I can see the advantage of a "lefty" crown for "righties." The right side crown facilitates hand winding while the watch is on the wrist. You don't need to hand wind with an automatic watch and you normally (or should) take the watch off to set it lest you inadvertently bend)break the stem. The "lefty" crown will not dig into the back of your left hand if you wear your watch on the left. Not a bad plan. Good vid. Keep at it!

But I think all that has rightly been abandoned now 😂

LONGINES.

I have the black version on a sweet silicone band with circular cut-outs, making the piece very wearable. The crown placement is brilliant once worn.
The black center of the dial combined with the handset painted black at the base, creates an illusion that the lumed handset is floating -
    Perfect for a spacewatch!

Hello Mike , I'm glad you are feeling better and I'm sure the recovery will only increase , I really like the watch , it's stunning color and I love the layers , it offers so much depth .
I have a chronograph watch made by NIXON , it to is a left handed . I recognized right away it's different, that when I realized what it was. It's valued at $650 , plus it's camouflaged . It was a gift from family because I told them that it wanted to practice Horoligy , a week later I was told to fun taking it apart and getting it right. Great review . Cheers

I'm a lefty as well and it would probably be a thing to get used to. I can draw with a bulky 42mm on my wrist but having one on my right hand would be handier. Doing the onscreen regulation is awesome. I believe the hour hand is meant to also be a compass pointer as seen in antique compass'. There's a way to use a watch as a compass. Sorry, big comment but I do believe watch companies should do more than just plop movements in. They can probably do that with quartz movements but the people are buying these because of mechanical and SEIKO. I don't blame SEIKO because SEIKO (for the most part) regulates their watches before consumers get their hands on them as Phoibos should try and regulate in-house before sending them off. Glad to see that you're getting better and that more videos will be coming out.

Still further to my last - I was driving home yesterday when my watch fell off! I thought at first the bracelet had broken, but in fact it was the 1mm x 27mm screw-pin that fastens it to the case that had come undone! Luckily the pin was still in the strap-end, and I possess a tiny screwdriver, so I could put it back in. When I checked the screw-pin on the other side of the case, that was one turn short of being tight too.
So, something to check if you own a Phoibus watch!

About 10% of the world's population is left handed, wich is less than I thought. My son is left handed and so is my sis. I myself do a lot of things left handed, but I am mostly right handed. There is a connection with the eyes. My left eye is the most important when it comes to things like shooting a rifle, aiming etc. Recently I discovered that when playing card games, I hold the cards with my right hand and pick them with the left, which seems to be an exception also.

Further to my previous - now wearing my new Apollo that arrived today. It's quite a chunk of watch! The blue face on mine is a shade or two darker than that in your photo. I had to take two links out of the bracelet to suit my wrist, and that is a bit slack, but three links out is too tight. I'll have to fiddle about with the clasp adjustment pin tomorrow. That plastic cover on the bracelet is a pain to remove. I ended up using a tiny pair of scissors to cut it along it's length! (p.s. I'm 72!) I, too, am freshly out of hospital - old man's plumbing problems! - - - I keep meaning to ask - what IS roddico? I assume it is related to blu tack, but firefox just refers me to a genaeology site, and someone with that surname!

      Bonjour,
