I have driven 12000 kms in my tiago ev LR version driving in hilly mountainous roads only. I get 220-250 kms on a full charge without AC. I charge mostly on my 5 kw solar setup.
I am also tiago ev owner ..didnt face any issues that you had..except one issue where it was not charging due to power fault and had to reset cpu..in my 25k kms journey of 1 year..
You are lucky. But trust me giving the car to the service centre and they opening the dashboard in only 3000 km and two months was a very disappointing experience. I think my car was their testing product. 😀😀
Good review Sid & Thala. Was a pleasure watching you both converse. I can hear you two all day. I heard Sid saying on highways you get a longer range. So does regen do any justice within city ? One of our ex-colleague bought the face lift Safari and he is not happy with the service centers. Last year I was reading blogs on a couple of ev long trips and I remember one writing the tata power app was not trustable either. Its high time they pull up their socks. Given that you are impressed with the EVs and they are going to get better in the years to come. I wish you don't , but if you want to replace your Pajero with a larger ev. Will you choose say a Harrier ev or go for BE or any Japanese.
Thank you Shankar. Regen in city is a blessing in disguise. It definitely helps in 1. Increasing the longevity of the brake pads. 2. Increasing the kilometre range. Service Center really need to improve their quality and the number of workers working there. I really wish they come up with a large SUV with a four-wheel-drive option and that will be my next choice
