Hi, I’m from the government and here to help. Scariest words you could ever hear!
🤣🤣🤣. Got that right
These SAR groups aren’t wrong, services like this will be more effective if they remain decentralized. Look what happened with our provincial 911 service with eComm. Mandated by the provincial gov to do all call taking and dispatch under one(two actually) roof for the entire province. All the local emerg service call services left their police detachments and are all dispatched out of east Vancouver or kelowna, what followed was mass turnover of lifetime dispatchers, lower overall professional experience of operators, low morale, staffing shortages, and records set for unanswered emerg and non-emerg calls province wide. To a point where municipalities are now facing huge potential upstart costs to bring some of those services back under their own control to fix the issues. Typical government trying to solve problems that don’t exist to justify their own existence.
The Liberals screwed this one up and the NDP not fix. YET.
They could just mandate experimental medical procedures and fire a ton of lifelong experienced workers.......bye bye ndp
that "Registration" by February will undoubtedly come with a lot of extra requirements and upgrades.......for volunteers. Six million spread over all these groups??? That's nothing. And "volunteering" is a fast disappearing trait . Don't make it worse.
Where did the missing $ go?
Further investigation is required
These people are volunteers, they are NOT government employees. The Province of British Columbia needs to get out of the way and allow these brave guys to save lives.
The change of the ministry name obviously isn’t the problem, it’s not new, neither are the staff. This is something we should all be concerned about.
It should not have come to this point in the first place, so there shouldn't be a need for a sit down!
"30 miles away with a 10 meter accuracy"
Impressive capabilities AND mixing of units
Did Eby initiate his own applause from that group sitting behind him? Hahaha
A government agency newly created in oversight - throws a tantrum because its an infant joining the adult table.
🙄 Nothing will go wrong
all the services are like that in BC. Its bullying and they lie a lot and say "its not the law not to lie" disgusting is what they all are.
We need that Premier we had no say in getting to do what we expected when we didn't elect him! Slipped that dork right in the side door, hey?
Please give overview of how climate disproportionately impacts women, ty.
Ha, the government help? Y'all have been sniffing glue or something.
Lol Dwight Yoakum 🤠
It's pretty sad that the government is willing to spend money to save Canadians lives but have no issue spending and giving money to immigrants and foreign countries . I used to be proud to be Canadian and now it's starting to get embarrassing.
You should review some of the most basic concepts of Canadian politics...
Healthcare, and thus Search and rescue, are under provincial jurisdiction.
Immigration is under federal jurisdiction
The funding of both the things you stated are completely unrelated, no matter if what is done is good or bad.
In my province (Québec) we don't have Search and rescue services as those in BC since our province doesn't invest in it. If it was Federal, all provinces would have similar services, which isn't the case
@@PatG-xd8qn Quebec doesnt' HAVE these services? What does it have??
When is the public going to realize that it costs alot of $ for these organizations and their operations. Too many incapable people who go on treks that they shouldn't have and end up in a poor situation. These #'s are growing. You put others lives in jeopardy when they have to rescue you.
STOP MAKING STUPID DECISIONS
Have you met the average human 😂😂😂😂
