Thanks. Excellent video. The other camera wrist strap tutorials I saw all use a clip or carabiner but it seems as though this version which loops back through itself will be much more comfortable on the wrist.

YES !!! I finally made one.. lol i had to tape the loop and i used 9 feet of paracord , its a bit to big but i like it

If you keep making the band wider and smaller to get it on your wrist, will it stretch over time or will it still be tight to stay on your wrist with the mad max knot

I created this type of bracelets a year ago. The situation is similar to the creation of Mendeleyev's table, when several people scattered around the world almost at the same time come up with the same ideas and it's fine, because that's how we move this world forward.

Looks like with a long enough tail loop you could use it as a lifting in order to lift more weight without straining your grip. Also as a drag strap. Weight lifters use these but they also have many uses in the wilderness for lifting heavy logs, hanging climbing etc. but I would have to try it to see for sure.Weaving a cobra weave onto a section of the loop but keeping enough adjustability would probably work better and protect your hands more from what you are lifting. Interesting....
