This would be super interesting. It would essentially become Dragon Ball Z from the perspective of the villains trying to beat Frezia and eventually Buu. Gero and Piccolo Jr are the heroes of earth. Vegeta, Nappa, and Raditz are the super Saiyan Z fighters. I like this weird grim dark DBZ.

I see a lot of suggestions saying Gero would have still made the Androids and fought back against Raditz and Freeza. But I see that as pretty unlikely. Without Goku to get his revenge on, it's much more likely Gero would have abandoned the project and become a collaborator with the invading forces. He worked with the Red Ribbon Army after all. Imagine him mass producing them on a galactic scale to fuel Freeza's empire!
I hate that the Senzu Beans became a means of healing as opposed to stamina and hunger restoration like it was intended. How does a Senzu Bean cure a broken neck? A hole in your chest? A stopped heart? And then be ineffective when Goku was having his heart virus? I mean, it would have been better if there was a drawback, like it would decrease your overall lifespan, or it wouldn’t heal you 100%, just simple first aid and makes your stamina go up. But all we got was a convenient item that would magically heal the team so they could go back to fighting. At this stage, with Senzu Beans, Dende, Kibito and three sets of Dragon Balls (Four if you count GT), it’s any wonder how guys in Dragon Ball are afraid of death.

Honestly these are the kind of theories I wish Xenoverse took advantage of and let us play out. They sound much more interesting than taking out some super powerful dark DBZ fighters. Hell, take this theory a step further with other factors, like maybe Gero surviving and building the androids in secrecy, maybe even forced to work with Frieza if threatened enough, or Babidi arriving on Earth too since Dabura is strong enough to keep up with a Super Saiyan (at least after he meditates or whatever he did).
What about babidi? I would assume gero wouldn't make the androids considering goku was dead but babidi would eventualy come to earth for energy to awaken majin buu.
well... he would have come for the Buu capsule, but remember that the only reason he stayed was because the earth had powerful enough fighters to reawaken Buu quickly. Imagine how long it would have taken him without ever having that energy. Odds are Buu would have been revived somewhere else, if at all.
Considering even Babidi's weakest minion is stronger than a Freeza Soldier, the only real way I see him getting enough energy would be to pursue Freeza himself.
Kami would most likely try to Mafuba Evil king Piccolo like he tried to do to Piccolo in the tournament and with so many years in the jar to make sure it never happens again he would most likely counter it like young piccolo did resulting in Kami being sealed and Evil King Piccolo's win. Evil king Piccolo would never refuse with Kami even Piccolo completely hated the idea even after him growing emotions from training with gohan.

If only because if King was forced to fuse with Kami he'd be a beast and if he some how got to Namek then fused with Nail they'd probably be more powerful than Freeza by a pretty big margin. Piccolo jr was stronger than bull Freeza by just fusing with Nail, if he'd had Kami in there too he would have been a monster. As for King not wanting to fuse with Kami, that goes without saying. But much like with jr. If the two were faced with a foe that would mean certain death for the both of them, I think they might. It was better than being dead.
What I always found funny about the beans was they worked for every one, any power level of race. There is a huge difference imo of healing up a kid goku with a power level around 100, and fully restoring Perfect Cell that has a power in the millions.
He commented to someone that he'd have to do something else to trap him, like the Backfire Mafuba, Even if Kami didn't know the Mafuba, Kami and Mr. Popo (A.K.A The Dark Lord and Master) would still be stronger than King. (I call King Piccolo King now)
Cell would still have Saiyan DNA aswell, taken off of Raditz. Eighter(Android 8) might have become a Z fighter also(assuming I'm remembering the timeline right).
On the positive side, this scenario provides the best chance for Yamcha to end up with Bulma for that much longer. Would be hilarious if he somehow lost her to Raditz... ~_~
That theory is nice and seems to hold up... But you can take it further, right? So many things would've happened, with or without Goku existing. Would the Androids then suddenly become a "rebel" force against Freeza? And what about Babidi's plan to awaken Buu?
Wouldn't there? Dr. Gero still lives and was working on the Androids up until the Saiyan arrival. Wouldn't he continue with them if the entire earth was taken over (first by a self-proclaimed demon, then a Saiyan and then Freeza himself)?
Dr.gero would still work on the androids the only problem is they wouldn't have all of the Z-fighters battle history programmed into them to make them ultimate androids resulting in them having extremely weak power compared to the ones we know. I would most likely say Dr.gero would create androids and hold off while he got info on Evil king Piccolo and then send out 13,14,15 as a test run to destroy King Piccolo if they succeed Dr.gero is now a hero of earth if they don't he would go on to make 16,17,18 then send them out rinse and repeat until Dr.gero wins. By the point Dr.gero probably wins tho I would guess the Androids power levels to be in the 900's then raditz would come either lose to a complete army of power level 900 androids or Dr.gero continued his work and the androids now have like 1200+ power level and a single one could wipe out raditz. Dr.gero would then get data off raditz and his androids fight resulting in stronger androids. Vegeta and Nappa will probably come out to earth wondering what strong fighter killed raditz and being greeted by a probably 20 or less new 1600+ androids and the cycle would repeat itself until vegeta and nappa were quick enough to handle the entire army and conquer earth or dr.gero creates new androids fast enough to keep sending out androids that are slowly getting stronger with new battle data.
Why would Dr. Gero make the Artificial Humans if there was no one to take revenge on? Son Goku was already dead. Unless you are assuming he also wanted to bring back Red Ribbon and dominate the Earth? Though I'm pretty sure Raditz would've killed every living being on the planet, including Dr. Gero (and even if he was creating Artificial Humans, they couldn't possibly be very strong during that time).
Mr Popo would be pissed that Piccolo killed his pet dragon beat up Piccolo and revived Shenlong with Kami. If they wish goku back he dies in the fight with radiz cant be revived a second time for Vegeta so Vegeta and Nappa killing the Z fighters and Popo killing the Vegeta and Nappa. With Piccolo and Kami death Popo making party on the lookout until getting bored flying to Namek killing Ginyu Force and Freiza reviving Kami. No androids since no Goku. Babidi und Dabura appear to revive Boo and trying to get Energie from the strongest person on Earth Popo. Popo killing Babidi and keeping Dabura as a Slave for cleaning the Lookout. End

