As a Canadian I am perplexed and questioning the value of the deal struck between the US and Canada, because Trudeau shut down our Parliament by proroguing it, then he resigned shortly after from his position as Prime Minister. Trudeau no longer has the authority to conclude treaties or carry out negotiations on behalf of Canada, which for the present has no Federal Gov't. Only the Provincial Governments can now negotiate for arrangements with the USA.

The US has been innovating but also strong-arming NATO to buy US technology which has suppressed EU weapons innovation.
