- Watch me struggle to make slime for 10 minutes! This version of the Sorcerer’s Cookbook includes a Chloe doll so of course I had to get it! It definitely seems like a lot of the budget for this set went to the cookbook and the recipes instead of the doll, which totally makes sense. I really hope that Mattel releases another version of this Chloe’s outfit because the printed on details are definitely… something. Do you prefer Chloe’s version of the Sorcerer’s Cookbook or Red’s version? 🩵❤️

I did a little research and this is probably Merlin's book in the movie cause he was the previous headmaster
as someone who loves making slime, this doll is right up my alley! i def want both the red and chloe cookbook dolls!
i wished the cook books had backgrounds of their rooms instead of instructions, like the Ever After High Lizzie Hearts Book, having the plastic book be her bedroom

The first time I've seen pictures of the doll, her outfit gives me some ZOMBIES 3 vibes (which is weird 'cause I still didn't watch this movie yet!). It's cool that it is in 2 pieces though. I think it supposed to be some outfit that Chloe will wear in the past (I have some theories). Her head is really beautiful! I think her hair is much closer to the movie version than the Core doll version.

oh yes this outfit definitely looks a lot like addison’s z3 alien look! i think i prefer this chloe doll though because the hasbro addison doll has extremely awful hair quality 😭

Yeah I’m not a big fan of the slime either. But I believe this is supposed to represent the Sorcerer’s Cookbook that we see in the trailer.
I really think they marketed this for kids and not doll collectors because as you said you didn’t have the time to make slime just to get to the doll itself.

Idk why but I love big gimmick dolls like this, especially when it’s a storage/crafty type of gimmick. Don’t know what I’d store in there but I still want the Red one

I looked on an Amazon review of this doll and they said the hair is Saran. But they could always be wrong. Hopefully their right though.

yes actually i would! it wasn’t a lot of fun to do the recipes because i had to stop and record them, but i think its overall pretty fun and the doll (although not the best quality) is cute!

Though am I the only one who find these extra features ridiculous? Especially knowing that the Descendants dolls were meant for all ages not just for 5 year olds. Hasbro never would have done this wired slime gimmick
i think it’s alright! i didn’t enjoy doing the gimmicks while trying to record them, but it was still fun!