Sounded all good until you got to Radits' rage. I don't think Saiyans care all that much about others of their kind, just their status in the race. It would all pan out the same, but rather than Radits taking over with his rage, he'd just take over. Would be way less climactic. "God dammit! My bro failed, and now I gotta clean up his mess..."

Now I know why Goku almost died by Drinking the UD Water! if it was a human, nothing would've happened, the human would simply get stronger but because Goku was a Saiyan that gets stronger after every fatal injury, he got a Zenkai Boost! Now THAT part makes sense, at least, that's what I think happened, anyway, here is my version if the Senzu Beans were excluded from the story: King Piccolo Arc: Here we go, to the scene where King Piccolo is Fighting with Goku, Goku stands no chance... BUT WAIT! Since no one is aware that there is a certain pellet that could make you full for 10 days and healed, 1st of all, Goku would be sad (Food Joke) and the Z fighters would be more aware and careful, this resulting into the some of the Z fighters coming to save Goku, This will lead to the plot changing immensely, the Z fighters would help Goku, probably Yamcha and Tien. While Goku gets beaten up nearly to death, Piccolo is about to land the final blow to Goku with him in his hands... But by the time he lands his strike, all he hits is his own hand, Yamcha is in the air (similar to how Tien flew in the sky to save Goku from Piccolo from the Ki Beam) and holding none other than... Goku. Goku is unconscious but then, Yamcha hands Goku to Yajirobe, Yajirobe flies off in his car to Korin, (Yajirobe still knows Korin from the battle with Mercenary Tao) Korin informs Goku about the Ultra Divine water, But because he's severely wounded, The trip will be 2x longer than it was before, this is leading into one of the Z fighters dying, I would have to say Yamcha, however Yamcha with his undying spirit, Yamcha splits King Piccolo's Ki Pool into two, Yamcha put up a good fight, Goku at this point has now drunk the Ultra Divine Water, he's now in full health, Goku takes a lot of time to get to King Piccolo, and when the time comes, Tien is nearly dead, (again like Tien swooping in in the original plot) Goku swoops in and saves Tien, the plot is fairly similar now, but Piccolo(Jr.) is a little weaker than in the original plot, I'd say still on par with Goku but Piccolo has a little less stamina, not enough to make a difference, but however, Yamcha cannot be wished back at the end of Z since he's been revived 2 times, Saiyan Arc: Krillin has to stay injured, but By the fight with Vegeta and Goku begins, Krillin gets healed by Gohan (because he's an NURRRRD), but Krillin has less energy to control the Spirit Bomb from the fight of Vegeta, Things play out like it normally did, Namek Arc: Goku would be 1% weaker because he had to take 2 days to rest but when he comes to Namek, instead of giving Krillin and Gohan a Senzu Bean, he Transfers his energy to them instead, Which leads to Kaioken x19 instead of x20 Android Arc: They would all have to be taken to somewhere to rest, things would play out similar at the beginning, but at the mid part of the story, Krillin takes note of what Goku did and he transfers his energy to the Z fighters but has almost no Ki left, (Which is okay cause he wasn't important in the mid-part anyway...) Imperfect Cell Arc: Piccolo has to lose an Immense amount of energy, but by the time Cell is about to drain the rest of his energy, The Z fighters come in Semi-Perfect Cell Arc: Krillin and Vegeta are gonna have to get some time to settle it in, this time Perfect Cell takes to fight Ultra Saiyan Trunks and Terrorize the world Cell Games Arc: Goku would simply give up, he didn't lose that much energy anyway. Since the Z fighters couldn't heal themselves, they would have to push their limits, some of them would have to push their limits, and some of them would kill a Cell Jr. but Gohan would still kill 8 because he's Gohan Majin Buu Arc: Videl would have to rest, but because Gohan couldn't heal Videl, he would make up for it and kiss her, Vegeta's Final Atonement would be weaker but would still blow Majin Buu to bits. So what did you think Masako? I worked very hard on this, I hope you respond. what about the fact that at some point Babadi would have come looking for Buu and with earth being Freiza Planet 726387 (or whatever) then Frieza would have had to fight Buu after his resurrection (as for the androids i reckon that Dr Gero would have stopped making them after Goku was dead)

