017 Xbox Series X: Beep On and Off

Xbox Series X: The Console was at another Repairshop. A Short removed but still not turning on. Let's see if we can fix it. Analysis and Repair.
Xbox Series X: Die Konsole war bei einem anderen Reparaturshop. Ein Kurzschluss wurde behoben, jedoch startet sie immer noch nicht. Mal schauen, ob wir was gerichtet bekommen.

Congrats on 500 subs. We've all done that. Forget to turn the main power on. I do it at least once a week. 😆

Thank you. :) Sometimes the same with the soldering station. I pick the soldering iron and I'm wondering why the solder isn't melting... XD

Top 👍hab auch noch ne xbox series x mit beep on beep off. Hab nur noch nicht rausgefunden wo der Fehler sein könnte. Vielleicht ist es bei mir ja auch ein Powermosfet. Weiter so✌️

Danke schön. :) Dass einer der Powermosfets durch ist, habe ich immer wieder. Bisher auch tatsächlich viel Glück gehabt, so dass ich mit dem Messen der umliegenden Komponenten den fehlerhaften ausmachen konnte ohne große Auslötaktionen.

@@stetofix hatte auch einen Defekten am powermosfet. Allerdings auf der 12v rail. Aber jetzt ist immernoch irgendwo was defekt. Immer noch beep on beep off.

So there was no short to gnd on 12v line or any of the rails besides OL?

At the point where I had the Xbox on my desk: Yes. The only thing I got, was the OL on this one cap at the Drmos. But I think there was previously a short on the 12V rail. At 2:44 where I'm showing the discolored board, five caps were missing.
