this ending is oh so beutiful....
and it always hits me right in the feels
I realized, the title fits the ending so well. Sora no Kiseki can be interpreted to mean either 'Trails in the Sky' or 'Miracle in the Sky'. It's a Japanese pun. In this ending, the dragon and Estelle's father trails in the sky to create a miracle in the sky.
All the title is pun, if you try to put it....
Yeah, after playing the first game, I was like "what part of this has anything to do with the sky?" But the second game made it clear.
Trails In the Sky FC: = mostly happy go lucky JRPG with a serious ending.
Trails in the Sky SC: Prepare tissues because this game doesn't fuck around.
Trails in the Sky the 3rd: Star door 15 = Get numerous tissue boxes.
You don't cry to star door 15. Instead you get stunned and cannot say a thing.
Nothing gets me crying like a lil bitch like the scene on the goddamn pillar. When Whereabouts of Hope kicks in it's G-fuckin-G, I'm bawling my eyes out.
SAME. Then Where the Bonds Are plays and I just absolutely *lose it* Q-Q
I just beat the game minutes ago and honestly that didn't really hit me at all. The one scene that did was when they're at the beach, Whereabouts plays and I could barely hold it in. Then Joshua loses it and so did I :')
Does anyone else want to see Joshua and Estelle's bit and the final cutscene fully animated in HD? Like, Reverie quality? Honestly, I'd settle for just that scene fully done.
Sad moments begins in 0:21 (It also interchangeable whenever picking these 2 with exception of Estelle & Joshua)

That's my favourite part about this scene. A little nudge towards the future games.

I cried because i forgot about Ragnard... and they showed that the airships weren't going to help...

I know its late but thank you, my game got black screened after me staying up much too late to finish and I would have went to bed pretty unhappy.

Loewe's death scene was really nice, but honestly, fuck this game on hard, these boss battles get just too long and tiring.
Last boss took me almost 2 hours in a single battle to beat.
BTW after hearing the game OST, at Loewe's departure scene with Joshua (0:30) the song that plays is called Hamel, which is a new track from SC and not some rearranged FC one.
And that's why you should never play jrpgs, especially turn based ones, on harder difficulties. These games rely too much on rng and stats. The only games I enjoy being difficult are action games where you're completely at fault for getting rekt or pvp (even though lag can screw you over sometimes)

This ending was so rushed and lame. I don't care how much hate this comment gets, the ending sucks, especially for a JRPG of its length. People calling it the greatest JRPG ending ever clearly don't have a lot of experience with JRPGs.
Tales of arise had of the worse BS I have seen in a JRPG in its ending.
DQ11 was pure nonsense for the 2nd half of the game and the 3rd act was just stupid.
FF7 was just nothing
FF7R was not a ending
FFXV has 3 ending and 2 of them not cannon, two of them are messy attempts at a happy ending and the other despite being the ending of the game is not cannon and is just pure sad