I'm not sure about that. Kami and Piccolo should theoretically have been around the same strength, and Kami was weakened by old age. As for Popo, outside of Abridged canon he's weaker than Kami.
its actually stated that king piccolo was the weaker half to Kami and I mean laughably weaker to the point when first meeting him goku who beat piccolo about a week ago couldn't even land a hit on kami let alone popo.

Only problem I can see with the thing is, remember, if Kami dies, so does King Piccolo. Remember they're connected due to being the two halves of the Namless Namekian so that's a thinf
Then Freeza would have sent the Ginyu force to kill him, since Raditz was the strongest warrior that Gero would have seen at that time Recoome, Jeice, and Burter would have been more than enough to kill him and android 19. Cell and the other androids would continue to sleep endlessly, since the Ginyu force wouldn't be stupid enough to let them get away. And even if he woke up, Cell wouldn't have anyone stronger than Raditz in him and no one to absorb but very weak versions of 17 and 18, so Perfect Cell in that event would be at most strong enough for Ginyu to consider switching bodies, but nowhere near first form Freeza.

That... wouldn't have happened... since Radditz would have killed all life on Earth and make it a dead wasteland of a ball... and Dr. Gero didn't implant his brain into his cybernetic body until MUCH later... though his technology would vastly improve the look of the Ice Demon Empire, and still be functional!!!
NOOOOPE. Radditz wouldn't have killed anything but humans, and it's quite possible that he woudn't have killed all of them. Remember that saiyans conquered worlds and then sold them, so turning a planet as great as the earth into a wasteland don't make any sense for someone like Radditz.
The real question is: Does the near death getting stronger experience of Saiyans still work? In that case, Vegeta and Goku should just blast holes in their bodies and getting healed by beans or Dende untill they can beat the Omniking while sleeping.
I think the current thing about this, is that they are too proud to do that, remember the fusions, the God ritual? Neither Vegeta nor Goku liked that. Vegeta did the whole Dende thing out of pure necessity in the Frieza saga, but currently they have no reason to get the zenkai boost, if it even does that much anymore.
Well, yes, they could get stronger... But they are so powerful that the Zenkai is near pointless. The strongest we got was Cell doubling his power, meaning he got the power of multiple Androids from one Zenkai. Goku could never come back from an injury reducing him to one cell, meaning the most he'd get would be the one from Namek, where he went from 90K to 3M (or roughly 2/3rds GInyu to a little less than 3 Second Form Freezas) Even if he could convince someone to injure him (since, as Vegeta explained, Zenkais cannot be attained from self harm), he'd only be getting a few million tops, which is in a scenario in which he'd be basically a living corpse. And all that pain would amount to power that is ridiculously small compared to his godly strength.

