@@adamdavis1737 Just my point. As a game, Diablo 3 is not worse than Diablo 2, both are repetitive loot-hunts, but Diablo 2 was... more or less dark fantasy, now we only have Dark Souls as a dark fantasy franchise, but in their time, Diablo was one of the best examples of that kind of atmosphere. I think Diablo 3 just needed to recapture that dark fantasy feeling, now it's late but we can hope for Diablo 4.
One of my fondest memories of playing Diablo 2 was back when I was 10, I finally reached Diablo, I was an idiot and had no idea what a build was, so I summoned Diablo and when I saw him I was so scared of him I kept warping back to town and resurrecting my mercenary and my golem hoping they would kill Diablo because I was too scared of him. After like 50 warps and some 2 hours later I, er, my mercenary, managed to finally kill him. One of the most depressing moments I had was when I died, then I equipped some junk items to get back to my corpse, and as I grabbed my corpse while in a room with 3 Super-uniques, all of my corpse's items got thrown onto the floor because I forgot my inventory was full and I had those junk items equipped. I then immediately died, and thus lost all of the items that were equipped on my corpse. I turned Diablo 2 off and didn't play it again for another 5 years.
I had a similar experience. I did have a idea what a build was. but chose to try summoner necro. as level 26 or so summoner reaching diablo for first time he just insta killed all my minions leaving me to slap him with my wand
My worst experience was get to level 89, my dad giving me two eth colossus swords with some runewords in them and then getting hacked. A year of experience down the drain. 3rd grade me cried like a baby, but honestly when you work so hard to get something and someone hacks your account, it's devastating to a kid that has had barely any accomplishments in his life.
man, when i started with diablo and played my assa on single i could go through andy, although she is very bitchy and agressive. duri was very tough, originally one of the worst enemies. but i was really scared later when i faced mefisto :D and diablo was an other story. i was not ready for him and i was slicing him so long :-)
Try making it to level 99 in hardcore with a sorceress, thousands of hours killing cows, Baal runs, and mephesto loot runs. One week into being level 99 my brother logged onto my account while I was sleeping and got her tele zerked. That was the same day as my birthday I got to wake up and see the ghost of blood sweat and tears. I found the guy parading my ear around and dueled him with my level 86 barb who was built for dueling. Let’s just say my 2 zerks we’re stronger than his 3 (only way to prevent chicken hack from letting him slip away). I still quit the game shortly afterwards because I knew I would never find a real soj again.

