- Installed the 2 inch Highlifter Lift Kit on my Kawasaki Mule. Basic overview. Buy a spring compressor to do the job! Most difficult part is the springs by far.

Thanks for the tips on spring compression, I'll be installing a lift kit on a 2013 mule 4010 when spring arrives. I know mules are bulletproof mine has over 2700 hours and still going strong.

Looks good, but I've read many forums that the 4010 Mule drive shaft eventually gets heavily warn and screwed up with this 2 inch lift because it's a completely different angle... have you noticed any signs of this yet...
No I haven’t. It has about 89hrs on it now.
Is there a aftermarket shaft to prevent that?
Do you notice any difference in performance? Do the bigger tires and wheels put any strain on the motor?
@@zachfoster-x1c I am at 200hrs and haven’t noticed any difference. But we do run it in Low on our trails around the property. Definitely don’t bang around on it.
Quick question. How did you get the spindle bolt out with the brake line in the way.
I left them connected and just worked around them. I believe I zip tied them out of the way. It wasn’t a problem for me because I don’t remember it being an issue. The major problem was compressing those springs!

Even with the 2" lift and larger tires, does it still fit in a typical house with 7 foot garage?

What size wheels and tires did you run.?
It’s probably a little more stiff but I didn’t have much experience driving it before the lift since It was new. 26x10x12 Sedona Rip Saw tires.

You will enjoy it. Those Sedona tires are wearing like iron. The machine has about 100hrs on it. Does well!
WHAT MADE YOU CHOSE A MULE OVER A CAN-AM OR POLARIS ? LOOKS GOOD
Cost! 😂 but I had a Teryx 4 seater that I loved but it was loud and hot. I like the 3yr warranty with the Mule and the fact that the bed can be made bigger and it is essentially a 6 seater if needed and it isn’t as long as the other 4 seaters. Since we only really use it for deer hunting and chores I didn’t need it to do 50 or be extremely off-road capable. Also, when I looked at used ones it was nothing to see some with over 1000hrs so I know they are basically bulletproof. But I will also go back to cost! 😂

I was told that it didn’t. But you might ask your dealer. I am definitely not the end all be all on that. So please don’t let me lie to you. 😊

Did you have to change your stock rims to upgrade the tires?
I did. Because I went with the wider tires
How tall is it after your mods? Does it fit in your garage height wise?
It is down at our hunting cabin now but it was 4” higher than what stock was. I don’t remember what that number is though.
