This is probably the best scene I've seen in any movie tbh
I saw this movie in 2009, this scene is played in my mind so often.
......They are all reactions! One thing begets the next.
A man has a weakness, he is flawed. That flaw leads him to guilt. The
guilt leads him to shame. The shame he compensates with pride and
vanity. And when pride fails, despair takes over and they all lead to
his destruction. It will become his fate... Something's gotta stop the
flow. The girl needs his father and we are going to deliver him
superb!!!
I love this sequence..so amazingly done, beautiful infact. The film is outstanding.
I know this is literally a decade later but the director of this also did a smaller short film called Spin (about 9 minutes long, on youtube) that's along the same lines as this, thematically. Really cool sequence. I'd look it up if you want to see another take on this kind of cinematic theme.
@@happyninja42Never too late! I will check it out, thank you.
People who have seen this know I'm not insane when I walk around all day counting "1 2 3 4" over and over.
Awesome. I do the same as a Pathfinder: 1 2 3 4, 1 2 3 4... One thing begets the next. Something's got to stop the flow.....
Even now, this movie is still beautiful.
The Stop the Flow sequence is one of my favorite in the movie. Pure poetry. "ink" caught me by surprise as I had not read any reviews before viewing. For a low budget movie "ink" is as good as they come in the use of allegory and creative composure of the story arc. It's a ten of ten in my opinion. Just awesome!
The almost amateurish Indie movie look of the film plays into the main theme. I don't know if it was on accident or on purpose, but it's brilliant.
This scene is the proof that everything is based on action and reaction. No such thing as "luck" or "random events". It's just awesome.
It the reality principle of causality.
When the student is ready, the teacher will appear. This movie showed up in my life for a reason, as I'm sure it has for others as well. Amazing film. =)
This is my favourite scene from a movie pretty much no one's ever heard of. Thank you for posting! I
I thInk i heard of it. A destiny vs control tale is rarely tackled so directly.
Jacob is my favorite too 💓
This is my most favorite movie, I would marry someone who also loves it.. hint hint. 🙃
this is still one of my favorite sequences in a movie..
Brilliant movie! Beautiful soul in the whole idea and concept!
This film is a diamond in the rough, i love this movie!
This is the scene that made me fall in love with the movie.
I love this scene, truly an awesome movie. One of the most unique scenes of 'synchopation' I will ever recall in a film of any kind. An absolutely fascinating turning point in the film. I'm still awestruck after having just seen it.
I saw this movie yesterday, had never heard of it before and I thought it was great. Imaginative and original. This scene in particular moved me with its fantastic music.
A lot of symbolism was put into this movie that most people can't comprehend . I may be young , but I'm not stupid . This movie really touched me and I wish I could share my insight with the rest of the world , but they won't listen . It gives me goosebumps because we're really no in control no matter how hard we try to be , we're all just a part of a plan waiting to happen for a bigger picture ..
High concept interdimensional fantasy with time travel elements.
Its beautiful
One, two, three, four...
It is one of the most beautiful movies I've ever seen
Best scene EVER!
Best scene in the movie.
Amazing.
I really love this scene, and the whole concept of the movie.
Beautiful, it's a Masterpiece.
this gives me goose bumps every time I see it. Its so amazing!
Saw part of this film in school, went home and watched it and fell in love with it and this part is my favorite
This is BEAUTIFUL.
Everything falls into beat... i love jacob... hes such an awsome charicter
so much can happen within 60 seconds, that you wouldn't realize how long it is.
@FSXISCOOL
The movie was created to have a dreamlike feel, so they used a filter to create that look. It's not an image quality problem, it's artistic design.
Best Scene of the movie.
This is one of my favourite movies, and this scene might just be it’s crowning jewel.
Soundtrack/ Score is great too! In fact, that’s how I found this movie. The score by Jamin Winans has a song called “The City Surf” that song was featured in the final scene in the movie “The Grey” (the one with Liam Neeson and the wolves). So I went to iTunes to find the score, noticed that the song I wanted wasn’t on the soundtrack. Did some google searching which led me to this movie Ink.
Long story short, the Score was the reason I decided to sit down and watch the movie because I can remember thinking “of the score is this good, I bet the movie is good too”
Same here!
1 2 3 4
this is definantly a change from all those freaken evpensive other movies..awesome movie, great soundtrack
This is my favorite part in the movie!! Good film, loved it!
I love hos Jacob's super power is Disaster Dominoes.
Yeah I smiled so big when he said that, hes pretty awesome
In such a great movie with many memorable scenes it seems almost a crime to name a favorite but this is mine.