Probably not. Kakarot wasn't killed in front of him, which would dampen the rage. Besides, there seems to be some kind of minimum power required to push one over to Super Saiyan. (I mean, it's not like Goku didn't have close friends killed in front of him before.) False Super Saiyan might be possible, but that's about it.
i think you are right about the minimum power required. If there was no minimum power required then Gohan would have also turned super saiyan after seeing krilling explode and Piccolo being almost killed
But he was killed with Raditz. And if Piccolo wasn't there to kill Raditz and Goku, Raditz would have done it anyway. Sure, IF Raditz actually killed Goku himself, he would have raged about that Goku didn't come with him and destroy planets and so, that might've caused his transformation also. Who knows?
Dr. Gero would've bodied Freeza and anyone of his goons. He built Androids that smacked Vegeta around and tossed Tien's salad. Yeah, no, any alien visiting Earth is going to know the meaning of rape.
He built the androids because of Goku. And Goku's dead. He built his own body because Trunks' meddling with the timeline. The branching timelines never happens and Trunks never exists.
SJ.Fox He's capable of building an android based off another lifeform. There's literately *zero* items/events capable of stopping him if he were to get Freeza's DNA.
It depends I think, sure Gero is capable of making an android to beat Frieza, but with Goku dead he has no reason too. Maybe if he hid in an underground bunker for 2-3 years while Frieza ruled over earth using his spy bots to take samples from King Cold and Frieza and doing something akin to the cell project though perhaps expedited by starting with a human base rather than growing from a single cell he could defeat them. Making something perhaps not as strong as the cell we know, but certainly far stronger than Frieza or King Cold in his current form. (I don't know if it's confirmed, but King Cold's certainly seems like he's not in his final form when Trunks defeats him and it's unclear just how much stronger that would be)
It's Smash Time This implies he has info on Frieza. This also implies Frieza visits the planet. So the strongest android Gero would build would be based around Radditz's strength. But, you know, I doubt Gero of all people would build anything for the benefit of earth. Moreso he'd side with Radditz or get blown to bits.
Your Goku wouldn't have been able to make the trip to the Divine water so that throws your theory all to whack. If anything, he would have sat in Korins tower resting and healing up(this is the assumption that Korin has food available, or rather we take away the healing properties of the beans and they just fill you up). So we say it takes some months for Goku to heal up. Yamcha and Tien are now dead, along with most martial artist and a sizeable population. At this point, Goku takes the divine water and is able to defeat King Piccolo, and since no one is there to be a hostage he's able to kill him outright... so now we have two paths. MaJr is born or Kami is dead. If Kami is dead, Goku's adventure would probably end immediately after... I mean he might get trained by Popo, but that would be the expressed purpose of becoming a Kami of earth, and Goku has already shown disinterest in the title so for all purposes, this path is a wash for Earth. If we continue from MaJr being born, then it's pretty much the same except both Piccolo and Goku need to be hospitalized after the tournament. Beyond that we continue into the Saiyan arc and again, we continue like business. The next issue comes from after Goku's run back from Snakeway... he was exhausted and honestly I forgot this key difference, I think the authors tend to forget this key difference as well. Time runs differently in afterworld than it does in the real and I think King Kai stated it would take Goku a day or so to get back(afterworld time) which amounted to some hours in the real. This being said, Goku would be exhausted and Krillin and Piccolo would be out for the count especially since Popo is "too busy buttering toast". An exhausted Goku vs Nappa may force him to reveal his Kaioken faster and with that, assuming the whole Saiyan Pride of single combat is a thing with Veggie watching from the sidelines, he may tire himself out faster if he doesn't wreck himself. Following Nappa's defeat would be Vegeta's battle and this is just downhill... a can't even... if for whatever reason he does manage to defeat Vegeta in a similar manner it would be a scrape of a victory since there's no Krillin to assist only Yajirobe. Honestly Goku's adventure should end here, but we're going to assume a miracle happens and they all survive similarly to before just with Gohan and Yajirobe. The next portion of our story is Namek(This is going to be a shit show and a half). Goku and Krillin are in the hospital so that leaves Gohan, Bulma and probably Roshi/Yajirobe(for w/e reason he decides to go). The key thing about this exploration initially was Krillin... people like to give him shit but he made this part of the arc worthwhile in the crews livelihood. That being said, Roshi isn't as mobile as Yajirobe and Gohan isn't too bright for an intelligent kid. If for whatever reason they make it too Dende's village we have the issue of Gohan keeping his power suppressed, similar to before only who is going to make him think to run in this situation? Ultimately Namek is a complete wash. Without the senzu healing properties Goku and Krillin can't make it out of the hospital to do anything and Freeza is now on his way to earth because he's Freeza and pissed he couldn't get his wish. Honestly, I think a full blown fleshed out scenario on all of this would be worth the read.

