Oh thank you! I needed this info on Discord, as I could not get the macro to work, even with creating a keybind. Grabbed a macro, Imported, then set a /m to create a hot link to the macro /start attack and then calling the macro itself. I got it to work once, on the test dummy. Using Brackets as you suggested, But I was lost, so any and all vid's you make, is so much appreciated!
Yeah, import them if you want, look at the sequences to get a feel at how they work, then modify them, or make your own from scratch. It's not rocket science :)
@@dead4419 try running your character through any content with a balled fist that you can’t uncurl, mate. Then stick a pencil through your fist and try to hit the correct keys with the eraser and a weight tied to your elbow. Hitting two keys at once is impossible. I navigate with my mouse. Typing is laborious. I’m a retired software engineer. My problem is not the ability to learn new things.

The problem is that targetenemy and startattack are not working for some people when they create a macro on they're own, yes we found ways for workarounds. And the other problem is that castsequence reset is not working, some classes need that for example affliction lock. But keep on going with the videos! 🎉
There is a castsequence reset workaround that I'll try and make a video about later. Going out to see Deadpool and Wolverine first. But it calls for you to make an ingame macro through /macro and then have your sequence call that macro. You can ask about it on the discord. discord.gg/G9uW8XVYC2

Hi Oak. Question, if the macro is spamming rather fast, its hard to manually put in a defensive cooldown. So i was thinking about this : Is it possible to have a "pause" key for GSE? If i could set the rotation to pause when i hold down "shift", that would easily allow me to put defensive cooldowns for keys like "shift+e" - "shift+r" etc ? Does it make sense :P ?
What if i dont want shield of the righteous in the sequence do i just delete it out? Because i want to time my kicks. Hammer of wrath is kinda used late in the sequence how could i change that? I would like to prioritize blessing hammer judgement and hammer of wrath. And use hammer of light (templar) on cooldown
I struggle to understand what this is for. You can never be good at the game using this; you'll mostly be a burden for your group. I can see this being used for accessibility maybe, but if you aren't handicapped in some way using this will just be harmful to your gameplay.
Not everyone is looking for high-end gaming. This is an accessibility tool. However, some classes can get quite good performance from these sequences. You might be surprised. Being "good" at the game is a relative term.
@@oakensoul Yeah that's why I asked I'm genuinely curious XD. Me and my friends looked at encounter timelines and you can see who uses a rotation addon and who doesn't by a 50-80 ms lag between gcds. It's not noticeable in casual content but it's a massive difference in high-end stuff. Enough to be benched for bad performance. I guess we tend to forget casual players since we never really interact with them. It's easy to end up in a sort of echo chamber in this game. Nice to see someone is looking out for the casuals and people with accessibility needs. For others though I would strongly encourage learning the ins and outs of the game instead. There a real sense of mastery, learning a spec really well, getting rid of action bars entirely and vibing in hard content. But it takes years for most.
What burden are you talking about? This game has became a rocket science for me. There are billions of skills, mechanics and rotations. If i focus on all of them my brain starts to hurt. I made 3000+ rating with my guardian druid and bm hunter with gse. Without rotation tracking, i use all of my cc skills to save my group in every scenario while making over average dps needed. Not the best yes, but definetely not a burden. Without gse, i probably stop playing. And yes, i have health issues on my hand but without health issues, i would have use gse again.
I use these 1 button sequences for Console Port on my ASUS ROG ALLY. It makes life so much easier. Especially when I’m running low keys to farm the seasonal currency and just laying in bed. Having the ability to just press “X” and my entire rotation is going off for me is *chefs kiss* 😂

Same with reset = target Which was used for moonfire and again affliction.

I think I already do that with the shift key. That's why the blocks have the [nomod:shift] conditional in there, for this exact reason.

You can play around with the order in the priority loop. Also, I think you mean avenger's shield.
