I recently bought a 2021 Ram 1500 with the Warlock trim. I am selling the factory 20” wheels. I replaced them with 17” steel with Falken Wild Peaks. 285/75/17.
Supposed to be 33.8” in diameter. Zero rubbing. I’m very happy with them. Stock suspension ( Warlock trim bring 1” lift to front from factory )
those ko2's are hard to beat as an AT/AS tire. super tough tire and longevity on the wear.
5:32 Exactly! Also, the truck looks great!
first gen 92' cummins 5 speed flatdeck with two tool boxes. Just bought a BDS 5" suspension lift kit, planning on putting on 37x15's on 16 inch steels. Gonna run stacks, front bumper winch. manual Crane, and an air compressor. All being built right now.
Looks incredible! You did it the right way with that wheel and tire setup. Id also put that sicker somewhere on the rear windshield leaving the tailgate debadged.
I have 06 Ram 2500 , put 5.5" Rough country lift. 37 ' mudders, 3" spacers. Bushwacker flares.
What about painting under the body line at the bottom of the truck all black maybe to break up the brownish/gold color, maybe try plasti dip first....just a thought.
inVAINwetrust agreed
Now we're talking, Ishin. I've had two sets of BFG ATs and LOVED them. Awesome all around tire except for deep mud (obviously). I have 33x12.5x15's on my built Grand Cherokee and you will notice that the 12.5" wide tire will definitely help with traction. Just know that the truck is going to feel slower but hey, it's not built to be fast.
+John Lamb yeah I actually don't feel much difference but overall improvement lol. Fuel mpg didn't change much either and it rides really well.
Interesting. Any idea what gear ratio your truck has in the axles?
lol nope. as long as it tows i dont care haha
Right on man, I hear ya. Completely unrelated, but are you planning to go to the '17 Buschur Shootout?
The headlights are the only thing throwing it off. With some blacked out housing it would look just right.
put the 33s on the evo and go into the woods with the awd lol
33s on a LANCER!?? :O
Just doing somewhat the same with my 2010 Ram 2500. Same BFG 35's on 20" Rockstar 827 rims though, Bilstein's also going on next Monday. watching your end results helped me be a little less nerves. 247k on stock shocks I am expecting a way better ride
"Rice it out, that's what I do" 😂😂😂😂
LoL, Too Cool..! Asian Redneck!! 😎👍
I have an '02, same color, and I'm going to try out some 34-in Patagonia MT's on black steelies.
I like!...perfect Wheel to tire ratio. I think 20s on thin tires look ridiculous. This Ram looks great.
I hope you see my comment and fix those front struts. You absolutely put the lower spring mount on upside down. That's what gave the extra 2" of lift. You are going to have problems if you don't fix this fast.
extra proper truck, im all about functionality and form at the same time. you did a really good job with it! impressed
Good choice on tires. I work a discount tire and we put a lot of those on trucks
The BFGoodrich ko2 are the best tires I've ever had on a vehicle.
Project Asian Redneck 😂🤣😂🤣 best video description ever
Woah! Definitely a nice change. Had the BFG AT on my jeep and they were great.
Going as epic as 35s or 37s, honestly I would go Mud Terrain. All terrain is like 30-33s. It's a great looking tire, though. I wanna go 33s next on my Taco. BFG all the way. I used to work at DT also.
I have a ram 1500 6" inch bds lift with fox shox and 2" body lift on 20"x12.5 -44 offset fuel rampage and 37s nitto trail grappers, 3.95:1 gear ratios, blow back catch can, k&n intake, diablo tuner.
Did you do a level kit or lift to run the 35" ?
Nice truck, I put 20's with 285/60R20.
Same here Bro! more tires just looks fcking good, gonna do same setup with my tundra, 35 on 17s
I run a 285/65/18 and it looks great
Coolest support vehicle ever!
On the Conner glass
Look up the control arms solid iron compare to the rolled stocks they tend to flex I bought mine in Amazon 45 bucks a piece and your steering is more solid too
They are mevo tech something like that I found them by looking at that black 2500 hundred Cummins here on RUclips with the bad ass emblems I I forgot the name of the truck or the channel it's a 6speed Cummins I think from canada
Really should think about using wheel chucks when changing tires, keep the vehicle from rolling and possibly falling off the jack.
I'd have done black out with those wheels... Still looks good. I am considering a 1.5" body lift (already have 3" susp) and making the change from 33 12.50 to 35 13.50 on my 2000 Tacoma.
What are those wheels? They are sick
35s always bring a truck to life.
Looks mean I just ordered mine can't wait
truck looks alot better with those wheels and tires on it now .....good job !
It looks so good dude! Glad you went with the Ko2's
Sticker on the window! I like the clean debadged look on the back :)
"I want that trophy truck look so I went with 285/75r17 ...." lmao off road guys would laugh 35's are entry hahahahahaha.
Those other tires aren't 33's if they measure out to be 33 inches tall. We can see by the comparison they are nearly as tall as the true 35's which we know are actually less that 35 inches tall. Also, I run 35's on 20" wheels with good success off road. Plenty functional. Of course it's only a 2wd so I'm not going to go rock crawling but I've had it buried to the axle in snow and got it out under its own power. At no point did I feel like smaller wheels would improve my situation.
