Well this was an awesome view flying in! Also amazing was how quiet the regular loud plane noise was but we could still hear the wing flaps go up and such. Very cool! What a gorgeous day to fly in! ✈️
Glad you enjoyed it! I appreciated the cloud-free views of NYC on the landing
The flap actuator motors are mounted to the wing structure, and the sound gets transmitted through the rest of the airframe. It’s like how you can hear things in the next room by putting your ear against the wall.

Lovely clear day. Back in 1988 we flew into JFK from the UK for our onward flight to Denver. Unfortunately l got mixed up and instead of going to Newark we got on the bus to La Guardia. No problem, the clerk booked us onto the AA flight from La Guardia to Denver immediately. A pity we did not go to Newark because the journey goes thru Manhattan rather than Brooklyn and Queens. I wonder if the airlines would be so helpful today.

Microsoft flight sim looks so real that at some parts I was convinced this was in game. I knew it was real but certain parts of the video, if you showed me them out of context I would think it was MSFS
