Enjoy!
Jimi would be proud. Simon got a lot of Jimi soul in him. Great sounding guitar and vocals. (Rusty)
This version dug deeply in my Soul,
I experienced a Spiritual climax… which I think I need to do on occasion to help make life livable
I'm a veteran of over 50yrs of playing so what n hell is wrong with me not knowing who this gut burning beat ya down pik u up dude is..this cats greasy in that great way...DAMN !!
Still here brother.. Just a cat from Tasmania Aus who is a major Jimi fan. Thanks and I love ya. Jimi forever!
Spirit and Soul. Great man!! "Hear my train.." with a little of the Winwood "Voodo chile" dark sweetness and Thems "GLORIA". Amazing!! What a suprise. That´s are the real YT gifts from the other end of the world. ABO!
Very great playin and singin and Tone...keyboards...etc....all is great.
Thanks for your rendition
The Great class ..

Superrrrrr!
Top notch man. Hooked me in. 👏👏👏
Man he's sooooo fucking great ,first time for me😮
Wonderfull too
Wow, wow.... Dude, you can play this bad ass song
Whoa! Honestly I was expecting a run of mill cover of this song. Wow man fucking wicked and you really captured how beautiful and sad this song is. Wild brother.
@Wil Money the lead guitarist definitely is in Jimi territory & captured the tone, style, feeling and spirit. IF he had a wall of @Marshall Amps stacks backing him up, that would enhance the performance.
Sounds great dude, thought was run of the mill but when ya kicked on univibe and were able to play it sounded fantastic. Keepin Jimi James Blue flame alive brother!
Very nice! Really really nice!!
Great!!!
Superb! Funny how this says it was posted 9 years ago but most of the comments seem quite recent. I guess it takes time for the cream to rise to the top!
Fantastic - straight into Favourites. Well done for adding some of your own self into it. Most people just try to copy the original - which of course is difficult/impossible - and that is kinda not really the point if you are gonna perform it publicly. You added to it and it works brilliantly.
Sure is beautifull those sounds rolling over them hills as far as the eye can see
amazing!
The 'best' cover of a song that Jimi performed live. Some attempts to cover Jimi have been ;alright through the years, this one captures the 'Band of Gypsies' groove. Not a simple task for a mind to go where Jimi was aiming for. Jimi on the last day of 'Woodstock' is the coolest show ever, these people 'get it'.
Love it!!
Great job truly enjoyed
excellent!
Great performance.. Great feelings
I would like to experience it🎸
World class.
Fantastic version!
Amazing rendition .. « too bad your people call me disgrace.. hear my train a comin »
Nice!
Un magicien !

Hendrix vi fa divertire ....🎸🔥🤫🤫🤫🤫
Fuckin rad
Simon- start here!
It’s all a cover should be, and then some more
Jeff thinks this is ..., Good job mate!!!
Lost count of the times I've seen great, talented blues bands playing pokey little pubs with less than 100 people watching yet talentless narcicists can go on the x factor and get instant fame! Doesn't seem fair somehow.
What kind of guitar is he playing?
60s strat
@@hutch_hunta This is actuallu a Variax believe it or not. I don't play it any more, I use the '62 Strat I grew up on but this was a fun guitar. Still have it somewhere.
Simon man I’ve been listening to your cover at least 10.000 times you are a great musician
@@hutch_hunta Appreciate that my friend
If someone- somebody make a Hendrix joint sound better than his like he took Dylan like a Rolling Stone or watch tower and took it to a higher level. I am waiting to see and hear that one ☝🏿. Hendrix took other joints and pissed on them can somebody piss on him?
Sehr gutes Gitarrenspiel aber
man merkt das es dir noch
nie schlecht ging... 🤮
Nice work.
You Rock, Broheim...got any original stuff.?
