Mountain RESCUE equipment used for Climbing Incidents | ROPE RESCUE gear for search & Rescue

The team responds to rescues on the various crags in the area and has to be prepared for many kinds of incidents. In this video mountain guide, climber and team member, Rob takes you through the more technical elements of the mountain rescue kit, which is specifically designed to help climbers.
One of the most popular climbing regions in the country is the Peak District. The area has many classic climbs and routes, with some of the top climbers in the country starting their climbing careers here. The sport is one of the safest, that being said it does come with its risks and the Buxton Mountain Rescue, along with colleges from Edale Mountain Rescue respond to help fallen climbers throughout the year.
