Great job Dan and Dani. Dani, you are the most talented camera person/car body lifter in the business. Dan, you pulling this off without the best equipment, is a testament to you being able to figure out a way to succeed with what you have. That's what hot rodders have been doing forever.
There’s sketchy, and then there’s DD Speed Shop sketchy. Can’t believe how well that worked, but I was holding my breath there for a sec. Glad you survived!
I appreciate Dan considering the Internet but I am glad he does things the way that best suits him. And Dannie jumps right in to help - coughing too. 🇨🇦
Dan you give Danni a hard time but the love shows through both ways. She is out there just wanting to help every way she can. The way you improvise to overcome difficult situations is inspiring. Knowing that you want this Chevelle for your own makes this build better.
you and dani accomplished as much in a evening to make a big shop with all the tools amd man power proud to do in a full day’s maybe week worth of work
Hi D&D, wow you don't see that every day! That's a dying art, old school. You've got a keeper there, Dan. Most chicks don't want to help. Tks for another great video !
Wow, that went pretty darn well! I think the full pan with the rockers all welded in place already definitely looks like the best way to go. This car is going to be so sweet! You look tired Dan, maybe don't do a video a day. We don't need you burning out!
Dan I think your partner in crime is the camera person /editor and part director.Dan I think you are progressing, I think like you said in two weeks most of the metal will be replaced. This will be another car on the road. Have great day Dan
You got this Dan . You bust your ass making stuff great. Make your dream car nice . Don’t get burnt out at the end . And stop caring. That’s probably why people say your hearts not in it . When you loose patience at the last couple miles of the project. I know it’s going to be amazing when you get there.
What you do with very little tools is amazing. It reminds me of my teen years with v-series Craftsman tools I got for Christmas, laying under my car parked at the curb and hoping nobody ran my legs over while I was under there. You make me want to go get an old rusty muscle car just to see if I could pull it off. Even with all the fancy tools and garage space, it would take me five times as long and there would be a lot more cussing.
I started watching this vid in my shop next to my 70. I realized what you were doing and quickly got out of there so my chevelle didnt get any emotional damage.😢 Keep up the good work guys. 👍
While I was watching it I had flashbacks of you with the convertible. All the braces and welded doors you cut out until it folded. I was waiting for you to say the braces were in the way and cut them out. Glad it worked out for you. Great project.
Long time watcher and merchandise buyer, Don’t lose hope , you inspire so many people to get out and try to fix older vehicles. Great job and great videos. Love them
Great job Dan. You have a way of visualizing how large parts need to mated. Not easy, but you make it look so. I think your willingness to jump in and just keep going is inspiring 👍
could be the angle that Danni was filming at, but it kinda looked like the sheet metal that goes up behind the rear seat base was holding up the body in the corner by the wheel tub. Either way, another great video from you two, thanks for keeping us all entertained.
Dan and Dani, the two you work well together. The work you’re doing is very inspiring to me knowing a lot younger generation still has an interest in grassroots hot riding. My youngest son is in the process of putting a new floor and a complete Crowell dash and towbord in a 1966 Chevy lmpala so.He is35 years old and I love being able to help him when I can.Keep up the amazing work. Bill in California 75 years young and still hotroding in a 1926 T coupe.
My Dad was a tool and die maker from the end of WWII until 1995. He worked at the Fisher Body Plant #1 in Wyoming (Grand Rapids), MI. That is one of the plants where they stamped out sheet metal for GM cars. I got to tour the plant and was quite impressed to see those huge presses form the body parts. He would smile at the work you are doing.
Hi Dani .. this floor is a big job and it will take a lot of time and patience to do it right .. if this car was mine I would take a lot of time and work it so it was just right .. this car will be a keeper.. I have one just like this one and my Dad bought it new and the technology was excellent for a lifetime car .. my advice is take all the time you need and don’t just sluff over it to get it done ..
This why you were put here. To resurrect the classic Chevy's that are deemed "scrap". You are the man as far as turning around, Chevys, Fords and Not Bricklands. If hot rodding is to continue, young Danielle are going to be there. Danielle, you are really anticipating Dan's moves. Way to go kids. My favorite show bar none. Thanks for everything you show me. Regards, Summerville Marc
First time always has a learning curve. You're smart enough to leave enough metal in trim as you go. Don't forget to add in some off time at a swap meet or a car show just to break up the monotony. You can always tape something like that just remember variety is the spice of life.
Looking good Dan , I’ve heard that you have single-handedly saved the sheet metal floor industry ….their new slogan is Dans building a new car …we need to make more floors , make more floors ….lol 😂😂😂👍👍. Great video today .
