I figured there was a better way to do a decent looking cord bracelet with a figure 8 wrap but the completeness of this design with safety break and everything is just outstanding. I'm curious how well a belt version would work.
While I favor more complex weaves for quick-deploy because they give me far more cord to work with, this is actually a fantastic way to keep busy with spare bits of cord and even store it. I think this would come in very handy for after you deploy a larger setup and only have 10ft left. Also great for getting kids into paracord bracelet making without discouraging them with complexity. very nice vid and excellent call on adding the "in the field" bit
@@slingshotshooter7536 You can make a trilobite version of this weave. Basically you add one more layer, and the process is more or less the same. I couldn't find any tutorial on it, but I was intrigued when this guy showed it off in one of his videos. He doesn't have a tutorial on it either. But I was able to figure it out from what I learned from this video. So you can hold about 50% more cord than the basic 2 layer fish weave. IMO it looks really good too. It's a bit tricky to do, but not by a lot. Compared to other bracelets that hold around the same amount of cord, this method is far easier, quicker, and nicer looking. It's slimmer too, than some other styles, like the half-hitch bracelet, or the double cobra (which is by far the worst since it isn't even quick deploy). I think I'll be making this style of bracelet almost exclusively from now on. It ends up being better than every other style I've tried, and I've tried a few.
Really cool design. I'm going to try it out with a bunch of different projects. IV been looking for a non time consuming way to make a quick deploy belt. So thanks for sharing. I wonder how it will look with straps versus the Paracord as my go to for (survival) cordage is straps because they are easier to check for damage and are load bearing.
Any chance you'll have the paralink back in stock on your website anytime soon? This looks real handy in a pinch but I love the look of the metal hardware on the bracelet.
Do anyone who did this know approximately how much cord it takes? From the video it looked like 3m or 9 feet Also, could it be done starting from a key ring + cow hitch?
ruclips.net/video/KN3d8vvHgWE/видео.html I did this on my backpack handle and I love it, it makes it chubbier but a little bit stiffer. I found that this wrap doesn't work well on soft bodies, especially if you tension it a lot.
I think it looks neat and is nice for being quick deploy. It holds a good amount of cordage too. Downside is how long it takes to make, at least for me. I'd rather make this style.
I had searched for quick deploy belts mainly, and I never saw this version. Nice! Your title and tag game is weak. More people would find this if "quick deploy" was added, I believe.
Cool way to do the "buckle" without plastic parts. I'm going to change the way I do survival bracelets.
You could always check out the mad Max survival bracelet tutorial it has a pretty cool securement system
@@trevorrunyan3740 I think this method is far more interesting and functional. It doesn't leave a strand to flop around.

Nice craft!

@@slingshotshooter7536 Good to know. If you want to share exactly how you went about yours, I'd be interested.
Pure awesomeness! Thank you for this video. Subscribed.
Awesome stuff! Wound up making mine a little too big, but I can fix it later on. Now to find a way to incorporate multiple colors...
This is really instructional. Thanks!

I just made a full belt with a few inches less than 50 feet of cord. It probably wont deploy as quickly, but it looks damn cool
Brilliant design! Could you please do a follow-up on how to widen the bracelet? 🙏
I have to say I love the videos I watched so far you have helped me a lot
First Class- Definitely… Amateur- not a chance lol. This is exactly what I needed 🥂
Very cool. Have you ever made a belt? That would probably be a cool project.
I wish I could get that marlin spike in the UK😢 looks great but delivery is expensive!
I really hate paracord bracelets, but his thing is pretty cool, and pretty fast and easily done with things on hand. May have to give it a try.
But it's a paracord bracelet, and you "really hate paracord bracelets" 🤣😱🤣😱🤣

when try to do this the bracelet stays locked it doesn't open like in the vid
is there a way to make a wider version of this with more rope ?
Happy Lunar New Year!
Thank you!
Bro. I wanna know how you got that Turks head on that marlin spike lol

3.5 nmeters
Nicely done! ... But what can one do with 4 or 5 feet of paracord?
Can you tell us what kind of lighter you’re using? Is there a sponsored link?
I wonder could this be done around webbing or a backpack strap somehow?

@@alessandrorampa5536 hey cool! And now I know 👍🏻
Do you by chance have pdf instructions on this that can be printed?
Can you make a BROAD BELT please?
Any idea when your spike will be back in stock? Hard to support the channel when I cant buy anything
I have another batch coming in. They should be in this week. Thanks 🙏
Excuse me, but what is the length of the rope in meters?
Are there printable instructions for this anywhere please?
length?
What do you think about ,,Blaze bar ''bracelet ?

In the green container?

How long the paracord do we need
nice idea
love it
