However Fortnite, Tetris 99, just to name a couple after download and installation are giving me the notification of needing a Nintendo online account to be able to play. I think that's pretty lame since Fortnite can be downloaded and played for free on any mobile phone. Which brings me to the fact that the switches operating system doesn't support any of your normal online mobile games. My wife and I bought 2 Nintendo Switches for Christmas for our children for a price of $300 dollar's a piece along with 6 game's ranging from $25-$50 a piece. To say I'm a little disappointed is to say the least. You have a tough job my friend and I hope Nintendo is compensating you for your efforts. some of their free games can be played on other platforms like pc and mobile. and others were demo and lastly others need nintendo subscription. the only ones left were just crap free games. no decent exclusive nintendo switch free game
I really enjoy poke unite even tho it has some flaws down to the game being mostly decided by the last 2 minutes of the 10 and it relies on good team mates to constantly win. Other than that it's really fun and on mobile too

You don't need an online subscription to download the free games. You should be able to just visit the store and download them.
