The face and the hair are stunning... while the clothes are a bit disappointing. It was kinda expected since how complex her outfit is the movie. At least, Mattel did separate pieces for the clothes and gave some plastic accessoires in order to give some dimension to the doll and not seems flat and empty (like Hasbro did with the last DD dolls! 👀). I didn't noticed the bracelet too! Nice surprise. Will you paint her belt and the boots to make them look like the movie version? PS: Love the reference to "Born To Be Brave" ! ;)
i think this doll is a lot better in person! of course it’s not ideal that her outfit is lower quality, she’s still better quality than most hasbro descendants dolls 👀😭 i don’t usually alter my dolls (unless i buy customs) so i don’t think i’ll paint any of her accessories. i’m glad you liked the reference hehe 😂❤️🦑 it’s my favorite song from hsmtmts!

I don’t know if this is going to be the Disney plus performance of the century. I think that title went to the guy who plays Loki or the girl who plays Scarlet Witch or the girl who plays Ahsoka. But then again I never liked High School Musical and prefer Disney animation, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, Indiana Jones and now apparently Ice Age for Disney properties and the only Disney channel projects I watched is anything based on the movies like Tangled, Lilo and Stitch, Little Mermaid, Lion Guard, Monsters at Work, and Winnie the Pooh for example (I still haven't seen the Aladdin one, Star Wars Clone Wars/Rebels and Big Hero 6 the series), and original cartoons like Sofia the First, Elena of Avalor, Ducktales, Moon girl, Kim Possible and Phineas and Ferb. Descendants was the only live action Disney channel thing I ever got into due to the characters, story and the connection to the animated Disney movies, so I never saw her in action and can’t really judge.
It will play on Disney Channel for an encore presentation. However, it will actually air on August 9th rather than in July. So, you will have to wait for about another month.
