I love this as well! I was pleased to see several black cats being protected. They are often abused. I pray all the kitties get adopted or at least have a permanent home at the cat spa
Thanks it was another lovely video. It's so good this cafe has rescue cats to give them a chance at a good life. I visited a cat cafe in my hometown and adopted one of their rescue cats in 2016. Unfortunately the cafe closed down last year but I have my fur baby to remind me.
I have 3 Cats who all found me... First. Appeared in my life at a time when I needed to care for my life. My love and care for the 3 gave me enough love to continue living.
I live in Philadelphia in the United States, and it always blows me away how incredibly clean Japanese cities are. It clearly doesn't take any extra effort to _not_ graffiti up a wall or set fire to a garbage bin...it's baffling. Would love to visit this cat ryokan. 💞

love this concept! in america, many cat cafes are associated with shelters, so you can adopt them and take them home. one place in michigan is specifically to socialize kittens so they can be adopted by their new family. also, i love ginger cats. they are stereotyped as stupid but very sweet, and my own ginger cat is very much the stereotypical kind.
I just love kitties, my favorite are the orange tabbys. That orange tabby really liked you!!!! OHHHHH this makes me want to have my own shelter!!!! And take care of all the kitties!!! We have 2 kitties of our own. There is a stray (homeless kitty) that comes around. I feed him, and named him Butterscotch. He is orange. He has the cutest meows!!!!! OHHHH this would be so neat in the USA!! How fun! I hope you enjoyed your stay!
I agree about orange kitties. I have one named Marmalade,he talks a lot,lol. He is so sweet and has pretty green eyes. I would want to hug all the cats though. A nice idea.

It's expensive for a capsule hotel! If you really like cats, it might be worth the money to you! With as much traveling as you do, I imagine it would be difficult to own a pet. 🐈 It It looked like you had to go through the entertainment area to get to the restaurant 🙀 The food looked yummy, but they could throw a few more noodles in that huge bowl!🥣 😁
This is absolutely amazing ! When I was in Tokyo in 2017 I wish I had enough time to visit! I also wish we had them here in America! I can tell you we would definitely be able to adopt out more kittys and digs this way !

Nice video! I was surprised to learn most cat cafes just buy cats from breeders and Neco Republic is one of the cat cafes that have cats that are from shelters! Here in NYC, the cat cafes here all have cats from shelters.

Wow that's really nice you have the chance to adopt any of the cats you get attached to. Owning a pet is pretty difficult in Japan since most people rent, visiting some cute cats before going to bed is nice. Too bad you can't sleep with any of the cats but I guess that's just how it is since it's a capsule hotel.

Hi Anna. A great place for cat lovers and I like their concept of saving cats from shelters. It's pretty cool that your capsule room has a view of the cat cafe. I really liked that udon restaurant - don't think I've ever tried udon. Can't think why I haven't eaten udon during my travels in Japan? Take care of yourself and enjoy the rest of your week.
Udon is my favorite food! But there are no udon restaurants where I live. When I was a kid there was a great udon restaurant but they closed 😢 now I just eat packaged udon but it’s not the same

Hello, that was an interesting way of running a business, combining rest with animal welfare. I would think a lot of cats are probably taken home after people stay there, in the meantime they are being cared for and safe. I live close to a beach resort town, tourists buy cats to have for their summer visits, then abandon them when they return to the cities. Where I live these wild cats grow to be the size of small dogs because the area is surrounded by trees and food is easy to find. These wild cats keep breeding though, so kittens are always around too. Places like that are encouraging. I enjoy learning about different places, and I enjoy the way you tell of them. Take Care. @@travelloveranna It's hard to imagine people doing that but it happens every year. I have always had dogs in my family growing up and with roommates in school. Animals, like everyone else just want love and affection. They help you and you them. My school roommate had a dog he rescued from a ravine, she was hit by a car and left. She was a beautiful dog and we would fall asleep on the couch together. She slowly recovered after operations. She was always very sweet with me and very gentle. I can't see the reason why people are like that, they shouldn't do that to the animals. It is so bad!
We had a cat cafe in my local area that was upstairs in a building with a salon downstairs. The salon had to close along with the cat cafe because they didn't litter train the cats to pee in the box, and they peed on the wood floor. It seeped through and caused damage in the shared walls. I love the concept because I love cats, but having my salon have to shut down because of an upstairs cat cafe makes me rethink how clean it is to stay or visit.