I can't imagine Raditz would honestly have been very upset about his brother being dead. Maybe slightly miffed that he lost to Piccolo, but then he'd dismiss him as worthless due to lacking power.
One reason I never QUITE like some "What if" scenarios is they suddenly take away the character's ability to kind of beat the odds, it is treated like "The second the plot changes, all of a sudden everyone dies". King Piccolo was strong... but final tournament Yajirobe was stronger... It is more than possible that if Goku died that one of the other Z-Warriors could have taken up the mantle or one of the other powerful warriors of earth.
I love these hypotheticals. I wouldn't mind it going further even. What goes on with Vegeta and Nappa? Do the saiyans find out about their planet? Do they find a way to become stronger than Frieza? Thanks for the thought-provoking Masako!
Masako, how about In a future video you talk about "How/Why Future Trunks' future fascinates the fans"? Some things it would be considered. 1 - It's a grimm and sad story In a series known for being colorful and humorous. 2 - Future Gohan and Trunks, and their awesomeness. 3 - The stakes are higher In this timeline, knowing that almost everyone we knew died, Senzu Beans are pretty much gone and Dragon Balls are no more. Which segways to... 4 - It's Dragon Ball withouth Dragon Balls. Besides being different and going were we never been before. The heroes have one chance and ONLY one chance to do the things right, which Is why Gohan's death Is one of the most heartbreaking moments of the series.
Dragonball pre-retcons was pretty different. I think it's safe to say anyone strong and wise back then could live for quite a while, such as Korin. The hermit part may just have to due with his lifestyle.

The ironic part is that Super confirms that there are no Sensu beans in Trunk's Future. I also like the idea that Goku or Sayians have Flash like metabolism, no power of the Sun nonsense, I always liked the idea that Sayians probably have special organs to convert calories into some far above normal sugars like ATP. Okay, I getting a little to scifi for DBZ but I don't mind mixing of fandom.
What would be an interesting follow up to this would be discussing what would happen if each senzu bean that was eaten was instead not eaten. E.g. could things have been different in the cell games if Cell had not been given one after his fight with Goku? What would have happened if Gohan had not been given one in the Ressurection 'F' arc, and possibly died?

I see a lot of suggestions saying Gero would have still made the Androids and fought back against Raditz and Freeza. But I see that as pretty unlikely. Without Goku to get his revenge on, it's much more likely Gero would have abandoned the project and become a collaborator with the invading forces. He worked with the Red Ribbon Army after all. Imagine him mass producing them on a galactic scale to fuel Freeza's empire!
I hate that the Senzu Beans became a means of healing as opposed to stamina and hunger restoration like it was intended. How does a Senzu Bean cure a broken neck? A hole in your chest? A stopped heart? And then be ineffective when Goku was having his heart virus? I mean, it would have been better if there was a drawback, like it would decrease your overall lifespan, or it wouldn’t heal you 100%, just simple first aid and makes your stamina go up. But all we got was a convenient item that would magically heal the team so they could go back to fighting. At this stage, with Senzu Beans, Dende, Kibito and three sets of Dragon Balls (Four if you count GT), it’s any wonder how guys in Dragon Ball are afraid of death.

Honestly these are the kind of theories I wish Xenoverse took advantage of and let us play out. They sound much more interesting than taking out some super powerful dark DBZ fighters. Hell, take this theory a step further with other factors, like maybe Gero surviving and building the androids in secrecy, maybe even forced to work with Frieza if threatened enough, or Babidi arriving on Earth too since Dabura is strong enough to keep up with a Super Saiyan (at least after he meditates or whatever he did).

well... he would have come for the Buu capsule, but remember that the only reason he stayed was because the earth had powerful enough fighters to reawaken Buu quickly. Imagine how long it would have taken him without ever having that energy. Odds are Buu would have been revived somewhere else, if at all.
Then I guess he would have taken the energy from all the Frieza soldeirs stationed on Earth then he would have left when he'd run out.
Considering even Babidi's weakest minion is stronger than a Freeza Soldier, the only real way I see him getting enough energy would be to pursue Freeza himself.

If only because if King was forced to fuse with Kami he'd be a beast and if he some how got to Namek then fused with Nail they'd probably be more powerful than Freeza by a pretty big margin. Piccolo jr was stronger than bull Freeza by just fusing with Nail, if he'd had Kami in there too he would have been a monster.
As for King not wanting to fuse with Kami, that goes without saying. But much like with jr. If the two were faced with a foe that would mean certain death for the both of them, I think they might. It was better than being dead.
What I always found funny about the beans was they worked for every one, any power level of race. There is a huge difference imo of healing up a kid goku with a power level around 100, and fully restoring Perfect Cell that has a power in the millions.
But if King Piccolo killed Kami, he would die too.