And uh...if you haven't noticed..most people that play a game for multiple years/decade...usually take breaks, few months here, few months there, off/on for multiple years lol...its quite common a few MILLION gamers have played certain games for VERY long periods of time, with breaks here n there, have you been under a rock ? this isn't abnormal.
@@Itzsfo0 don't worry dude I did the exact same thing as you. D2 is the greatest game ever, countless hours of enjoyment from just one title. No micro transactions. You can just build a MF sorc and go find rare shit. It would take months of searching to find really good items. D3 is the worst thing ever no PvP, music sucks, no sprinting, graphics look like shit I hate it. I started it and within 3 hours was bored. People trying to level me up to 70 and do rifts over and over again for ZERO fucking purpose.
Great video to begin your adjustment!!! You are capable of providing an in-depth analysis of gaming and Games THEMSELVES. I don't know how the rest of the community feels but I would love to see you begin to analyze games that were the roots of different mechanics and stories we see or miss today. I would love to hear your take on Bioshock, Fear, shadow of the Colossus, Crysis, Half Life games from the earlier 2000's or around 2010 where a lot of their mechanics have been unfortunately been left behind due to lesser focus on story and atmosphere. I hope the community understands that your adjustment will take time and even some of the negative videos or mentions of current trends at least are still needed. All the best!
Ah Diablo 2 hunted my dream during elementary school I must say D3 is kinda too casual and lack that scary atmosphere *Path of Exile is indeed spiritual successor of D2
nah PoE has surpassed D2 at this point. I've played it since the beginning and there are tons of items I've never found and bosses I haven't been able to kill. Not to mention trying to get a perfect version of an item is insanely hard. Then you have the races, and different leagues, and flashback leagues that incorporate past leagues, there's just way too much stuff for D2 to compete with at this point.
sorry man... its just nostalgia... D2 was a disappointment for me, you can forgive D1 for its flaws as its atmosphere and theme were superb.. also being a technical marvel at its time. D2 was just inferior even having years and years to improve over the original. Also there is no excuse of how broken it was on release... how little actual end game build diversity was available. Sure it was patched down the line... just as D3 was. You see those 2 have more in common you want to accept. Again when you are as ground-breaking as D1 was and being the first of its line... I can be more forgiving of its flaws. on D2? not really. I remember clearly one of my first characters to reach higher difficulty settings... I was astonished of how many enemies where 100% immune to 90% of my arsenal, so you have to start over and avoid mono elemental at all cost... why? just because. Terrible, terrible design choices where made. so broken.. took so many patches. While i played diablo 1 first release and without having to remake any character i was able to play it from start to end... no issues... great atmosphere ... it was made good the first try. Something D2 will never have.
@@klaussone lol what..? You could easily beat every difficulty with 1 char/build no matter what immunes you run into. I've played d2 since release. The game has only improved since then, up until uber trist
A gaming experience like this only happens once in a lifetime. I've been playing it since ~2003, first only barbarians on single player and LAN, later I learned how to play online and fell in love with trading (this basically showed me how a economy and stockmarket works). I thought my D2 days are finally over. But guess what, friends wanted to give D2R a go and I bought it too to help them out, and it STILL is as captivating as ever, despite having played modern hack'n'slays. This is one hell of a game.
because it is perfect in everything, music, sounds, font, texture, playability, special effects, realism and originality, history, and history again ... because it also counts as it is shown to the player ... has no weaknesses, every time you live diablo you're sure there's nothing in diablo that does not belong to the diablo world ... even the objects had a history and an explanation ... everything was classified, everything was an immense chaos of an event that happened and that changed the world ... the death that has taken place on humanity ... it is simply a work of art in the videogame world
When one falls it just leaves room at the top for another to rise. IMO, Grinding Gear Games have definitely risen to the challenge, and their game Path of Exile is definitely a worthy successor to D2.
Downward Thrust Partially, was talking more about their stunted growth. Blizzard today is all WoW and Hearthstone expansions, nothing new to be excited for.
8:24 "Sharing had no definition back then" I disagree. I gave out even good loot to complete strangers who I met and who didn't seem to have anything decent. I had so many mules full of usable stuff and I realized I really didn't need all of it... Especially for people on country channels I gave out lots of good loot for my countrymen in Finland, and I boosted alot of them for no gain for myself. This led into meeting many people who I have met personally IRL and who I still play different games with.
Hah, I was on the receiving end of a person like you XD I logged in online for the first time, said hello and got spammed with about 30 relic items for level 99 characters at level 1.
yeah especially the space restrictions made people give away the low stuff. and it's fun to help low chars with your hell char, you feel like a true hero, and to them, you are :D
Great video. Lots of nostalgia. But I would like to add on one more point and that is the loot system in D2. The drop rates for Unique Items were abysmal, but when an unique item drop, you know exactly what are the stats going to be (minus the min - max roll). Hence each item ,whether it is a low / high roll, it is going to worth something. Also a lot of the unique items (whether it is low level or high level gear) have a use. Meaning most unique items out there can be used in some sort of build. This is what made all those countless Mephisto/ Diablo/ Baal runs worthwhile. It is the sensation of the rewarding feeling you get from all those hard work. Now looking at D3, one of my major concern is there are too much RNG within a Unique Item. Depending on the RNG, the unique item can be an absolute beast / worst the trash. And further add on to the fact that Unique items drops like candy hence making the item doesn't feel unique at all. PS: I remembered back during my early high school years, sneaking out of bed, turning on my PC and start playing D2. Clicking each key carefully to ensure no one hears I'm up playing. Spent the whole night farming Mephisto. In the end, he drops an unique Crusader Bow. I felt so happy, it pretty much made my day.
