Nice question, First thanks for watching my video. In this topic meaning of moisture is water vapour (H2o) which is gone into the system due to some unavoidable reasons and liquid refrigerant means R-22 (chclf2) chlorodifluoromethane. So there is difference between moisture & liquid refrigerant. Drier is installed before expansion device and it contains silicagel which can absorb only water or water vapour (H2o) so when mixture of refrigerant (chclf2) & water vapour (moisture H2o) passes through the drier only water vapour (moisture H2o) is absorb by drier and liquid refrigerant (chclf2) is passes to expansion device. Only water vapour (moisture) is absorb by silicagel in drier because silicagel has only affinity towards water vapour and not towards refrigerant (chclf2). Now question is that why only moisture or water vapour is removed from refrigerant (chclf2) because freezing point of water (moisture) is higher than refrigerant (chclf2) so when mixture of liquid refrigerant (liquid chclf2) & water comes out of expansion device water will freeze at outlet of expansion device and that ice will block the expansion device to avoid this problem drier is installed before expansion device which absorb only water vapour (moisture) and passes liquid refrigerant to expansion device.

Better you write in place of Damper is volume control damper and in place of canvas cloth you can write (flexible cloth )