Dr.gero would still work on the androids the only problem is they wouldn't have all of the Z-fighters battle history programmed into them to make them ultimate androids resulting in them having extremely weak power compared to the ones we know. I would most likely say Dr.gero would create androids and hold off while he got info on Evil king Piccolo and then send out 13,14,15 as a test run to destroy King Piccolo if they succeed Dr.gero is now a hero of earth if they don't he would go on to make 16,17,18 then send them out rinse and repeat until Dr.gero wins. By the point Dr.gero probably wins tho I would guess the Androids power levels to be in the 900's then raditz would come either lose to a complete army of power level 900 androids or Dr.gero continued his work and the androids now have like 1200+ power level and a single one could wipe out raditz. Dr.gero would then get data off raditz and his androids fight resulting in stronger androids. Vegeta and Nappa will probably come out to earth wondering what strong fighter killed raditz and being greeted by a probably 20 or less new 1600+ androids and the cycle would repeat itself until vegeta and nappa were quick enough to handle the entire army and conquer earth or dr.gero creates new androids fast enough to keep sending out androids that are slowly getting stronger with new battle data.
Why would Dr. Gero make the Artificial Humans if there was no one to take revenge on? Son Goku was already dead. Unless you are assuming he also wanted to bring back Red Ribbon and dominate the Earth? Though I'm pretty sure Raditz would've killed every living being on the planet, including Dr. Gero (and even if he was creating Artificial Humans, they couldn't possibly be very strong during that time).

Sounded all good until you got to Radits' rage. I don't think Saiyans care all that much about others of their kind, just their status in the race. It would all pan out the same, but rather than Radits taking over with his rage, he'd just take over. Would be way less climactic. "God dammit! My bro failed, and now I gotta clean up his mess..."
I mean, Raditz had a little more care about his race and brother, he tried 3 times to convince Goku to join him
Ohh! Wait! Now I know why Goku almost died by Drinking the UD Water! if it was a human, nothing would've happened, the human would simply get stronger but because Goku was a Saiyan that gets stronger after every fatal injury, he got a Zenkai Boost! Now THAT part makes sense, at least, that's what I think happened, anyway, here is my version if the Senzu Beans were excluded from the story:
King Piccolo Arc:
Here we go, to the scene where King Piccolo is Fighting with Goku, Goku stands no chance... BUT WAIT! Since no one is aware that there is a certain pellet that could make you full for 10 days and healed, 1st of all, Goku would be sad (Food Joke) and the Z fighters would be more aware and careful, this resulting into the some of the Z fighters coming to save Goku, This will lead to the plot changing immensely, the Z fighters would help Goku, probably Yamcha and Tien. While Goku gets beaten up nearly to death, Piccolo is about to land the final blow to Goku with him in his hands... But by the time he lands his strike, all he hits is his own hand, Yamcha is in the air (similar to how Tien flew in the sky to save Goku from Piccolo from the Ki Beam) and holding none other than... Goku. Goku is unconscious but then, Yamcha hands Goku to Yajirobe, Yajirobe flies off in his car to Korin, (Yajirobe still knows Korin from the battle with Mercenary Tao) Korin informs Goku about the Ultra Divine water, But because he's severely wounded, The trip will be 2x longer than it was before, this is leading into one of the Z fighters dying, I would have to say Yamcha, however Yamcha with his undying spirit, Yamcha splits King Piccolo's Ki Pool into two, Yamcha put up a good fight, Goku at this point has now drunk the Ultra Divine Water, he's now in full health, Goku takes a lot of time to get to King Piccolo, and when the time comes, Tien is nearly dead, (again like Tien swooping in in the original plot) Goku swoops in and saves Tien, the plot is fairly similar now, but Piccolo(Jr.) is a little weaker than in the original plot, I'd say still on par with Goku but Piccolo has a little less stamina, not enough to make a difference, but however, Yamcha cannot be wished back at the end of Z since he's been revived 2 times,
Saiyan Arc:
Krillin has to stay injured, but By the fight with Vegeta and Goku begins, Krillin gets healed by Gohan (because he's an NURRRRD), but Krillin has less energy to control the Spirit Bomb from the fight of Vegeta, Things play out like it normally did,
Namek Arc:
Goku would be 1% weaker because he had to take 2 days to rest but when he comes to Namek, instead of giving Krillin and Gohan a Senzu Bean, he Transfers his energy to them instead, Which leads to Kaioken x19 instead of x20
Android Arc:
They would all have to be taken to somewhere to rest, things would play out similar at the beginning, but at the mid part of the story, Krillin takes note of what Goku did and he transfers his energy to the Z fighters but has almost no Ki left, (Which is okay cause he wasn't important in the mid-part anyway...)
Imperfect Cell Arc:
Piccolo has to lose an Immense amount of energy, but by the time Cell is about to drain the rest of his energy, The Z fighters come in
Semi-Perfect Cell Arc:
Krillin and Vegeta are gonna have to get some time to settle it in, this time Perfect Cell takes to fight Ultra Saiyan Trunks and Terrorize the world
Cell Games Arc:
Goku would simply give up, he didn't lose that much energy anyway. Since the Z fighters couldn't heal themselves, they would have to push their limits, some of them would have to push their limits, and some of them would kill a Cell Jr. but Gohan would still kill 8 because he's Gohan
Majin Buu Arc:
Videl would have to rest, but because Gohan couldn't heal Videl, he would make up for it and kiss her, Vegeta's Final Atonement would be weaker but would still blow Majin Buu to bits.

