As a special thank you for using a GaMetal song (King of the Koopa's) in the Super Mario Bros. Z reboot, this is a request I'm fulfilling for Mark Haynes. This features both of the Koopaling Battle themes in NSMBW, the 'new' version (mostly) and the old SMB3 fortress boss version.

@NataliaLOVESNintendo You can beat one easily because they are easy to avoid but when you have 3 spinning under you in their spiky shell and 3 on the ceiling shooting stuff and one flying around in a chain chomp chariot you have too many stuff on one screen.

I feel Larry's leadership as the leader of the koopalings in this song too. I think Larry's battles are easy bcuz he obviously has confidence that surpasses the others, as seen in his great athletic abilities and his character from the TV series showed he is the most mischievous one, tho his own tricks can get the better of him. Ludwig is the most tactical and smart one, u can hear his wizardous thoughts in this. Roy and Mortons brutality, lemmy and iggy are both crazy but in different ways, and then like you said... we don't talk about Wendy.

The Koopalings canonically don't have a leader. According to Mario&Luigi: Paper Jam, Ludwig likes to think of himself as a leader type, but they never actually elected any one of them to take a leading role and are working together simply because they want to.
Honestly never knew there was more than the first 15 seconds of this song because that's how long it takes to beat a koopaling really
That's why Nintendo should put them in 3D games, so they could have more creative and harder attacks

For some reason, I like to treat Ludwig that he is the actual true evil villain of the Mario Series. C'mon, he has the hair and he is an musician. I wont be surprised that he is also an evil mad scientist.
It's been ages since you made this comment, but just in case you are interested, I think there are some Super Mario Maker 2 levels a bit inspired on the idea of him being a scientist
Well he was a mad scientist in the cartoon.
Personally, I like to believe Ludwig is an egotistical prick, but he secretly cares for the others.
However, I think Iggy would be close to a mad scientist, with his Chain Chomp being a test subject. Or Morton, cause he would stupid enough to let Iggy do tests on him.
I also like to think of Ludwig as an entitled egotistical prick. He knows he's the smartest and most level headed of the koopalings, and sees himself as the most powerful koopaling.
Larry's a minor troublemaker, but not bad overall
Roy's great. He puts up a tough guy act, but cares deeply for his siblings.
Lemmy's a little brain damaged, but is generally quite fun. He gets protected by most of the others, save for Wendy.
Wendy is a total brat.
Iggy is just nuts, about half mad scientist nuts and half fun nuts.
Morton's good natured, but generally slow.
Ludwig is the leader of the group, and generally the smartest. He's also the oldest, and is a touch self absorbed as a result.

I actually love this masterpiece, i hope to hear this on a brand new Mario Bros. "Kaizo" game mode, when you speedrun, fight against them all in a boss rush with their respective world enemy helpers (Including Kamek's help and Bowser at the end)

I remember playing this game when I was 6 and I know this theme like the back of my hand if even better so many memories and I played it with my sister who is you guessed it 12 years older than me and she played 64 and sunshine and played it with our mom who was 33 at the time now she is 48 . but I remember dieing a lot on world 4 and 7 and 8 and still to this day I think those are the hardest world's in the game. And I heard she died most in sunshine in sirina beach shine 1 the sand bird level A.K.A Gelato beach shine 4 the lily pad level and the pichinco machine

Anyone else disappointed the koopalings didn't appear in Galaxy or Odyssey? I think there's so much untapped potential with a 3D koopaling fight. Plus they'd have battles that aren't just "camp their shell attack until you hit them 3 times."
