- The latest patch for Gray Zone Warfare is here. This latest hotfix is bringing some interesting changes including updates to AI and the way they react to "multiple players". I don't quite really know what this means but I hope it is a bit of a balancing change to AI. We will be testing it live on stream tonight/today!
UPDATE So after testing this out live on stream and hearing my communities feedback most of us are in agreement this patch broke performance by about 40%. Anyone else desling with horrid performance?

I'd honestly prefer a tactically smart but bad aim AIs than x-ray and aimbot but stupid ones. It's like facing cheaters. They have no skills but still destroy you.
AI shooting me thru a thousand trees and bushes between us is my biggest issue.
Also, after using a silence weapon, the AI automatically knows exactly where you are. They dont have to look for you or act confused.
but yea, getting shot thru a bunch of trees and bushes has always been a funny meme for me and my buds. The best option is to just find solid cover asap and hug it.
the ai actually shoots a bit at last known location so when you sneak into a bush they shoot at the bush as suppressive fire while they try to close the distance.
solution? as you say, get hard cover as fast as possible, move covertly to another bush and get distance to them. i do this and this works, at least before this patch
Right, but its not listed up, that it will be fixed, unfortunately.
Silencers are next to useless. Ai don’t care about it, they are aimboting you still. Players hear it and know that you are around.
@@seanpauli9423 gotta find another way to fight them. I think of it as a arms race, and we have inferior tech. Makes it more enjoyable
next time don't sit at one spot like a duck but move at least a bit once ai starts shooting at you - they will shoot at the aproximate location they last saw you, even if that was a split second so if you will move you will see them shooting bushes you were last in not you as long they will not spot you again

@@CoLFC they do different order in date im guessing thats june 4th 6th month 4th day 2024..a few places and people do this, why its not a standard world wide is beyond me
are these problems solved : they can see (detect) you from far even behind bushes, leaves, grass, and their bullet can go through vegetation BUT not ours (???!!!) and all the ai on a location get triggered at the same moment when you get spotted (even with silencer), and the last one they can laser one shot you like crazy wtf ???

Really hoped they fixed ai one shotting me, also hop they fixed time to kill for ai.
the AI fix is when you are in a squad. when the AI locks on to one of your team and will literally walk right by you like your not there. I believe the fix will have to do with the AI sensing you rather than just locking onto one player. the AI is still placeholder. yes it is annoying, but hey i learn AI behaviour and play accordingly. will be a whole new experience when they make the AI have tactics. but until then its better than them being pushovers. don't complain about it because you can't play the AI like other games. you have to change tactics according to how they react in current pre-alpha state.
dying through bushes all the time to me sounds like skill issue. because by now you should know the AI locks onto player when alerted. so use cover to advantage and get into position before engaging.
just my 2 cents love it or hate it.

Still aggroing the whole server, shoot from a mile away, through bushes, rocks, trees... and some walk up to you with no noise input. Great.
And after the hot fix they screwed it up worse than it was before the so called fix. Crash after crash after crash.
I keep experiencing crashes every time I play after the update. It's worse than ever.
as far as i understood the whole "ai is going to be different" its not anything major. They where testing the issue where AI would not behave correctly when being attacked by multiple people from different locations. has nothing to do with aim bot

The only changes to AI they state is for when facing multiple enemies?? What exactly does this mean? Seems like a very odd way of wording it, so does this mean the AI vs. solo players have not been changed?
Well in my experience. If my buddy shot first, the AI would focus on him only and ignore the rest of us while we kill them.
I just tried playing and was getting such horrible rubber banding on US West
Ghost recon wildlands had a decent Ai, detection was based on proximity, stealth and sound detection. they didn’t shoot at you with aim bot. But would rush and try to overwhelm you as a group.
Fuck the Hotfix they should Unbanned everybody that was using a controller that is just ridiculous I heard what they did to all those poor guys and girls that were just using a controller and not cheating.

@@bxqpxd They haven’t Unbanned anybody yet lol some dude comment saying his friend was Unbanned but it’s not true they haven’t did it yet to anybody yet in the game. The developers on discord even said they’re Still do an investigation with everybody. So it’s very unlikely they unbanned a few people here and there lol
My account was banned for that stupid reason.
@@bxqpxdI did appeal. They have a stupid unreasonable excuse. They considered it hacking but it’s an option in steam.
Performance got worse... AI is still ridiculous, when it comes to behavior and aimbot.
Yeah no point in playing the game legit unplayable with the Ai aimboting 300 meters away through bushes
@@mrblank8960 I stopped playing, for now. It is no fun the way the ai reacts, at the moment. And the performance got worse since the last patch. I had no fps issues before that fix. Even while using the scope in Tiger Bay I had good frames (it dropped from 100 to 70). But now it‘s really bad.
Who cares about AI vs multiple players if they still laser you through bushes with their aimbot.
It seems like they just fix the easy things and not the important ones, lits the same for every previous patch.

They banned half there 😂players, player count dropped dramatically 😂
Ban was cause controller 100% my boy got unbanned just waiting on me now it pops out as a 3rd party software I was using dualsense x

@@dutch1up567 they just replied to me today saying I was tryna sell in game shi for irl currency I asked them for proof etc cause I work I don’t need penny change on this game . But yes you’ll have to keep going back and forth keep making tickets that’s what i did and my boy just that lucky charm
