The letters and questions from customers are so cute! Maybe you can do a series where customers share their journal pages or handmade cards, or other artwork/crafts that are made with your products.
I used to use the backing card from sketchbooks as a makeshift pencil board before I knew what pencil boards were 😂 Since discovering them via traveler's notebook I've begun to DIY proper ones now. I also have a collection of mildliners, a clutch pencil, tombow fudenosuke soft brush pen, and stickers. Lots and lots of stickers
I have a question about life at JetPens: I tried to use a Jibun Techo last year as a planner, putting in my appointments, etc. Eventually, I gave up using it to know where I *needed* to be, instead just tracking what I did retrospectively. The issue was first, my schedule changed a lot--meetings getting canceled or moved. This meant I could only really do the Techo in pencil, and never really got to do anything neat. I also needed to have my schedule visible to others who wanted to schedule meetings with me. Put another way: I had to keep my schedule in my company's Outlook. How do y'all work at JetPens? It makes sense, being stationary lovers and "eating your own dogfood," you'd use paper planners. But do y'all also use some online calendar (like Google Calendar or Outlook) for planning work meetings, or is the corporate culture such that paper planners are the default?
We do use online calendars at work, especially for meetings. That way, if something changes, everyone on the team can see it! We use our paper planners for our own projects, keeping track of our tasks, and other things that only affect us and not the team.
Today I learned that shitajiki isn't for protecting the page from the hand... (Especially a big problem for pencil drawings). Edit: to elaborate, i have only seen those japanese limited edition art print plastic sheet versions of them.
I use a lot of cutesy and colorful sticky notes in my planner, and I add a little dab of the glue tape-runner to secure the sticky notes if I want them to be permanent.

I love that you read people's letters! I am hoping you will carry sticky notes that are ...oh... about 7.5cm by 2.5cm. I go through them at work, they are just big enough for notes, and long enough where I can overlap them to create layers of stages of projects I am working on. I would also be interested in case prices for pens, because then I could rationalize buying pens for my team at work. In any case, I remain your devoted purchaser.
I'm not generally interested much in the Washi tape, mainly because I just don't have a use for them, but the Solar system one caught my eye and made me think I'd probably be all over one if it had that antique, old world map with a compass design on it. Love that old world travel aesthetic.
Like Connie, I am left handed. I also like wet inks. Blotter paper and a pencil board are musts for me, for both my planners and my journals. The BGM and MT washi tapes and flake stickers are also high use items. So are the Mildliners. I use them in journals, planners, coloring books, coloring my sketches, highlighting my Bibles and Bible study guides.
So many cute things.. sticky notes, blotter paper, writing boards, solar system wayside tape.. I just ordered, and I’m going out of the country so I’ll load up my cart for when I get back ✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽

My favorite stationary is now so hard to choose, ive bought so many things from JetPens and theyre all so great! But recently i gifted my partner the compact Midori kit and they LOVED it, especially the lil tape dispenser asking me to buy them some more for back up and seeing Stephanie's choices with the cool lil kokuyo tape dispenser i think ill get them one of those to try!! I loved everyones way they explained their favorite stationary, Ann's was so cute, so excited! And loved the extra tip to trim the post it back card to carry easier lol thank you again and it was so sweet how you shared the letters! Hope you all have a great day
Great video as always! 🙂 Planner go tos for me are mildiners, Sonic Nano Pita ruler and triangle (the no slip feature is a total win 🙂), Mark’s perforated washi tape (I like the Pop pattern), dotliners, Clean Color dot markers, BGM clear tapes, and Pilot Juice 0.38 mm in various colors.
.7 Pentel Energels! I color-code my to-do list by urgency (red for urgent) & category (orange for health, green for procurement/financial, purple for recreation. I also use a sticky note to hide all but the 1st few to-dos so I don’t become sidetracked or overwhelmed.

Thanks to JetPens, my pen collection has grown drastically. However, I use mainly three pens - a Pentel Energel .05 in black for planning in my Hobonichi Cousin, a fountain pen for journaling in the daily pages of the Hobonichi, and my Peanuts gel pen for on the go. I also use mildliners and washi tape.
I don't have a journal *yet* . I'm planning on ordering the Raymay Decona binder from you guys though 😊 I am a lover of all things girly and extra 💖 I'm going to use it as a journal for my knitting and crochet designs! I'm excited because I'll be able to keep my scissors and ruler in the pocket, and I think I also *might* be able to clip in knit swatches into the rings of the binder itself! I'm excited to try it out 😊 I like to use graph paper so I can chart out lace/cable designs, and I like to use my Frixion highlighters so I can highlight every other row to keep my eyes from getting too confused. I'm planning on ordering more Frixion pens because I always mess up, but I love writing with pens 😅
Thank you ladies for sharing your favorite stationaries. You all really have great penmanship. I love JetPens and it is my "one stop" for all my stationary needs. My favorite stationary for the moment would be the Pilot Vanishing Point Fountain Pen - Gun Metal - Rhodium Trim - 18k Fine Nib. I'm using it everyday to learn/practice Chinese characters. The other favorite would be the Kokuyo Harinacs Stapleless Stapler. I would not know about this fantastic stapleless stapler if not for JetPens video. Thank you so much and please keep sharing all the juicy goodies at JatPens. ^_^ Oh, and, thank you for the reminder, Ann. I'm gonna get me some of those juicy looking Suatelier Planner Sticky Notes. ^_*
I use the hobonichi for planning and daily sketching and i do my writing/drawing with a pilot kakuno or pilot falcon and splash color with sailor shikiori markers. Since my fountain pens usually have waterproof drawing ink, I do have to say that THAT ink (Platinum Carbon, SketchInk and DiAtramentis) DOES bleed through tomoe river paper, moreso if you write/draw slow or if you use a lot of ink in one spot like if you use a fude nib or broad nib fountain pen. I think next year's Tomoe River paper improves on that, but I keep forgetting to test the sample sheets.
Ok, I’m going to need to know about that cosmic pencil case that Stephanie pulled out at about 7:35. Is that based on the Starry Night painting? Do you all sell that?

Some of my must haves are shitajiki for ALL my planners/notebooks, Zebra Sarasa MarkOn 4.0 pen, Iconic 2-way highlighters (retro colours), Kitta washi tapes (so handy!). And a thin washi from Round Top with li'l icons for the weather ☀️☁️☂️ which you sadly don't seem to carry any longer. 😭 Going to have to find a substitute for it.
Hello Jetpens, I wanted to know about the 'Uni Jetstream Edge' as I am willing to buy it. But I am worried because what if the pen feels scratchy because of it's 0.28mm nib size. So,can you please tell me that will it feel scratchy or will it glide through the paper smoothly. I hope you read my comment,Thank you
Hi, it is definitely not as smooth as 0.38 or 0.5 mm! We recommend trying the 0.38 mm Edge instead of the 0.28 mm if you are worried about scratchiness.

I’ve love the Zebra Mildliner markers too. I’ve also learned to highlight first and then, write on top of the highlighted section.
