    The same just happened to me !
    I got home internet on Monday... He only hooked me up in the
    living room .
    I need a wi fi extender !
    I need wifi throughout my home !

    Worst customer service ever

      I would never recommend Optimum,to anyone. A friend of mine who's mother is s shut-in for many years, what Optimum, did to her is despicable. She ran behind 3 months in her bill, and tried to see if they would give her a little time to catch with her bill. Her plan was for the TV, and the phone, no router. They told her that the service will be shut down, which it was. She called to tell them that her neighbor will return the cable box that she's still getting bill for. They told her she can't return cable box, until the bill is paid. So what their doing is billing people every month for the cable box, until the bill is paid. what a racket they have going for them, it's like holding people hostage. To settle this matter her neighbor installed an outside TV antenna, where she gets all the local channels for free, where Optimum,was charging her for the same thing. They not only they shut off the TV, but shut off her phone which she needs to call her doctors, and family members. Luckily she has a new cell phone. But still getting bill for the cable box,each month, that they wont take back until the bill is paid. A number of people that I know, stopped their services with Optimum, not only because of rude customer service, but their always seem to be raising their prices. They should be ashamed of themselves, what they put this woman through, God, only knows how many others they did this to.
