I think a chief sign of having the Holy Spirit also is I don't want to grieve Him...I can't bear to grieve Him. I love Jesus ❤️ so much that I can't bear to hurt Him. I also don't want to make Him angry. I want to please Him in all things I say; I think; and I do.
He comforted me after a bad accident in which I lost friends and a student. He gave me peace when everyone else around me was busy doing things to comfort me. I felt a calm when I should have been very emotional. I am learning about Him every day.

Hi, cleaned out my car today and I have black formats about an hour later I went back and there was a white feather on the black mat. All the windows were up. I know that was by the Holy Spirit. This isn’t the first time I praise God. The first time this is happened. I feel so blessed that I know my saviour and I’ve dedicated my life and serving him. God is so good. Pastor The masters pastor

You know what shoock me to my core? Realizing that so many Christians are deceived and not saved and have a counterfeit spirit to make them think they are saved without making Him lord over our lives. Myself included in this. I'm currently seeking and praying that He saves me and changes me. Examine yourselves daily.

I have received the HOLY SPIRIT -Ruah Kodesh- and have received many gifts of the Spirit. i wasn't looking for the Spirit and it just happened one night, at home, alone. I went to bed as sort of a useless jerk and woke up so full of the spirit, I couldn't hold it in. I do not speak in tongue and do not believe that I have ever heard anyone speak in tongues. I have heard the babbling cadence that passes for speaking in tongues but it sounds the same regardless of where. There seems to be no one who can understand the meaning of the babbling or give an interpretation. God is not the author of confusion. What is at the root of the concept of tongues is communication. I think the Spirit was speaking of the ability to communicate with strangers in part, but that doesn't help with the concept of some having the gift of the "interpretation" of tongues. Whatever is going on seems to have 2 parts: an ability to communicate (through the Spirit) and the ability to "understand" or interpret what is being communicated. I believe the issue is one of translation. It is more that being able to speak in another language. I believe it is a gift actions and those who are able to explain the actions. And so much more. I do not mean to insult or be-little those who have the gift of tongues, however, I believe that far too many people desire it so much that they practice babbling-in good faith - but to no avail. The gift is binary. A transmitter and a receiver. I believe that when we come to understand the gift of interpretation, then we will understand the gift of tongues. My thoughts only, so don't ask for a Biblical basis. Believe as you are lead by the Spirit. Pray for discernment and understanding. BTW, Jesus didn't tell me this and has not told me to share this. He seems to have plenty of mouthpieces that he is speaking to.
When you receive the Spirit, you will have no doubt. It's sort of like being hit by a freight train!

Speaking in tongue is a gift. However it should be interpreted by one or two in a congregation~ otherwise it's between him and God( God is not an author of confusion).I also did hv a struggle with this before lead to my understanding is the Holy Spirit guide a person to speak another foreign language which he/she never learned. And praying in tongues is also between him/her and God only. God bless.
Don’t worry about speaking in tongues,especially like they do in most churches. The gift of tongues is the ability to speak a language you don’t known but others do . To many people miss interpret this gift .
You do not have to speak in tongues. Jesus said there are many gifts of the Spirit tongues is only one of them. You may have prophetic dreams, you may feel the need to serve people help them out, you may be able to heal people, you may have a gift to comfort people, or evangelism. Please don't struggle with the idea that you have to speak in tongues.
When i received the spirit I cried for two days straight. I never spoke in tongues. I just kelp crying

The first gift the Holy Spirit gave me was personal discernment. He showed me my sin so that I could receive the blessing of humbleness. Now I walk with Jesus, knowing that I was unworthy of his love and sacrifice, yet he was always there. No love is greater than this.
Is that what happened to me? I have never saw so many tears come out of me. Then I looked up the Biblical definition of love and my life has been changed forever. I feel peace and have direction. Praise the Lord.

I wanted to pray. There was a deep urge. So I googled and researched. Still I wasnt satisfied, when one day a man ( in long robe)came in my dreams and said read Psalms. I didnt even know that Psalms was book of prayers and to my surprise when I opened the children Bible, almost all chapters said.. Prayer for needy...prayer for sick..prayer for elderly etc. I then knew this was the Holy Spirit communicating with me.

I put “If we confess, He will forgive and purify us, 1 John 1:9” on my dad’s headstone.
It had to be short, but he witnessed door to door with a friend I still respect, and it fit who he was very nicely. 😊
My mom’s side of the stone is “Grace and mercy through our Lord Jesus, Hebrews 4:16”.
Between the two, I can only pray that the verses change at least one life…
