It really is playtime Linda...once I'm infront of the canvas I forget all the rules and just have fun! It's all the pre-thinking that can trip me up! I'm working on pieces for my solo shows in 2024 right now...music blasting and enjoying the heck out of it! Thanks for hanging with me!
Saturday morning with Denise...love it. The plaster has me intrigued, you know I love texture ,but the smooth approach combined with those papers is very cool indeed. I really like that it combines well with the paints. I enjoy the irregularities and colors peeking through. Very exciting that you have solo shows coming up, but I am sure lots of work too. Good luck with all of it.
Hi Ina...this plaster os so nice to work with, you ought to give it a try! I have a whole series in mind to use it with...though finding time right now is at a premium! I've know about this show for several month...why do I put things off for so long!