when i was around seven me and my dad would play diablo 2 and would play for hours on end. people always told him i would be violent from playing such a dark game and that i needed to focus on reading, however, diablo 2 helped me learn how to read, every time i would pick up a item i would read it and that’s how a game about killing a demon overlord helped me read 😂
single player man here checking in. Everyone talks about how easy D2 is... well on single player with no trades, infinite SOJs, teammates or Ladder runewords the game was quite a challenge. No My mercs runeword wont break immunity haha. I should go back and try to finish with the characters I never beat it with. Single player for life
You are not the only one. I loved playing single player. I have to say though, that when I started playing in lan with my bro/friend, that was a hell of fun and an incredibly amazing experience. Just the two of us, sharing the story, the travel, no cheats, no bullshit, just us and the game. Good memories.
I had my share of Diablo III, it was fun for a couple of months. My demon hunter tank was my favourite build. Seeing people’s reactions when I tanked Diablo taking every hit to my face without dying was a pleasant experience. Then the auction house opened.
It's truly astounding how complex and balanced this game's mechanism is. One will need a PhD level of understanding to master all classes of character and the music, graphics... it is diabolically perfect. This game really hacks in to human psychology. Way the item drops in a randomised fashion is just ingenious because that's exactly why gamblers get addicted. I would love to meet the developer one day... so many questions.
:D Me too. i play it with my parents they loved diablo 1 and 2 and when we beat it on hell and defeat uber diablo (hardest and secret enemy in diablo 2 who has level 107 and you can have only 93.) we will play Diablo 3. On hard.... because Normal is too easy. When you play as crusader his ability of ghost rougues is so OP I defeated Diablo in 1 minute
He covered the replayable aspect of d2, the great expansion pack, the addictive yet rewarding loot system, the many flawed yet charming mechanics, the incredible social experience, and the commitment to characters that other games have yet to replicate. some people man...
I was just discussing Diablo 2 with my brother, who is currently playing D3 with some friends. The immersion that one is able to achieve in Diablo 2 is nothing short of phenomenal. To this day, I have yet to feel the dread I felt when I first saw Andariel, or when I was undoing those seals and just waiting for Diablo to one shot my Necromancer back to the Pandemonium Fortress. I lost years of my adolescence to that game, and do not regret even a second of it.
Interesting. I had the same thoughts about Diablo 1. When D2 came out I was very disappointed with the graphics, it didn't look nearly as creepy/gloomy as D1. Great game anyway :) And yeah D3 can't even compete with D2 when it comes to the atmosphere.
Bart Mamzer the instant I became hooked was when I first heard the Butcher call me "Fresh meat". Then a kind gamer told me to light a firewall and shut the door. 😎
Hardcore is the only way to play D2. Players in hardcore were WAY more friendly, because giving corpse loot permissions to a friend was the only way to avoid losing your stuff when a random MSLE in Hell instantly fries you. This created natural trust and camaraderie. I did many Mephisto and Diablo runs with strangers that became friends, and we always traded who got nice uniques, never fighting to see who could pick it up the fastest. I only once had someone keep something from my corpse, and never stole anything myself. I did lose 5 fully geared characters over level 70 to internet connection loss, which finally led to me quitting, but the memories are still great nonetheless!
played Diablo 2 since it was released back in year 2000, i only finished my first character thru Hell mode just a few days ago! (I achieved it w/ my least favorite char, Druid) now I got a charm to sunder Fire resistance so i am now planning to finish it w/ my favorite char, Wake of Fire assassin.
I still play Diablo II (and Diablo I) until this day, but I'm a solo player, I have tried playing online but, to me, playing alone is the best way to enjoy Diablo II (and Diablo I) since, for me, the best part of a game is its art direction and in order to feel all the atmosphere, soundtrack, graphics and dialogues, you got to take your time and play it slow, something that I wasn't able in my online experience
Uh. I played Diablo 2 actively from the release in 2000 until 2013. I still play it now, just not as much. I've never once used maphack. Anyone who has played long enough knows all the maps and even if you don't, all you do is follow the walls. The classes were also not balanced. Many of the skills were completely unusable, especially in PVP. You could win in duels with just about any character, but the best by far when getting rid of skill is the hammerdin. I actively dueled every day for over half of my life as a hybrid Necromancer though. You didn't need anyone to play with either. Almost the entirety of my time playing was spent on dueling and I did so by myself. Best way to get people to duel was by using a game title like "NVA 1V7" which was always my game title. Cheaters also didn't make dueling hard. People that were actually good at the game mechanically still beat cheaters. It was extremely easy to telestomp desync as a hybrid Nec and kill anyone in the game regardless of whether they were cheating or not. Whilst you're right about no one wanting to share items it was never a problem for me. I started playing the game before I turned eleven years old. All I cared about was that I was able to play. I never went for items. Even after playing for several years I wouldn't go for items. The only time I ever picked anything up was when everyone else finished and went to town or if I was in my own private game doing runs. Diablo 2 also isn't one of the best games ever. It is the best game ever. ^_^
My friend introduced this game to me back in 2002 or 2003 he pronounced it as "Die Ablo 2", I fell in love with the game and it took me several years to realize how its really pronounced.
