I’m only 15 minutes in and this was rather intense. I’ve always felt as though God is patient and intimate with me, guiding me with the likeness of a love and compassion you get from a father. But, even though God allows us to relate to him in that way, we should be careful to not put God in a box or secure him in a sense to be one way when in reality he “is.” God said it so clearly speaking to Moses, saying, “I Am.” In wonder we should admit our ignorance and praise God!
Amen! I pray this book will continue to encourage you to increased communion and knowledge of God

KotH has been my all time favorite Christian book for over 40 years now. Loves me some A.W. Tozer ... in a sense, he was the 20th century's King David as far as being a man who truly had a heart for the Lord!!!
Pretty sure Tozer would disagree with that. What about KotH made you say that?

Tozer is such a fine example of a man who was transformed and taught by the Holy Spirit! Thank you, God, for this wisdom that you have given us through this, man!!
In learning God's attributes His word becomes soooo much more clear. It changed everything for me, and I thought I knew something 😂

How do I trust God completely? How do I fear not?
A man of God said the answer is to know Him well through his Word and in prayer. But is this not the part where most Christians have trouble with? The knowing and trusting?
@@thegoodchristian I do read God’s word & pray. I still seem to not trust fully & have fear. How do I not fear & trust?

I don't claim to have a perfect answer.
The definition of faith is to take God's word at its face value and to act upon it, i.e. by obeying His commandments.
We can also prayerfully look to our own lives and understand what it is that holds us back from trusting Him. To thank God for His providence and mercy, particularly with regards to salvation.
Also, do remember that learning to trust, love and fear God is a lifelong process. While that is not a reason to slack off, change certainly does not come overnight.

@@thegoodchristianI don't how YT uploading works, but as a listener for feedback if it helps, I always search for audiobooks that have been uploaded by chapter & in a playlist. It's easier for me to save playlist & keep track where I left off when I return to continue...often when I go to sleep. Also, that way it doesn't just keep playing the entire book after dozing off & I don't miss any of the book!😊 I only mention as another possibility for you! Maybe edit/breakup & reload existing video into chapters & a playlist. Thank you for this wonderful book! God Bless!🙏
