Optimum is the worst when it comes to customer service.
@@AxlesGarage Yes it is! They're called "Sudden Link" down here in N. C. The sound fades in and out so bad you either can't hear the movie, or it'll blast so loud you have to constantly adjust your volume! ! It doesn't make sense!! I pay $235. A MONTH For over a year now. A bunch of channels we don't even watch!!!

I just reported Altice Mobile to the BBB. They sold me a defective phone . I even agreed to talk to the media.
Thousands have reported them, they are too big, the BBB won't take them on. Such a scam.
To all Optimum's customer! DO NOT get new Altice one equipment. The Altice one and minibox are horrible and so is customer service, they don’t care about their customers. I would not recommend Optimum at least to anyone.👎👎

Or like our my case, they tell you need new equipment because your equipment is outdated, so they come and install the new equipment, then without your consent or knowledge they upgrade your service, you call them and all you get is the run around, like a chicken without a head, OMG, stick a fork in me, I'm done done done 😥😷😥

Massive corporations, they always get away with this kind of abuse.
Only a Supervisor can look this up and fix this issue. It seemed very unlikely that he would give you any credit. He'll follow what the system said w/o any further investigation. Fuhgettaboutit!! Save yourself time and headaches.

Can you reference to the new cell phone service that they provided at all? I understand they provided you WiFi but overall what’s your rated ? And is it based on customer service or amount of savings?
I only have internet from them. I don't know anyone who is using there cell service yet.
Watching this video, I am confused too on what this guy wants. If he is saying some of those applied credits were past issues, he needs to have dates for every credit that was applied and every credit he expects and why. He explained it better on the second call.
The proper course of action is to throw the Altice one DVR outta window if you ask me

I work for altice i get that all the time
when we raise and escalation ticket we advise the customer he should expect a sup call back within 2-4hrs
i have no idea about that
sometimes they call the customer back he doesn’t answer
Then they should call again.

A failure to failure to back leads to termination
and we aren’t allowed to hang up on a customer even if he ask for something impossible

Not the same company cable vision is gone. Altice is its own company it brought the brand.
Cablevision, Optimum, Altice.... different 'companies' over the years, but same shitty service
I have optimum too and they give me the same run around, they are the only service provider I can get in this area, and it is constant pain! I like to content create and stream, but can't when they can't even give me any upload speeds, and was told by a service tech that "I get what I get because I am at the end of the line"
Ummm, why is being at the end of the line my problem? I pay them and I get internet of the speeds they advertised, not to "get whatever I get"

Optimum, their the worst BASTARDS, stay far away from them. They shut off my service last year because I was behind two months. I paid what I owed and told them, I don't need their rotten service anymore. I was paying $220.00 per month for basic channels. Believe or not, I hookup my own outside antenna and I get all the same channels they were charging me for. People buy your own outside antenna, and you can save yourself a lot of money, instead of giving your hard earned money to these robber bandits .

They can but credit is not based on usage, and a usage record does not provide any proof when service is not working, a person may not have been at home and that does not mean that the internet or TV didnt work, i just shows that person didnt use it.
My point was they could tell I was not connected at all for a period of 2 months, additionally even if your not 'using' your modem is still trading small amounts of info back and forth. They can tell.
They interrupt ALL stations in the middle of shows and run Betfair online gambling commercials! CONSTANTLY! Shameless rotten company. Going back to Fios the minute Pandemic is over! Btw, equipment is junk and needs constant rebooting. DVR CONSTANTLY freezes. Pure garbage!

@@AxlesGarage I already played the game when Fios jacked my rates 2 years ago and I came back to Altice / Cablevision. I had been with them years ago, but once Fios arrived in town, I left. Fios has a much better much faster network that I would now enjoy since bandwidth is actually more important now than it was 3 years ago. So, for cheaper rates I came back. However, Fios has now lowered their prices as their EXTREME greed has recently subsided for a minute and I can go back at least for the next year at least and get the faster and additional bandwidth as well as better quality ( True Fiber compared to old copper) over this shameless trash network. So, im going to spend the same amount per month, I dont need to actually save anything. I just need to get good quality for what I do spend. Once the Altice store is open and the installers for Fios are back on schedule here in Northern Jersey, I'm so excited to drop this garbage equipment off at the local Altice retail location and cancel my service! CANT WAIT! Altice and Cablevision are horrible and shameless Trash!

you are lucky you can get FiOS, in Brookhaven, not competition stuck with optimum
