nice video as always. Great to see Big Boss at work - sometimes people don't appreciate that breaking into a unit and reassembling it properly is as difficult as the repair itself.
All that work for just 1 chip, that takes 2 mins to put on.
@@Edge-71 if you have the knowledge and skills to do it you can tell that. If it was me trying to replace this ic it would take hours and end up with a useless board
It adds a lot to show a speed up big boss operation. The work required is significant.
Excellent teamwork! Alex making the repair look way too dang easy and Big Boss getting the next screw ready with his left hand while finishing up the current screw with his right hand making that look way too easy. Alex's Dad is guaranteed working steadily making sure none of us punks run out of our Amtech flux, low melt solder and other supplies! 👏
Thanks for showing the work Big Boss puts into the reassembly, pulling things apart and putting them together again is a special skill too!

I liked to see Big Boss in the video, he does al the hard work taking apart and putting back together the hardware you get. It looks easy when you get the board on your workbench, hardest part is mostly getting hardware to open up without breaking those plastic clips.

Although this was a success. Showing the Timelapse of big boss shows exactly why there is a no fix fee too. That is some work to take apart and reassemble! The thing to note here is big boss is incredibly experienced, many people would take much longer too!

More Big Boss, I was always thinking It probable takes longer in a a lot of cases to disassemble/reassemble then to actual fix it. Especially Xbox/PS5's. Thats my list favorite part when repairing stuff. :)
