful finds and work 😊

✈So happy to see a video from you pop up! Love that you were able to save those stitches! And now you get to enjoy them!
Love that estate find. The way the mat is on the stitching is terrific. Do hope Fergus can drop that cone. Love all the reads. ✈🛩
Love it when stitchers save & cherish work from others ... and GO Grandpa!!!!! Love at any age warms my heart.
I have summer done and am working on winter at present. Love these patterns!
I was eyeing those Celtic ladies. I didn’t make it to the estate sale, but I’m glad they made it somewhere they’ll be cherished!
Hey cousin! Just wanted to say how awesome you are and so glad to be able to see you and your mom for Grandpa's wedding celebration 🎉 love you ❤
Aww you're too sweet! It was great seeing y'all too and love you!!

✈️getting ready to fly to DC tomorrow
Great video! You really scored on your estate find! Also love your Pink Sparrow sampler. I finished mine right before StitchCon this year.
✈️ ✈️ Thanks for sharing
You are so lucky to find all those ladies. I am jealous.

I do, but all I know based on the estate sale is that she was married to a firefighter! Happy stitching to you too!
I also have many hobbies that I love and it’s hard to fit them all in. But audio books are great while I stitch or knit or crochet or needlepoint 🛩️
Thanks for all the inspiration! At. Midsummer which room were you hosting? I had technical difficulty but enjoy the finish parade the best! 🛫
My friends and I were hosting one of the flosstuber zooms on Saturday night! It was a blast!
Cam enabled me to get the Weeds and Wildflowers kit. 😂😅
It's such a good kit!! I think she's the one who told me about it in the first place😂

Traveling would be so much better without the actual ✈! At least you got some solid reading time!
Does mark up rxp have a fee associated with it. I loaded it and loaded patterns used it and went back in and it is asking me to pay?
There’s a free trial and then yes it’s a paid service.
