As an electrical contractor, I have busted every major brand drill, including milwaukee. I switched to Hilti, and those tools do not break, no matter how much I abuse them. And if I do, the 20 year warranty is there.
20 year manufacturers warranty, so they guarantee to service it for 20 years. 2 year wear & tear warranty on cordless tools including one day turnaround in the repair center.
Hilti or ryobi or bosch or makita or milwaukee??
@@King.Azerbaijan994depends of the country
That Hilti will still be chooching in 10 years .
The only tool That i own that lasts more than ten years in my shop is a mitersaw and a hammer. Anything Else goes for sale After a couple of years and i buy a new one. no warranty issues and always new tools 😍
I have multiple 5-10 year old Milwaukee drills/impacts /grinders/oscillating tools etc Milwaukee also repairs for free no questions asked. Although, I do prefer Hiltis rotary hammers.
Found the clueless AvE fan😂😂
@@vlad1889Milwaukee band saw went for repair came back and broke again within 2 months. The Hilti takes a beating and keeps going
And I'll have made twice as much money to buy a new drill and you'll have a decade old drill
Both great….but the Hilti will still be making RUclips shorts in 20 years.
And cost almost 2x to do a job
Not the equivalent battery in the hilti either
Do a job twice as fast for half the money. Time is money in case your getting paid by the hour not me.
The Milwaukee marketing team at their finest lol
He is not a Milwaukee guy
Most of the replies in this comment section are Hilti reps with comments such as: tHe hilTI wILl chOoCh fOr MANY MOAR yEarS!!
As a Hilti rep, this comment is hilarious and true @@Dexter_Solid
Not fair you held the Hilti with a Milwaukee glove. Need a hilti glove or it’s not a fair test.
Speed is not power and power not speed. Do the test again with the same battery after one year the hilti stays strong and solid. It is just build different.
Did you read what you type? In this scenario a power tool scenario speed is power and power is speed because if it struggles to do it , it won’t do it fast
But speed is time and time is money you must be a hourly worker.😅
I have both but Milwaukee will always win in speed! Yet will always lose in the long run cause that Hilti will be still rocking while the milwaukee is in the repair shop 🤣. Both great impacts to say the least
Exactly. Had the same happen when I jumped on the Milwaukee bandwagon few years ago. Now I’m back with Hilti.
@@vojnikjna30
What draw me to Hilti was the quality put into their tools. They look great and feel even better. I will say I was disappointed with the SID 6-22 specs and it’s performance. Don’t get me wrong it’s a wonderful impact, but no way it has the torque ratings they claimed. It should be neck and neck at least with the milwaukee Gen 3 or 4. When I made the switch years ago, the previous Hilti 22 volt have proved great(besides the brushed hammer drill) wasn’t a fan of that drill but the upgraded one is a beast. I have had zero problems with any of cordless as well as the 12 volt line. They perform as they should! Milwaukee I had a lot of problems with their hammer drills, reciprocating saws, cutters and impact switches the list goes on.
Milwaukee puts crazy IPMs and RPMs on their impacts.
It helps when driving fasteners but it may wear the motors quicker
My dads Gen 2 m18 kit from 2015 is still going to this day he won’t give it up, and it’s USED
That's what people don't understand. Milwaukee is garbage. I have guy's on the jobsite, and they have Milwaukee, and their tools are always getting repaired because they don't hold up
People talking as if they'll actually keep their tools for 10+ years.
Of course, those tools will break down within a year 😂
Say you don't take care of your tools without saying you don't take care of your tools.
@@lescap1209exactly, and @ taking care of your tools does not mean babying them . just don’t use it as a hammer , push it and overheat it just because you want to finish and go home and most importantly is don’t lend it . idc if it’s your mom dad cousin whoever . 1 out of every 2 tools you lend will not come back the same or will not come back at all.
That Hilti looks like something out of Robot Wars
One will last 3 years the other will last 23
Battery tech is the same across the board. Both will be obsolete in 10 years
@@enr1997widget talking about the tool not battery , I use Bosch tools and I have 3 batteries that are 11 years old and still work perfectly everyday. Batteries work fine for ages if you look after them.
That's good, because you're going to need plenty of time to drive those bolts.
People overlook build quality for speed.
I use all hilti at my job. Hilti rotary hammers, hilti jackhammers, hilti drills, impacts you name it. Ill pick a hilti any day. We just got a milwaukee impact. Didnt last a week before it died. Our hilti tools are beat to hell but they still keep on chugging
In my highschool construction class we were gifted used hilti tools from a construction company, theyd been using the tools for years and we used them even longer, we dropped the circular saw from the roof to the concrete basement and it still worked just fine and nothing broke. Hilti is truly amazing.
To be fair, the hilti will last forever.
Yeah and youd be driving fasteners forever too. 😅
That a 4 amp Hilti battery. Not comparing the same battery. The battery range are size 55 = 2.6 amp, 85= 4 amp, 170= 8 amp, and 255 = 12 amp.
