WooCommerce One-Click Checkout - Skip the Cart with 'Buy It Now' Button (Free method)

- You'll learn to replace the 'add to cart' buttons with 'Buy It Now' buttons to send the customer directly to the checkout (skip the cart). You'll also see how to customize the cart and checkout items in your menu.
I also show how to remove the "Item has been added to your cart" message from WooCommerce, to tidy up the user experience.

The menu customizations here are for Kadence theme (free version), which I've done many tutorials here for on the channel. It's probably #1 recommendation for a free theme at the moment.
You can use the PHP in this tutorial either by using a code snippets plugin, or by adding it to the functions.php of your child theme - we talk about both options in the video.

True, in most themes u can find that in the customizer, (appearance > customize > woocommecerce > Checkout) possibly there maybe some themes that don't have this which may need code though - good idea for a quick video
Nice one Alex, I wondered if you could add just the add to cart button say on your homepage which would add the specific item to your cart and redirect to checkout...The only way I can seem to do it is by adding product blocks, I would like to just add some code to a button that can do this, is that possible?

This is great in my case the css did not help me, I sell graphic design packages, so you only have to select and pay, the question is that if you select more than once you are added and can not delete them, I do not want to have the cart button because I am not a store it is only for the payment of 2 packages, then if I add the cart in the menu so they can check if they have chosen 1 I get the two options to view cart and pay.

Nice video as always, thank you! I have a question... Imagine a buyer clicked the "buy now" product and for some reason he didn't complete the checkout process. Thank he come back later to try again and the cart now has 2 units of that product. Is it possible to use some code do clean the cart as the first step in the process you teach here?

Is this place just a page that links back to word press ? I use to have a account there years ago. I left Wordpress when they wanted to charge for the shop stuff. It’s understandable no one can get by with a free shop. I didn’t have money at the time. You need money to make money. And I had no money so I was out of luck. If this stuff is going to cost money somewhere down the line. I can’t do it. And im not here to sound cheap. I just can’t find work. Im so worried about how im going to juggle life I have to find something that will put money in my pocket for food and stuff like that. You know how it feels to not be able to pay other people back that has put money upfront for you ? It’s freakin stressful. Im going to rewatch this cause I got cut off from an ad. Now I have to watch 2 more to restart. This is crazy in itself lol. Why is life so hard ?

If you use this solution you should make sure the customer is still able to update their cart from the checkout screen. Otherwise, if they abandon the checkout screen and return by selecting another product, both products will be added to their cart - and they will not be able to remove them.
