Welcome back sis ❤ beautiful keyboard! I can't remember if you had the older version of the qk65 but what are your overall thoughts with this latest version? It seems so much simpler to assemble and i love the badge in the back! 😊
thank you!! hope to keep uploading more consistently. i didn’t have the og qk65 but i did have their qk75. definitely much simpler, i love the idea of magnetic connectors since ribbon cables are actually a nightmare to deal with. the screen is also great, one of the better screens i’ve had so far in terms of animations. one thing im having trouble with is wired connection, but i haven’t fully troubleshot it yet. so i’ll get back to you on that!! (i’ll probably update the description for my review) 🫰
ooh it sounds so nice with the metal keycaps! this is the ice blue color right? it looks a bit more like plain silver to me after you put the keycaps on; would you say that it looks more blue irl or is it too faint to tell easily? i was thinking of getting it but not sure if i'd like it if it isn't very blue 🩵
i would say its faint to tell easily. at first look it looks like a cool-toned silver. theres times that you will notice the ice blue color. but its definitely not the bluest. but this most likely due to my lighting which is a warm white (2700K) so it cancels out the blue hue of the keyboard. but if you have a more cooler white lighting then the blue will show more! hopefully that makes sense haha

(not sure if that's how it works, but I was thinking maybe warmer toned keycaps might also cancel out the blue in the case?) i was thinking of using ceramic keycaps with it! kinda unfortunate that it's not as blue as it seems in the product images haha