Yeah i just got back to it since a while. I only play single player and started off with a Sorceress. I'm currently lvl 55 on Nightmare act 5. And am destroying the monsters arses. Using maxed Frozen Orb, Chain Lightning 11 and Thunderstorm 5. I spam right and left click and the whole screen lits up with magic. Then everything's dead in seconds. lol Can't wait to reach Hell difficulty. I wonder if i'll have big trouble with immunities.
most people used a map hack because everyone else used it so you were at a huge disadvantage if you didnt. i never used it for single player tho that would ruin the fun.
Just how many games released when D2 was released are still being played as much as D2? Maybe Starcraft. Can't think of many. D2 is still being played when D3 has been around for a decade. It will still be played when D4 comes out unlike D3, which will quickly die out.
Yes man I still play D2 original on my 233 MHz 1.9 GB ram running on windows XP offline. Old faithful because my pc never goes on the internet. Just for diablo 2 ,Warcraft 3 frozen throne, and NES snes sega genesis around 2000 games. It’s a gem 💎
I remember my parents hiding the internet router so I couldnt play during the night. They hid it under books and I found it and hid it back in the place and went to sleep at 4 or 5 am..
This is the type of content I subbed for. I can hear the passion for this video in your voice, and its a breath of fresh air. I enjoyed this video, even though I knew nothing about Diablo coming into it. If you continue to make content like this, you will certainly succeed. Also, a question: (if you see this) Have you ever considered making a discord server? It would be, in my opinion, a great way to interact on an even more personal level with your viewers.
I will say, I do appreciate the change in format and approach. Thank you for slowing down on clickbaiting and pursuing more passionate and positive reviews. I will be watching more of your content in the future.
My older sister showed me this game when I was like 12. I was HOOKED. I have kept old computers alive just to play this game over and over it’s SO GOOD.
9:27 Seeing the item art really kicked me back down memory lane. I used to know the name of so many of the game's items, as well as their model. And even though it was such a simple thing, the Kite Shield still looks so ridiculously beautiful that I lament the lack of any similar looking items in most modern (MMO)RPG's. Gods, I'll have to find that one mod again that kept the game as is, but simply upped the item droprate. Good times, would play again!
Some of the points you made are exactly why I love Path of Exile. A game definitely made by people who loved the original Diablo’s but unique enough to be great in its own right.
Great episode. Like yourself I spent many an hour in the Diablo 2 realm. Raiding Tal Rasha's Tomb, building that perfect Hammerdin and trying not to get stuck in the Maggot Lair. It's still perhaps my favorite PC game of all time.
I've made so many characters before I made my best ones, a Frozen Orb Sorceress and a Werewolf Druid. It was amazing and exhilarating to discover those things with the friends I've been playing with. We all discovered them together. It was one of the best experiences ever. Those were the times.
I just started doing a play through of D2 lod after a long time of not playing. The first thing I found is it was like riding a bike. I peddled away starting my new character today. It brought back so many memories. The simplesity of this game for me is what made it shine. Dueling in 1v1 was like rock paper scissors. Team dueling was the best ever of any game for me. More RPGs should be simple and make each hero or character just like this game did having another build weak to another one. Good video!
I think the game holds up a lot better than you think it does. Now that we have the resurrected version with millions of people still playing, it will continue to hold up for the new generation.
I still prefer Diablo 1, i love the atmosphere there and the soundtrack is on point, everytime i play it i just can't stop... but diablo 2 is good too tho
@@arth8265 I agree, the player have way more choices and freedom in diablo 2, the respawn of enemies actually give a grindy option too if you are into it, still i find it a bit dispersive sometimes
yeah, there's something about the simplicity of diablo 1 that takes you back, along with the dark music (=industrial it's called) and places. like a sort of "everything's gone down the gutter," sort of solitude. but yeah diablo 2 has way more fun stuff
If you want to play an AWESOME Diablo style game that releases new content in the form of expansion packs (even tho they are still called DLC on Steam...) for an absurdly cheap price (at least compared to your average AAA game nowadays), you should try Grim Dawn. It's an indie game that releases more content in their expansion packs than most "complete" AAA games at less than half the price, I am extremely hyped for their 2nd expansion coming in 10 days!!
D2SE Solo Self found- finally built my infinity a 2% off perfect Ed eth Thresher. Working on my Enigma now. Unfortunately I forgot how bad bows suck and built a Faith prior to making Enigma. The experience of obtaining all the items and rune words myself has been the absolute best gaming experience I’ve had in at least 10 years. Still searching for the ever so rare Eth titans and Griffon’s eye. The feeling that overcomes me when I see a ultra rare item or rune is pure adrenaline.
I used to spend up to 16 hours a day in my childhood playing D2. It truly is an addicting game, and why I cant play anymore aswell. If they remaster it well gg to my adulthood.
I played Diablo 2 recently. I was really astonished and delighted to discover my saves of assasin and sorceress saves. You really right: this game has some kind of magic! The only game I like more than Diablo II is "Heroes III". What a great time: Heroes 2 or 3, Diablo 2 LoD, Warcraft 3! Goosebumps on my skin!
You know what I found the other day? My old diablo 2 folder! I almost shed a tear. The story is, that I didn't have internet connection for a long time and I kept going to the local small library where the nice lady printed out many things from various diablo websites for me, so I can read them at home. Runewords, strategies, builds, list of unique items and sets, etc. I kept the precious documents in a white folder. Not soon after we got good net at home and I can finally play online. But the tome of wisdom still exist after 20+ years.
I remember playing D2 using my tri-elementalist sorceress for hours on end. She used frozen orb, lightning, and firewall. The limited number of points you could use to allocate towards skills along with synergies made this a weak build. I could play up to p3 without trouble but it was fun for me. I just loved the fact that nothing was immune to her elemental attacks. I really miss this game.