I'm not sure about that. Kami and Piccolo should theoretically have been around the same strength, and Kami was weakened by old age. As for Popo, outside of Abridged canon he's weaker than Kami.

Then Freeza would have sent the Ginyu force to kill him, since Raditz was the strongest warrior that Gero would have seen at that time Recoome, Jeice, and Burter would have been more than enough to kill him and android 19. Cell and the other androids would continue to sleep endlessly, since the Ginyu force wouldn't be stupid enough to let them get away. And even if he woke up, Cell wouldn't have anyone stronger than Raditz in him and no one to absorb but very weak versions of 17 and 18, so Perfect Cell in that event would be at most strong enough for Ginyu to consider switching bodies, but nowhere near first form Freeza.

NOOOOPE. Radditz wouldn't have killed anything but humans, and it's quite possible that he woudn't have killed all of them. Remember that saiyans conquered worlds and then sold them, so turning a planet as great as the earth into a wasteland don't make any sense for someone like Radditz.

I think the current thing about this, is that they are too proud to do that, remember the fusions, the God ritual? Neither Vegeta nor Goku liked that. Vegeta did the whole Dende thing out of pure necessity in the Frieza saga, but currently they have no reason to get the zenkai boost, if it even does that much anymore.

Well, yes, they could get stronger... But they are so powerful that the Zenkai is near pointless. The strongest we got was Cell doubling his power, meaning he got the power of multiple Androids from one Zenkai. Goku could never come back from an injury reducing him to one cell, meaning the most he'd get would be the one from Namek, where he went from 90K to 3M (or roughly 2/3rds GInyu to a little less than 3 Second Form Freezas)
Even if he could convince someone to injure him (since, as Vegeta explained, Zenkais cannot be attained from self harm), he'd only be getting a few million tops, which is in a scenario in which he'd be basically a living corpse. And all that pain would amount to power that is ridiculously small compared to his godly strength.

Sure, IF Raditz actually killed Goku himself, he would have raged about that Goku didn't come with him and destroy planets and so, that might've caused his transformation also. Who knows?

