Rather showing how to spend money of poor Poles to antipolish Ukraine without any conditions. Most of polish people do not want to help Ukraine any more. In my workplace in west Poland, 70-80% of workers are imigrants from Ukraine mostly men, at the same time Ukraine has problem with shortage of people on the frontline.
Poland has shown great integrity and grit through these difficult time and has shown it will stand when others whither and whine. Zelenski realizes its more important to save Ukraine than to make money.

well Zelen realizes the trade-offs, but mainly, like any good strategic thinker, he and most of the west realize that it's vital to sever all ties with RU, for several reasons. As czech i can say we are getting much closer to poland than slovakia most of Smart and working slovakians came to czech republic after electio s mainly doctors, nurses and young people so we thank slovaks for their backbone of economy and healthcare
A few days ago, Slovakia commemorated the founding of the Slovak Republic.
We observe that its independence and freedom are being challenged today, and the future remains uncertain.
It is regrettable that some Slovaks currently support Putin's Russia and Fico's authoritarian politics, which undermine Ukraine's right to join the European community and compromise its security. These individuals are primarily from the ranks of religious skeptics, atheists, and former communists. Their stance is perceived as a betrayal of the free and independent Slovakia that emerged from the former dictatorial regime of Russia in Czechoslovakia, and it is disappointing to see from current Slovakia Leadership a lack of EU solidarity against communist occupiers in Europe.
There needs to be a concerted effort to show the truth of how miserable life and economic conditions were under communist rule, compared to the economic development and general quality of living standards since ditching communism and becoming a democratic state.

Slovakia provides 19% of the Ukrainian electricity. It might have already stopped sending the electricity considering the recent outage and Fico’s personality. The situation ain’t that simple. Only Slovakia can provide Ukraine with electricity within 30 minutes in emergency. It doesn’t matter who else can give Ukraine electricity because they are not able to deliver it within 30 minutes. If Ukraine doesn’t get the electricity within 30 minutes, its electric network may completely crash.

Many here forget that Slovakia currently shelters a significant number of Ukrainian refugees, which already puts strain on the system. Cutting the gas off only increases this strain. Zelensky is ultimately making his citizens’ lives harder while catching Slovak citizens in the crossfire. As much as I respect Poland, this is nothing more than making use of the situation to garner popularity.
No one says the EU wouldn't help out Slovakia with Electricity supply so far... It is not as if Slovakia is a high demographic Country as far as I know and the EU's purpose has always been from the start to use the finances from strong industrial Member states to help other EU Country members left by the side of the road (Romania, Bulgaria, ect.).
I guess it would be a bit humiliating for Fico to ask Brussels for help maybe ? Well, you've got to learn a lesson or two in life when you are a politician and you play the wrong cards.