My fondest memory was Andariel :P
Did anyone else tell their very christian mom that the game is all about hunting demons so it's perfectly fine to play it?

@Red Divinity phew I only played for 10.
@Red Divinity I know alot of people who played it for 12 years, myself included
you are 100% incorrect, nobody has severe mental problems
even if they did, why do you are
you die regardless, who gives a shit
most gamers play games for multiple years, decades even...see it every day, and they are just fine
you are 100% wrong. but thats ok, believe as you will.

a few MILLION gamers have played certain games for VERY long periods of time, with breaks here n there, have you been under a rock ? this isn't abnormal.
Doom and D2 in my case, been playing both constantly since I have memory
Ah Diablo 2 hunted my dream during elementary school
I must say D3 is kinda too casual and lack that scary atmosphere
*Path of Exile is indeed spiritual successor of D2
Path of Exile now looks more like D3 .......same end game crap...D2 still the best for me
nah PoE has surpassed D2 at this point.

Hands down best game I’ve ever had the chance to play. Music is so amazing. Skill trees- random drops- not perfect items- music. It had it all.
This is one hell of a game.
because it is perfect in everything, music, sounds, font, texture, playability, special effects, realism and originality, history, and history again ... because it also counts as it is shown to the player ...
has no weaknesses, every time you live diablo you're sure there's nothing in diablo that does not belong to the diablo world ...
even the objects had a history and an explanation ... everything was classified, everything was an immense chaos of an event that happened and that changed the world ...
the death that has taken place on humanity ...
it is simply a work of art in the videogame world
Sorry i said bad things about you before.

Nice video. Diablo 2 is a perfect gem worthy of imbuing into your leisure time schedule. Sad to see Blizzard fall so far from grace.
When one falls it just leaves room at the top for another to rise. IMO, Grinding Gear Games have definitely risen to the challenge, and their game Path of Exile is definitely a worthy successor to D2.
Thanks! I wasn't all that happy with D3, either, if that's what you are referring to.
D3 was a fine game, but it didn't feel like a Diablo game at all. I guess that's what happens when Blizzard try to make everything hyper accessible.
Downward Thrust Partially, was talking more about their stunted growth. Blizzard today is all WoW and Hearthstone expansions, nothing new to be excited for.
Marc Shanahan no it's not, The Witcher 3 obliterates everything
Diablo 2 .. just seeing it makes you want to play it again no matter how much time passes.
Hah, I was on the receiving end of a person like you XD
I logged in online for the first time, said hello and got spammed with about 30 relic items for level 99 characters at level 1.
yeah especially the space restrictions made people give away the low stuff. and it's fun to help low chars with your hell char, you feel like a true hero, and to them, you are :D
@@Jolly123123123 sharing is caring, now with D2 Resurrected you have many opportunities to return the favour :)

Am i the only one that played D2 for the Single Player experience and story? Always did so, couldn't care less for online.
TheXiconhoca you just might be..