"Well, in Whoville they say - that the Grinch's small heart grew three sizes that day. And then - the true meaning of Christmas came through, and the Grinch found the strength of ten Grinches, plus two!"
Great Camera work Dani!! It's nice to see you going through all the steps again. A couple of those last videos were not my favorite, just fix to get rid of. I get it, just not your normal go work. GREAT JOB! I hope Dani is wearing ear and lung protection also, don't want the best camera person damaging herself
Ever since that cute " vertically challenged " little lady " took over the camera ( and humor ), the show is smooth nice touch !!!!!!!! Oh, and Daniel don't tell Dan but girl you lookin good we notice
Dan here, Giant Balls Speed Shop, seriously Dan you tackle shit that many would run away from, Kudos brother. 👊
Haha thanks buddy
It's true, Mur taught him well and plus his own initiative and determination he can tackle just about anything that comes along, 👍
@@DDSpeedShopwould you want a 70 gm fisher body service manual. I have one I can send ya if you want it
This is where Dan shines. It's what you can't see but will keep this old car on the road for a long time.
This is going to be the sweetest flat black tool bench you own!
I want to respond but I'm laughing so hard the tears in my eyes are getting in the way.😢😂
Man. The truth hurts dome days....

Holy Shit ! The things you do with what you have amazes me. I would have thought that thing was Dead. Sort of. With you that's Never the case !
Dannielle you are awesome. Dan is fortunate to have you as a assistant.
Nice work!
DD speedy floor pan shop hits it outta the park again!
There’s sketchy, and then there’s DD Speed Shop sketchy. Can’t believe how well that worked, but I was holding my breath there for a sec. Glad you survived!
Hey Dan&Dannie
Great teamwork. Dan you amaze me for what you get done with very little equipment.
Take care of Yourselves 😊
Lots of work Dan but great job. Really a good idea using the frame to roll floor in. Keep up the good work. 👍😎✌️
I appreciate Dan considering the Internet but I am glad he does things the way that best suits him. And Dannie jumps right in to help - coughing too. 🇨🇦
Nice work Dan.That's a tough job to do by yourself.Well done! Dani did help too 😊
Dan you give Danni a hard time but the love shows through both ways. She is out there just wanting to help every way she can. The way you improvise to overcome difficult situations is inspiring. Knowing that you want this Chevelle for your own makes this build better.
Dan your a legend , the work you do with basic tools and bits of wood is amazing , love the show , cheers mate 🇦🇺👍
you and dani accomplished as much in a evening to make a big shop with all the tools amd man power proud to do in a full day’s maybe week worth of work
Gotta say Dan, your a smart hack!!! You adapt and move forward. I can apply your hack jobs to my hackness!!! Great job!!!
Hi D&D, wow you don't see that every day! That's a dying art, old school. You've got a keeper there, Dan. Most chicks don't want to help. Tks for another great video !
Well done Dan and Dani..
You are both fearless...
I enjoyed that ...
Great job Dan and queen dani
Y'all are hilarious making fun of Danielle grabbing the gas line
Wow, that went pretty darn well! I think the full pan with the rockers all welded in place already definitely looks like the best way to go. This car is going to be so sweet! You look tired Dan, maybe don't do a video a day. We don't need you burning out!
Dudes!take those doors off!!! Carry on.😂
I think the approach Dan it taking makes sense, especially having the floor pan pre mounted on the frame assures proper alignment!
I'm on my second full pan right now , following Dan's lead, it does make sence the way he does it , to me anyway lol
@mikealdag7309 this is NOT a how to video in any way haha
Awesome job getting the body and chassy back together again Dan 👏
Frame off restoration DD Speed shop style!
Haha high class
You guys did great today!! And Dani your hair is ON POINT!! ❤ You kids keep doing what you know, and you are gonna be fine!
You guys are a great team and do terrific work
"You KNow WHAT " you got it done. you don't see many tackling full floor pan on beast of car every day. Done well.
I think this is the most involved rebuild yet, keep at it Dan
That went alot better then I thought it was going to go good deal you are the man kicking ass and taking names
Excellent progress, no messing about.
Love how you just get in there and get after it... I over think it too much. Gotta be more like Dan!!
Pretty impressive. Limited tools and help and you make it look easy. Good job.
Outstanding effort. Most people would have called the junk yard to come get that body by now. You are amazing Dan.
That was impressive!

I feel your pain with the low ceilings. Hopefully your next shop will have 14ft walls. Great job working with you had!