That sounds like a great setup to an AU where Raditz becomes the hero who kills Frieza.
Dr. Gero would've bodied Freeza and anyone of his goons. He built Androids that smacked Vegeta around and tossed Tien's salad. Yeah, no, any alien visiting Earth is going to know the meaning of rape.
He built the androids because of Goku. And Goku's dead. He built his own body because Trunks' meddling with the timeline. The branching timelines never happens and Trunks never exists.
SJ.Fox He's capable of building an android based off another lifeform. There's literately *zero* items/events capable of stopping him if he were to get Freeza's DNA.
King Picollo would may have killed him and with scouters at least Freiza's Army could find him before he was able to build 17 and 18
It depends I think, sure Gero is capable of making an android to beat Frieza, but with Goku dead he has no reason too. Maybe if he hid in an underground bunker for 2-3 years while Frieza ruled over earth using his spy bots to take samples from King Cold and Frieza and doing something akin to the cell project though perhaps expedited by starting with a human base rather than growing from a single cell he could defeat them.
Making something perhaps not as strong as the cell we know, but certainly far stronger than Frieza or King Cold in his current form. (I don't know if it's confirmed, but King Cold's certainly seems like he's not in his final form when Trunks defeats him and it's unclear just how much stronger that would be)
It's Smash Time This implies he has info on Frieza. This also implies Frieza visits the planet. So the strongest android Gero would build would be based around Radditz's strength. But, you know, I doubt Gero of all people would build anything for the benefit of earth. Moreso he'd side with Radditz or get blown to bits.
Your Goku wouldn't have been able to make the trip to the Divine water so that throws your theory all to whack. If anything, he would have sat in Korins tower resting and healing up(this is the assumption that Korin has food available, or rather we take away the healing properties of the beans and they just fill you up). So we say it takes some months for Goku to heal up. Yamcha and Tien are now dead, along with most martial artist and a sizeable population. At this point, Goku takes the divine water and is able to defeat King Piccolo, and since no one is there to be a hostage he's able to kill him outright... so now we have two paths. MaJr is born or Kami is dead.
If Kami is dead, Goku's adventure would probably end immediately after... I mean he might get trained by Popo, but that would be the expressed purpose of becoming a Kami of earth, and Goku has already shown disinterest in the title so for all purposes, this path is a wash for Earth.
If we continue from MaJr being born, then it's pretty much the same except both Piccolo and Goku need to be hospitalized after the tournament. Beyond that we continue into the Saiyan arc and again, we continue like business. The next issue comes from after Goku's run back from Snakeway... he was exhausted and honestly I forgot this key difference, I think the authors tend to forget this key difference as well. Time runs differently in afterworld than it does in the real and I think King Kai stated it would take Goku a day or so to get back(afterworld time) which amounted to some hours in the real. This being said, Goku would be exhausted and Krillin and Piccolo would be out for the count especially since Popo is "too busy buttering toast". An exhausted Goku vs Nappa may force him to reveal his Kaioken faster and with that, assuming the whole Saiyan Pride of single combat is a thing with Veggie watching from the sidelines, he may tire himself out faster if he doesn't wreck himself. Following Nappa's defeat would be Vegeta's battle and this is just downhill... a can't even... if for whatever reason he does manage to defeat Vegeta in a similar manner it would be a scrape of a victory since there's no Krillin to assist only Yajirobe. Honestly Goku's adventure should end here, but we're going to assume a miracle happens and they all survive similarly to before just with Gohan and Yajirobe.
The next portion of our story is Namek(This is going to be a shit show and a half). Goku and Krillin are in the hospital so that leaves Gohan, Bulma and probably Roshi/Yajirobe(for w/e reason he decides to go). The key thing about this exploration initially was Krillin... people like to give him shit but he made this part of the arc worthwhile in the crews livelihood. That being said, Roshi isn't as mobile as Yajirobe and Gohan isn't too bright for an intelligent kid. If for whatever reason they make it too Dende's village we have the issue of Gohan keeping his power suppressed, similar to before only who is going to make him think to run in this situation? Ultimately Namek is a complete wash. Without the senzu healing properties Goku and Krillin can't make it out of the hospital to do anything and Freeza is now on his way to earth because he's Freeza and pissed he couldn't get his wish.
Honestly, I think a full blown fleshed out scenario on all of this would be worth the read.

Senzu beans are very much a copout. So much so that we have honestly taken them for granted.
Your right the Senzu Beans are vital up until Dragon Ball Super: Tournament of Power Arc.
I can't imagine Raditz would honestly have been very upset about his brother being dead. Maybe slightly miffed that he lost to Piccolo, but then he'd dismiss him as worthless due to lacking power.

One reason I never QUITE like some "What if" scenarios is they suddenly take away the character's ability to kind of beat the odds, it is treated like "The second the plot changes, all of a sudden everyone dies". King Piccolo was strong... but final tournament Yajirobe was stronger... It is more than possible that if Goku died that one of the other Z-Warriors could have taken up the mantle or one of the other powerful warriors of earth.

2 - Future Gohan and Trunks, and their awesomeness.
3 - The stakes are higher In this timeline, knowing that almost everyone we knew died, Senzu Beans are pretty much gone and Dragon Balls are no more. Which segways to...
4 - It's Dragon Ball withouth Dragon Balls. Besides being different and going were we never been before. The heroes have one chance and ONLY one chance to do the things right, which Is why Gohan's death Is one of the most heartbreaking moments of the series.

Dragonball pre-retcons was pretty different. I think it's safe to say anyone strong and wise back then could live for quite a while, such as Korin. The hermit part may just have to due with his lifestyle.

The ironic part is that Super confirms that there are no Sensu beans in Trunk's Future. I also like the idea that Goku or Sayians have Flash like metabolism, no power of the Sun nonsense, I always liked the idea that Sayians probably have special organs to convert calories into some far above normal sugars like ATP. Okay, I getting a little to scifi for DBZ but I don't mind mixing of fandom.
What would be an interesting follow up to this would be discussing what would happen if each senzu bean that was eaten was instead not eaten. E.g. could things have been different in the cell games if Cell had not been given one after his fight with Goku? What would have happened if Gohan had not been given one in the Ressurection 'F' arc, and possibly died?