Best intro out of all RUclipsrs I've seen.
put the BFG 265/70 almost a 32
on a Colorado. works well
u should put snow tires on the evo and rip it
Thanks for the vid. I am going with the Nitto Terra Grapplers 35/12.5/20 on my factory wheels
I have a 2008 SLT 4x4 Quadcab 6.3 with the 4.7L. I went with the Nitto Exo Grappler (for the heavy duty use) on the factory OEM 275/60R20 rims.
My left rear axle sheared off (some how lost gear oil, possible worn seals) at 90 mph and the tire held up to being dragged a couple hundred feet. A chuck of tread was ground off, but it was still solid enough to drive from south-western part of Virginia back to central part of the east coast of New Jersey; over 350 miles.
The Exo Grappler holds up good for winter driving, even while towing a trailer behind.
I'm adding a lot of factory OEM accessories and some aftermarket parts. Now that I have another daily driver, I can fix up my truck, without going over the top.
put the doge sticker on the 1st spot (7:22) it looks good when it stands out like that
I don't even like Dodge but that looks sick bro, I love the bullet hole rims
really finished it off! looking good. i vote for above czero media sticker
Hey i want to put 35s on my ram 1500 2008 I was wondering if you had a lift or a 2 inch leveling kit
They look great man. Getting mine in 2 days!
I know it's old but could you give me the specs of your truck and do you have a leveling kit or anything on it to fit those 35's
Hey I'm from Canada, always wanted to go to Vancouver. Hope you enjoy it!
33 on 20 is best of both world normal tire and bigger wheels what I go with
thank you! I totally agree that guy's are lifting their trucks ridiculous amounts to fit tires that look amazing on a stock Ram or Ford with a leveling kit like yours. Great stance! are you going to change gear ratio?
you should match the paint on the fender flares
Looks great. I love those tires. It should be a standard. Love the doge
Looks much much better! Nice job.
Wow it looks so much better. And i would put the sticker by the czeromedia one.
325/50/r22 Nitto trail grappler on my lifted Ram 1500
some halo led blacked out headlights would look sick!
Your geolanders are a 33.83" x 11.2".
A 33" mud tire is actually only 32.5" tall.
Your new 35" big are 34.5" tall.
Look way better though
Tyrel Thibault do you run 35s on a Ram ? I’m looking to do it on mine
The wrangler duratracs do MUCH better in snow than the KO series. Where I live the KO's are not an option 6 months of the year.
I have the same year and model truck in black and the rear wheel wells are starting to bubble up. I want to grind it down, coat it and put OE style flares on but I noticed that there was a repair job done in the past. I'm not good with sheet metal replace ment and not sure what to do.
They look awesome Ishin, I've gotta 97 2door Tahoe, would love a lil lift and aggressive tire package...someday.
Frank Kelly don't do a 3 inch suspension lift, it kills CV axles way too quick
It look's awesome ! And you should definitly put the sticker in the back window :)
Looks so nice, wanna do a similar conversion. Can you please tell me what offset your wheels are?! Thank you!!
Corner of the tailgate would be a great place to put the doge sticker imo
great build truck looks great makes me want to get one and mod it
I was wondering if you could give me the specs on your wheel setup , I just purchased a 08 ram 1500 and I like the rims and 35’s you have picked
Just about to do a 6" suspension lift with 37s
Sticker on the window, not the paint. Just my opinion!!! So easy to take off windows when it fades. Some windex and a razor blade. Such a pain to get off paint.
Awesome looking truck !! Texas approved 😎
Do they rub? Is your suspention and height stock? Looks Great!
wow i like the way the truck looks now good job man!
looks dope now
The 35's look great. I also installed bilstein 5100's. I put front at 2 inch level not the 2.75. Did you level to highest at 2.75 inch or 2 inch on your ram?. I have a 2013 and also installed 5000 lb air bags in rear for towing, the loweset psi is 5psi. it lifts rear 1 inch, but rides great
Clean and simple. I like it, keep up the videos!
How did the upgrade affect your MPG?
Snow board trip in Vancouver! Project Asian Canadian?
doge sticker should be by the czero stickers think it looks good there, and that truck is looking good now :D
Nice rig dude I own a 05 ram 1500 leveled running stock 265/70r17s right now and was going to up grade but I think the 35s look way cooler tfs
Truck looks good dude. Thanks for the info on tires btw
Your other tires are 33.8X11.2
Did you have to lift it
good video man, thanks for sharin'
Great looking truck
I love the name of the build awesome video
Does your truck have a lift on it or is it standard right here?
Nice work brother. Also like the video. Keep it up!
Sweet build so far Czero! Just don't put that damn sticker on there! Lol
Truck looks great.. really aggressive
Did you level it or is that stock height?
Really nice look
one set of wheels is bigger then my entire car lol. They look better too ..fml
Dude, it looks good but now I’m a little confused, I put a leveling kit, 2.5 on front, 1 on back, on 2016 Ram 1500, I’m running 275/60/20 should I go with a smaller wheel to get a bigger tire? Thoughts!!!!!!
put the doge above the Czero sticker
"Finarry!"
do a pov drive video with the ram! it looks good
sweet truck man..
looks awesome dude
Love the truck what is the specs and name of rims and do you have any offset?
Looks sweet!!
Looks Badd Azz