You're clueless😂😂
Hilti if paid by the hour. Milwaukee if paid by the job.
hands down best comment on this video
I work as a Civil Engineer and I would always recommend Hilti
You could’ve said: “I work at hilti as a Civil Engineer and..”
This is a similar comparison to putting a consumer pickup with a diesel up against the same make commercial pickup. The consumer has WAY more power, sometimes over a hundred more. But commercial trucks are made for longevity. They don't care about how fast it can make it up the hill but how many times it can make it up the hill. Sometimes you cut the power, and the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. Less heat, less stress, better life, and so on.
I don’t think you’ll be using impact driver for this size of the screws when you’re screwing all day long.
Speed doesn’t mean it’s better, check vibration, which one is more “friendly” to human hands!
My Makita impact is smooth and has great ergonomics. Its also a lot quieter than the ridged, dewalt and craftsman one I have used.
Was that the toughbuilt keyhole saw? Do a review on it I've been looking to get it or the folding one haven't decided yet!!!!
NURON batteries are NOT fully charged until all 4 lights shut off. if they do not go off, you are running a 75% charged tool. They are not the same as the CPC platform batteries that were charged once all 4 lights stayed on. Just a little friendly FYI...
Ure Right, but the Milwaukee could use an HO battery for even more Power. And in my experience, there is almost no difference in power until the battery reaches the Last 25%.
@@sebastianb251 yeah and he also could use the same 5.2Ah batteries....not 4.0Ah vs 5.2Ah.... and in hilti nuron line there is a difference between power whuch different batteries will give you...
The older Hiltis are better
When released we want the DCF860 vs the gen4
Yes
I like the Hilti just not their new huge batteries
Hilti is the Nokia of tool brands
Hilti made their impact driver less powerful than Milwaukee on purpose to prevent overheating. However the Milwaukee can still last a very long time if you let it cool down whenever the anvil case gets hot to the touch but, that will cut into productivity unless you own a second one to have in rotation.
Same reason why most impact driver's are slower then milwaukee.
Ok😂
Besides power, what I look for in an impact is a good variable speed trigger and a collet that dosnt have bit wobble. It looks like the Hilti collet is very good.
Contractors who make money from their tools will rarely say that speed is what they look at first when choosing an impact. Hell, I don't ever look at that. The newer Milwaukee and Makita tools are often too fast with not enough fine control. DeWalt, Hikoki and Hilti all make great impacts for professional use
My milwaukee gen 4 broke after a year off heavy daily use now in the repair shop😂😭
No it's not, because you don't own one 😂😂
@@Dexter_Solidi did, this tool cant handle heavy gauge metal, i switched to dewalt and never going back🤙🏽
Dam didn't expect that..thanks for the clip
Using human arms to regulate the downforce of both drills simultaneously is obviously not scientific.
You gotta use monkey arms
Hilti didn't think that it's not comfortable to have such a wide battery with small tools. They could have placed 6 cell differently to make it shorted but thicker. The apperance is not the best idea to follow
Do the chain fall with 2 amp us the hilti with the 4 amp
Well they didn’t make the Hilti to win a impact drill race… I’ve always felt that was the most pointless test …. You can just hear how much better built the hilti is ….. that Milwaukee sound super loud compared to the hilti . The Hilty was just smooth with that beautiful slow start so your not busting the heads off screws and stripping out tips. That Hilti is in a class of his own brother.
It does not matter at all about how fast it fixes the screwing. It’s about how long the impact guns will last. Hilti, customer service and Hilti guarantee is 2nd to none
test the tool for two consecutive months. I have been working with Hilti tools for 20 years and they still work well
The amp/h won't change a thing, its battery life. Voltage matters, voltage is potential
Amp hour of the batteries is different that effects the efficiency of the tool
Why 22 volts on the battery?
That Hilti battery is huge though you have to admit. For negative performance thats kinda uneccesary. They could do an 18V with the same performance and longevity of tool
I have most hilti tools and I start to move to different brand . The battery cost is incredible
Gen4 is next lvl just got mine and wow
Not known for there impacts but hilt has a killer line of rotary hammer drills in my opinion love mine.
I worked in the construction industry and HIlti was far more superior in function and ability to handle rough conditions, and handling.
The light on the Hilti seems to bee much better 😂
Osnt hilti 300nm?
Can you try flex again, but without the stacked lithium cells?
Milwaukee tools, the tools that made
Milwaukee famous 😅
I dropped my Hilti impact driver for 6 floor building and nothing happend and after 15 years on a hard working I will replace for the new 6-22
I legitimately didn’t know hilti made anything but concrete anchor guns
Because no one uses them. I work on the road installing machinery and I've only seen hilti a handful of times. Everyone uses Milwaukee or DeWalt.
Hilti rules in concrete and masonry works, no other brands even come close as powerful and comfortable to use. Milwaukee impact or Ingersoll Rand is the most powerful, but Milwaukee always the one first to develop fault. Makita might be the most balanced in terms of longevity, power and price.
