For years, I've been using a similar zipper sinnet to store a 30 foot loop of 1" webbing in the pocket of my firefighting pants. Deploys fast and easy for all types of things like dragging a victim out of a building, using the webbing to tie open a door, or even as a bailout rope through a window.
I use bundled up paracord on hikes, but made quick release cords when I broke my foot to pass the time. It keeps the sanity... Most of the times, I use paracord while hiking, as a shoelace fix. Also keep a lighter in a watertight container/bag, and you'll walk comfy once again.
an overlapping chrochet... I usually just crochet then crochet the crochet it comes off in a single strand instead of this double-double works for ropes as well but this is neat too!
I use this for tying up my webbing, call it the lobster tail knot because it makes the flat webbing kind of curl like a (you guessed it) “lobster tail”
I’m looking for a design that I can use as a compact lanyard for a knife. If I need to deploy the knife I want to have the lanyard hold the knife in case I can’t put the knife back in the holster right away. This is for emergency use while kayaking. I have seen some folks use a coil lanyard, but I’m looking for something more compact and resistant to sea water.

Cords can save lives, and you just made it more possible. Now I have found a new hobby because of you! Thank you!
This is a really good idea. I find being outside in the woods keeps my sanity 😁
Another quick release i recommend to people is the Blaze bar, pretty easy weave to learn.

Great video, once again! Where do you get these carabiners? They look very cool.
Thanks! I got those on Amazon, if you just search "OD Green Carabiner" they should come up.
There aren’t a lot of things as satisfying as pulling out a daisy chain-like wrap of paracord…
Think you for this great video,

HAVE ABSOLUTELY NEVER MET ANYONE THAT USED PARACORD FOR ANY REASON OR PURPOSE IN 65 YEARS OF LIFE EXPERIENCE
Oh my God. I was thinking the same thing. With the utmost respect to everyone, not sure why I need a pretty bundle of ten feet of thin rope.
@@Anonymous-fu5okso go look it up
Its never to late to start living 😂 the only time i use paracord is as a prusik for bigger ropes when hoisting tools up.
