Interesting, but did it replace the old one or was it included? I imagine that in a match can be summon the female or male, same for paladins, demonhunter, archmages and others...
There is a chance for the female/male to be summoned as far as i understood it

I'm a woman. I prefer the male death knights. I don't mind if there was an option or if it was randomly generated. Like the hero names in multiplayer, but if its solely female heroes? Imma get real bored real quick.

@@brutalis88 Why can´t there be more female variants? We can play as a female dk in wow, and we are most likely still going to get te og DK on reforged as well. For me it´s a win win situation. And about the Warden, lorewise there can only be female ones, so it´s not a fair comparison.

I can still feel the horrific male version in the background, his lines, the sound effect, BUT she is too good to deny, I wonder if you can have both or being male or female happens randomely, but I'm happy with this slight change.

Question: the skirmish DK will always be female or is it random and sometimes you get a male DK and sometimes a female? I dont mind if this gorgeous lady is the defacto Dk but Ill kinda miss the old male voice
In skirmish will be always female. Only in story mode will be arthas. I think....

I'm kind of confused on the change, but okay. If I can choose whether my DK hero is male or female, that's nice, but the change doesn't make sense. I mean, it doesn't affect gameplay, only being really cosmetic, but I don't see a need for the sex change.

When I played Undead Scourge I usually had Death Knight, Lich, Dark Ranger, and Crypt Lord in my battles...

Honestly there will be many fans disappoint with swapping gender, Death Knight and Demon Hunter such as Ladyboy in this Reforged. It's a very lack idea from Blizzard. If the reason just for distinguish Arthas with default custom game Death Knight, why don't they bring the model looks alike WC2 Death Knight? It's looks cool and scary the Death Knight with red veil and dark face, compare to big boob Death Knight with blue lipstick. I'm sure Blizzard must be consider about this, please make an option to use default male Death Knight and Demon Hunter. Or latter give some update patch for male models. And if Blizzard don't care about it, please some fans make a new 3D modding model and old voice of male version, replacing the female ones.
Keep in mind that it's a coin toss, we either get male or female models for it, same goes for the demon hunter with the night elves
Nothing datamined for male Dks or Demon Hunters. Honestly I'm more pissed about the fact Blizzard can't just give us a straight answer for the change. If you want representation then why not do it for every hero that doesn't have a reason for the change? There's plenty of female Archmages and Paladins for Alliance. Farseers for Orcs could be female.

I don't mind a female DK. My WoW DK has always been female, in fact. But I don't like *this* one for a few reasons.
1. Boobplate. I've always hated that kind of design. Its atrocious. Its impractical. It's just asking for a sword to the cleavage or neck.
2. The axe. She isn't even using it in her attack animations (though that will *probably* change). Not to mention that I'm fairly certain dual wielding DKs didn't come about until the 3rd generation of them at WotLK, during which we also got other races and the blending of DK and lich magics (blood, frost, and unholy).
3. The female. The DKs of WC3 are former paladins. All of them. The Silver Hand during the Third War is at minimum heavily implied to be only men. This is the last reason because I cannot guarantee that's the case. Or it could be another thing retconned.
But I'm also still mad that none of our liches have been orcs from Ner'zhul's council.

@@TheThehenrique1100 you serious? That's cause WC3 couldn't have two models for one unit (female and male DKs). Lore-wise and in WoW there're many female Death Knights, as Scourge raised any worthy warriors (including all Paladins they could get their hands on, both men and women).
@@J_Warral Yes I am serious about the original wc3 lore and the game also had no women dks nor was considered to have at the time but to please the female audience blizzard decided to implement women DKs that a few years later. So we must follow tradition only men will be death knights as it was so in wc3.
The voice acting of the old death knight is way better and has more anger in his voice. This is just meh.

Female DemonHunters makes sense too since men and women of the Nelf society followed Illidan's footsteps and he clearly didn't care about gender when he trained them either.

Equality? Did you even Play Warcraft 3? Let's see, Night Elves - their whole society is divided into roles both genders fulfil. Males are druids, females are archers, keeper of the grove is male only, Warden is female only same with priestess of the moon. Human army - only sorceress is female. Undead - dark elf ranger and banshee, unless I forgot something. Orcs - only males.
See, where I am going? Besides, we already have got great female protagonists - Jaina, Sylvanas, Tyrande just to name a few. I dont need forced gender change because Blizzard is trying to appeal to snow flakes such as yourself.
Women joining Wars...? - You are an absolute moron. Nowadays and back in medieval Times there were almost no female warriors. Not only they are physically inferior, but if a Man dies women can still have children with someone else, but if woman dies that's worse.
Illidan - one, keep your filthy WoW fanfiction to yourself. Two, demon hunters existed in Warcraft 3, read a bloody manual. Three, get woke go broke - look up how well did Terminator woke fate score.