Tbh I don't fancy remortgaging my house for a hilti. I will just stick with my milwaukee that just so happens to win this test 😂
I agree with you on the price, but in a long run it is worth it. Specially if you make a living off of it
The only thing that pisses me off about Hilti is not only their warranty, but how blatantly obvious the lack quality that’s missing in their last batch of 22v batteries from 2020-2021. I’m not the only one who had issues with them then out of nowhere comes this new platform. Geez wonder how that happens huh? now I’m stuck with 3 bad batteries out of 4 and 12v system that doesn’t hang to the connectors right
Take your batteries to hilti. As long as you didn't steal your tools they will help you.
@@kawkings1412 I’ll try but usually if it’s wear and tear, you have only 2 years
@@kawkings1412 idk if i have to hassle them or what
Been waiting for this one..
I like hilti. The company i work with provided us with a set of hilti tools and they are good enough and its nice to use someone elses tools
I own Milwaukee and dewalt many years, now I am thinking to switch over to HILTI due to reliability
Hilti is better for the homeowner that occasionally takes on projects. The Milwaukee is better if you’re doing piece work.
I can't fault my Hilti or my Milwaukee both great drivers
Tiene los agujeros ya hechos
4amp battery vs 2 amp, not fair, tools put out much more power with bigger battery pack. Use same size battery
There is nothing like Milwaukee tools!
Trash is like Milwaukee tools the plastic feels cheap they always need to be charged if they even work grease gun is good but anything else I have owned from them was money wasted
@@Grggeorge So in your opinion which brand make the best tools? For my experience Milwaukee make the best ones.
@@lorenzoghinelli7018 well I have Hilti tools from 2007, the Milwaukee cordless hammer drill I bought same time burnt out 2 years later
Used to work with makita and milwaukee, once needed a hammerdrill somewhere, didnt had mine with me and had to use a really old abused hilti.
Most comfortable and precise hammerdrill ive ever used.
Your Milwaukee and other all brands are crap compared to Hilti's lifetime warranty. and Hilti is a Rolls Royce.
He’s left handed so his dominant hand won. Nice try though
Hilton is way way more reliable
I threw a fit and threw my drywall gun at the ground it broke but I reconnected the battery and it worked 😂 3 year old gun
If Milwaukee were reliable and of high quality, it would be called HILTI. There is cheap China that will ruin your Milwaukee in this very matter. Milwaukee offers discounts every week that HILTI does not. HILTI IS A ROLLS ROYCE
the battery in the hilti is only 4 amp the milwalkee is a 5 or 6 . hard to tell
I think Hilti themselves are clocking down the Hilti by idk 10-20% so it lives the typical Hilti lifespan of about 10-20 years
Was not expecting that to
Be honest
Most skilled trades are paid hourly who cares about speed!!
maybe if u keep it in a museum. Hilti dies, just as anything else.
Milwaukee may be fast but it will not last.
the gloves says it all though
wow Milwaukee is a king, hilti is slow so that means trash
Sure
@@bigboreracing356 im just trolling, using Milwaukee fan girl logic here
The Klein 1/4 impact vs Milwaukee 1/4 impact
Hilti is for longevity. The battery will have the drill going hard 8hrs
Today Hilti is not the '90s Hilti that was both the fastest and the most reliable. But when Hilti last 2 years of heavy use, Milfuky suky suky that is not just made in China like Hilti, but fully own chinesium from 2005!!! will last 6 months to 2 years of moderate use. And for speed there are drill drivers, at least another 2-3X faster then Milwaukee impact drivers that generate 120 db and are ilegal in residential area and absurdly stupid to use in most cases. Most people never ever need to screw huge screws in rufs from a lader and without predriling, and without predriling is stupid anywey, the wood cracks and is scrap. Impact wrenches are smart tools, impact drivers are stupid tools made mostly for imbeciles.
nobody have the same power in right or left arm, but….
Hilty battery is like a tank. Why not make it bigger?
You should do one with Kobalt vs Milwaukee
It’s funny how people treat powertools like religion. Buy a tool you like and get the job done. Simple as that.
Milwaukee has the problem with the trigger and it tends to break easily, once the trigger doesn't work I had to remove the battery and put it back again to make it work, doing more couple times a day the same process gets annoying, the Milwaukee's was brand new and it started to have the problem in the first month , so I won't buy a Milwaukee anytime soon.
You put a 3.0 highoutput on the milwaukee and it will be smaller lighter and absolutely smoke that hilti
Milwaukee is the best
And you didn’t even use a High Output battery on the milwaukee
you should wear earplugs when doing this
I would suggest go for #HILTI only
Of course they have different speeds
😂😂 4ah vs 5ah.... Yeah.. that is exact same
Now use an HO 6.0 on the M18 to really clown on the Hilti.
🔴ok everyone chill with the Hilti lasting 10years bc its slower. You know dang well you arent keeping ANY impact for 10+ years.
The Hilti has torque control for the limp wristed handyman in your workforce
🔴And even if you did keep an impactfor 10 years, just based on how fast the Milk is youd probably have more fasteners driven in 5 years than 10 years with that hilti 😅
The hilti turn off.
Cool 👍
It seems to me that Hilti will be even slower than Makita
Si pones fuerza solo en una normal 😂