No My mercs runeword wont break immunity haha. I should go back and try to finish with the characters I never beat it with. Single player for life
East...always East.
You are not the only one. I loved playing single player. I have to say though, that when I started playing in lan with my bro/friend, that was a hell of fun and an incredibly amazing experience. Just the two of us, sharing the story, the travel, no cheats, no bullshit, just us and the game. Good memories.
Diablo and diablo2 had very good atmosphere and music. There were many other old rpgs with longer and less braindead gameplay and better story.
The nostalgia is real. Those nights playing until the sunrise, most of what you said here is shared feeling man. Nice vid!
Who else is here after they announced the remaster?!
Boy what a remaster it was!
I broke my mouse hand about 10 years ago and while it was healing in a cast, I played Diablo 2 every day with the other hand :D
Perfect. More like this please!
Next one should be, why is Diablo 3 a pathetic attempt at former glory.
Fenixz Filip its really fun but not diablo enough
Fenixz Filip diablo 3 is the spinoff online version of diablo 2
Which failed to deliver on every single point. To this day, there is still no pvp in diablo3
I had my share of Diablo III, it was fun for a couple of months. My demon hunter tank was my favourite build. Seeing people’s reactions when I tanked Diablo taking every hit to my face without dying was a pleasant experience. Then the auction house opened.
Fenixz Filip I liked 3 but then again I didn't played 1 & 2
RIP to all deceased Hardcore characters lol
It's truly astounding how complex and balanced this game's mechanism is. One will need a PhD level of understanding to master all classes of character and the music, graphics... it is diabolically perfect.
This game really hacks in to human psychology.
Way the item drops in a randomised fashion is just ingenious because that's exactly why gamblers get addicted.
I would love to meet the developer one day... so many questions.

"Why is Diablo 2 great?" "I made a bunch of friends and had a great time"
That's uuuhh, that's not a useful conclusion for anyone who isn't you.
Most of us had the same experience as him imo
Great game anyway :)
And yeah D3 can't even compete with D2 when it comes to the atmosphere.
Bart Mamzer the instant I became hooked was when I first heard the Butcher call me "Fresh meat". Then a kind gamer told me to light a firewall and shut the door. 😎
R Jonboy I was always trapping him behind the fence and killing him with a bow :)
Somehow d2 can't touch d1 as far as immersion. Much like the old oddworld games, seems like game designers were inspired to make art with their game
My mom used to find my D2 disk and snap it in half... I would always buy it back again, every single time.
Ive only just discovered Diablo 2 resurrected at the end of 2023. I love it.
I liked how finding a certain piece of gear would inspire me to make a new character and build it around that piece.
The Amazon Basin was a HC D2 group with thousands of members playing in passworded private games, all based on trust. Good people, good times.
played Diablo 2 since it was released back in year 2000, i only finished my first character thru Hell mode just a few days ago!
Agreed. So much nostalgia. I'm playing resurrected now and it's great!
Diablo 2 and StarCraft raised me.
Great video! Finished Diablo 2 the other day for the first time. So many great memories playing this gem of a game.
Then everything's dead in seconds. lol

most people used a map hack because everyone else used it so you were at a huge disadvantage if you didnt. i never used it for single player tho that would ruin the fun.
Why would you not use map hack when your teleporting for the 999999999 time to mephisto. Only dummies wouldn't use map hack
Just how many games released when D2 was released are still being played as much as D2? Maybe Starcraft. Can't think of many. D2 is still being played when D3 has been around for a decade. It will still be played when D4 comes out unlike D3, which will quickly die out.

Great video, i probably spent thousands of hours in Diablo 2 and LoD.
I'm now on a watch everything diablo-related after Diablo : Immortal's Debacle. Just installed D2 again.

Welcome back!
Diablo 2 is the best game of all times.
no, no we all do not just use maphack, you hack
I still prefer Diablo 1, i love the atmosphere there and the soundtrack is on point, everytime i play it i just can't stop... but diablo 2 is good too tho
Yes, Diablo 1 atmosphere was definitely better, but Diablo 2 gameplay was a lot better.
Preach, just came to this from a grim dawn binge

"Yet its legacy rests with only three games."
Ah yes, Diablo 1, 2, and Path of Exile.
I really miss this game.
still play this in 2019! in fakt i just played yesterday ;)
one of my most loved games ever!
