It's so sad how Damon and Stefan have come this far, only to be reverted back to where they started, Damon being bad and being hated, and Stefan being good. Damon has tried so hard to win everyone over. He's turned his humanity on, off, on, killed people, stopped killing, felt hope and love, fear and sorrow, grown as an individual and eventually become a better person. It just seems like all his efforts are being thrown away :'(
this song remind me the time Damon returned her necklace and kissed her forehead, but he compelled her to forget. Now she is a vampire, she will remember everything happened between her and Damon, and the moment they first met. She met Damon first before meeting Stefan. I was so sad when I watched the season finale last night, she should at least give Damon a chance.
...and that's EXACTLY why she should be with Damon. It's because Damon will do everything, even if it's against her will to protect her, whereas Stefan follows what she wants. He didn't know she had vampire blood in her, he allowed her to die to follow her wishes.

I can never choose between damon or stefan, they both love elena but show it differently. Stefan was able to guide elena through her sadness(cause of her parents) and managed to show her what true love really is. On the other hand, damon is the wild side of love ready to do everthing as long that elene remains safe.. what can i say? TVD for life! Hahah

When he was reminiscing on that moment i remembered the very words she said on the phone "I don't know Damon, maybe if I'd met you first." i cried myself to sleep that night. It didn't help when Alaric started to die in his arms and the realisation struck him. ~ ok now i am crying as i write this.

@courtneyg07 and the salvatores didn't think about how bonnie felt about having her mother turned, they only thought about elena hating them. bonnie is used like a tool sometimes because she is the witch with all the power, and sometimes people don't seem to take her feelings into account or think about her... it's sad.

@courtneyg07 no, she allowed damon to give caroline the blood. damon would've done it anyway. she didn't hate caroline and elena, she was just upset and confused and tried to take out her pain on them and others. who can blame her, she's a witch, she's supposed to hate vampires and now her best friend has just been turned into one? it's not like she hated caroline forever or tried to kill her. she was just shocked and hurt. that's humanity
@courtneyg07 she said it was awkward because jer is elena's brother. elena's not gonna be really mad him is she? they're family. so bonnie can't talk to her about it because elena can't understand, and she can't give an unbiased opinion.

Absolutely love this song, matched the perfect scene. The Salvatore brothers will always be there for each other but with one weakness, Elena. It's sucks that Elena turns down on Damon time after time... Regardless, The Vampire Diaries never cease to amaze me with back to back great episodes.
Damon is her real love! he loves her like a human and like a vampire not like Stefan! Damon is her future!and yes she remember all the moments with Damon and he was firt, who she met!

what really annoys me is when people say why did elena choose stefan? because you know what. she chose him because she fell in love with him first. and even though she realized she started to have feelings for damon she never stopped loving stefan. stefan shows a different type of love to her. he is caring and does whatever he can do to protect her. he always does what she wants not what he wants. where damon, he is selfish and will only protect her and not care what happens to the other people.
@courtneyg07 Obvs bonnie found it hard to turn her away but if your mother got turned into a vampire because people saved your best friend then it would be hard to find comfort it them! she was just making it easier for herself and elena. caroline explained it all if you wanna watch the scene again.
i get it if you dislike bonnie's character, you can't love everyone, but hate is a strong word when bonnie hasn't done anything wrong...

@MusiicRoolz And when Jeremy cheated on her, Elena tried to be nice and told Bonnie she could still talk to her about it and that she too was mad at Jeremy for what he did. And Bonnie said no she wouldn't talk to her about it because Elena wasn't actually mad. It was just like she had to choose being Jeremy's sister or being Bonnie's friend. I dunno, just the way I take her character!