My favorite scene in the movie. Loved it.
I like this moment!!! Now this is my favorite movie! If your life it's music, whole the world as the beat...
"-But I can hear the beat.
-The beat?
-Beat of the world.
We're all part of a song, I just hear the music."
This movie really did change my life in a great way... and The character who did it was Jacob... I look at myself as a Pathfinder... this scene made me cry but opened my eyes so much... Great Movie.
Great Scene thanks for the upload
This is awesome,
I like what he says before this scene about fate
i wish it was the entire scene, but absolutely amazing none the less.
I found this on one of the horror movie sections on my fire stick and I absolutely love this movie and the concept of it
This is my favorite scene in this movie.
this was my favorite scene in th whole movie
The counting is so hypnotic
Amazing how - even now - this movie falls into one of two camps. People that have never heard of it, and people that love it.
just watched the movie 5 times
I understand why. "ink" is just awesome on so many levels.
best movie ever!
Awesome! I loved this scene! thnx for posting!
LOve this movie
Everything is caused by something before it.
@Gneisenau i know, same here, sometimes it's in my head, sometimes out loud, but i'm almost always doing it now. :)
A movie that you never forget.
great movie :) awsome soundtrack :)
Everything has a knock-on effect, like a domino effect : One thing begets the next. Something's got to stop the flow.
Pathfinder... ;o)
ONE TWO THREE FOUR...
ONE TWO THREE don't die !
I love it ^^
Thanks, I just finished watching the movie and came back looking for this scene:). Oh. My. God.
the heartbeat of the world... who is to say it doesnt get excited he just had to tune in.
awesome scene! finally found it! thanks for posting
I forgot to breathe.
Flow is real.
@lovelust97 my thoughts exactly! I'm sooooo glad my friend told me about this!
perfection.
1,2,3,4 hmm. This film proved that even the universe bends backward toward itself, where 1 and 4 can exist at the same time.
BEST MOVIE EVER!
I love the way this movie, especially this scene effects me. The chick picking up the flowers is an added bonus also, she's hot!
I have begun to thin of the small moments in my life and the lives of those around me as links in an infinite chain of wounder.
The downward spiral is essentially a chain reaction. One thing begets the next. A man has a weaknesshes flawed. That flaw leads him to guilt. The guilt leads him to shame. The shame he compensates with pride and vanity. When pride fails despair takes over and they all lead to his destruction which will become his fate. Somethings got to stop the flow.
the beat!!
@atomikmindfu The movie did touch on that. Ink almost condemned his daughter to damnation, just to numb his pain, and hide his guilt. You missed the main theme of the movie.
He kind of reminds me of like a chaotic neutral twin of the "god is a DJ" guy.
YES!
Amazing scene from an amazing film! I just watched it, and I am utterly floored! Fucking Beautiful!
5 people only know what they have become, and not what they are meant to be.
Explains good
How awesome is this movie?
It's not a pizza box, it's a ream of copy paper.
Amazing a small cardboard box of pizza can feel like hitting a speed bump.
@ThornBoyz2207 It's called butterfly effect :)
@atomikmindfu Your second sentence inspired a song out of me. I figured I should let you know that you were the cause.
best movie hmm 4/5
Only if I was really high and i'd still probably wouldn't even consider it.
yes!!!! hahahaha!
@KillerPikmin Well, that's not what I meant. I do want to watch it, but I'm wondering why imdb didn't give it a good rating if lots of people think it is so good. I guess what I really want to know was, is it the music, the plot, the script, or the cinematography that makes everyone like it?
@megarog5 Haha! Me too! Well, ok, only four times, but still... lol ;-P
Amazing film. Do you think Jacob is Destiny?
i fucking love this
why does everyone who sees this movie love it yet almost no one has seen it or talks about it? confuzled
@starwyvern010 Right there with ya!!!
Mine too!
@pollicus No. In his first scene he trips on a branch. I don't think the embodiement of destiny would have such problems. Would explain alot though.
I love the power but I kind of wish this video had their "Dude... Just Dude...." looks afterwards at the wreakage.
ONE TWO breathe FOUR
ONE TWO THREE don't die
The music is in 4/4 time....1 2 3 4.
@bbblueman23 yeah it was with that one guy who can predict peoples movement and killed the people who tried to make him unsmart again...pretty damn awesome
@flameknight23 It's on hulu...
Check out the reverse video we made of this sequence.

i’d like to know who the girl is that picks up the flowers😍
