Sometimes, when I am watching you work, I get so scared for a minute. Lol I should know better, but I somehow get emotionally attached to what you are creating and then you do something like throw a bunch of brown stain all over it. LOL. I could not breathe for a minute and i gasped. My husband was concerned and asked me if I was ok. Lol, I said "dont worry, it's just Gabrielle adding some fabulous touches to her latest creation" and it really did look fabulous. Oh me of little faith. lol This was so much fun to watch and I love the way they all came out. hugs, treen

When I watch you in progress your work looks much darker than the final product at the end of the video.
I guess it has something to do with the light - but the colors at the final product are so much brighter. Are they bright to you when you are working ??

Hi! Yes, I take my still photos in outside natural light but film video indoors, makes a big difference in color variance...BUT in this particular video I show 2 projects made with the stencil, one made with the waterbase Shimmerz paint (so its more shimmery and softer in color) and one (the red flower) made with plain acrylic paints, thats the bold bright one. Just showing a variety of looks. xo

At 14:37, What are "simmer stickers"? These are added to the flower centers. I am using the closed captioning in place of sound because the rest of the house is asleep at this late hour.
Wow! Lol...clearly I should've re-read that whole caption! That should've said 'shimmer stickers'...they are just inexpensive dollar store stickers. I need to not rush so much when I work! Lol! Good catch! xo
It is surprising what you find when you turn on the closed captioning function. Sometimes they make very little sense at all. Yours are quite good in comparison. I will look for shimmer stickers at our local dollar store. I really enjoyed your tutorial. I like how you do the little "add ons" like the grasses and beads. It gives a nice dimension to your work.
